Triangular shaped object in STEREO data explained

Some people have noticed a strange triangular or diamond-shape "object" entering the field-of-view of the HI2 telescope on STEREO Behind around December 26, 2011. You can see the feature in question in this movie moving from right-to-left, just above the trapezoidal occulter on the right side of the image, and more clearly in this close-up movie.What is this?

Maybe they are trying to cover up again maybe not but i do not trust nasa they have an answer for every single anomaly in space.

What about it doesnt make sense? It uses dual space telescopes to give the stereo imaging, so reflective artifacts don't seem strange to me.

Hey but plausable explanation i guess well for you anyway.Nasa gots an explanation for everthing.Some people feel safe and believe what the experts say.I tend to disagree and beleive alot of the universe is not what we have been told

Naturally I am a big skeptic, I'll admit that, I like knowing things, I don't jump to conclusions, assuming everything is the product of some malevolent or mysterious entity.

For the record, I don't believe everything NASA has to say, its their job to keep public confidence, the majority of people like to look to them for answers, not saying I fall into that group but alot of people do. But that goes with saying they are not idiots, NASA has some incredibly smart individuals as part of their giant team. We're dealing with highly intricate hardware here, artifacts are among the many things that can produce scrupulous things that may look like something they are not. I'm not saying that what NASA has said about this particular observation is necessarily absolutely true, but given the system of telescopes in question and the artifact it has produced it does make alot of sense.

You have two options, you can either submit yourself to the notion that NASA has no idea what they are talking about and lie about most things, or you can learn for yourself about the things in question and come to a conclusion on your own.

Perhaps they feel they don't need to release a statement until it receives some public attention. NASA has an account on here; they should tell us.
