This is a prime example, why we can't just buy into any Joe who claims 2012 or Aliens etc..many people out there willing to prey on the naive. We must always build a case and then take it from there.

I had to chuckle because of his acting being rather obvious. If someone truly is skilled in any form of Psi, this is not what it 'tastes' like at all, the 'taste' would be much clearer and you would feel it. It was insta-fake for me, not to mention the vagueness of the data he was relaying. It was not at all delivered on the level of someone truly skilled in Psi.

I'd also like to include this as an example of how some good editing skills with After Effects can give a digital video a very realistic VHS 'texture':

Look at his pants..they dont look 1980s..they are not the bell bottom types worn then..they look current style..Also the video is very clear..look at any 1980 clips even Hollywood films are not that clear. Who is this man! I want photos and pics of him form the 1980s to prove this is in anyway authentic!

Maybe the Hollywood movies are wrong, but no way were bell bottoms still in fashion in the 1980s. Not in Memphis, Tennessee, and not in New York City, which is where I lived by then. I still have the clothes I wore in 1980, some of them, and there are no bell bottoms. I tossed all my bell bottoms by the mid-to-late 1970s. By 1977 at the latest. And that was in Memphis, hardly a forward-thinking town in terms of fashion back in those days.

Nah, Hollywood definitely does not always get it right. People get ideas about how it was, and then go with those ideas. But that doesn't mean they're right. You have to ask the people who were living then.

I can't open the page at all. The image on Bestlion's post seems to indicate this guy is the same one, but i can't be sure due to size, but it looks like him. He looked like a very young 40 year old in the footage that was supposed to be from the 80's. I base that on his saying he was 10 years old in the 50's when he predicted men walking on the moon. All this, "I can't see anything past 2012" rings like a hoax to me anyway. I mean even Edgar Casey said his next incarnation after the "Edgar Casey" was in 2100 and therefore he saw past 2012, right?

And certainly a dorky guy could still be seen wearing them into the early 80's.

Are you making a mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive linkage that all men wore bell bottoms in the 1980's?

If not, then it's a moot point. The jeans could easily have been worn in the 1980's even if some dork still wore bell bottoms.

I hate to be the informer here, but those are what in America are called "Boot cut" jeans, not bell bottoms. They are designed to go over cowboy boots. Also notice the other men are NOT wearing them. Bell bottoms look like this:



Notice they cover the entire foot. Again, this is pretty off topic to prove or disprove the truth of the video. I call it hoax for reasons I previously stated, but I will end the issue here for me. It seems like the horse is dead.

Well, I´m not sure if some of you are still on the fence about this guy, but for me, for many reasons, it´s so clear that it´s a hoax.

Look at the man´s gestures. His hands are tense and in the same position during all the interview. It means he´s trying not to let his hands unmask his lies. His feet are also mostly in the same position. He´s deliberately doing this, so his body can´t "talk" for itself.

Also, look at his lips. He´s always tensing his lip muscles. This is a clear sign of poor acting. He´s not convinced of what he´s talking.

His eyes are also very centered. It seems he´s controlling them as well, in order to avoid giving clues. Usually, people move their eyes in conversations, specially when visualizing images and memories within their minds.

This guy is clearly aware of body language, and he´s deliberately trying to hide all body and gestural signs.

However, the bigger problem is that he´s actually a terrible actor. An amateur actor could do better, indeed.

The image quality also talks by itself. The image is pretty fluid to be maid with an 80´s regular camera (and professional cameras were pretty expensive back there) and the image artifacts are not emulating tape recordings in a convincing way. The video has the "feel" of a digital video, with analogic tape spice added in post production.

i don't know if it's cause I don't understand french or don't know french people well enough but something about the guy's mannerisms seemed rehearsed. His nervousness especially where he's trying to mention ET's and when he says "There I said it" seemed, staged and a bit unnatural. I feel if you were naturally nervous you wouldn't show so many blatant gestures of nervousness adjusting yourself in your seat, stalling etc. Almost like he was trying to make it obvious, like in a movie. Plus the guy's....conversation....seemed to lack that...well it felt a bit empty. Like just saying lines without really believing in them. He didn't seem passionate. That's the word. yeah.... just saw it again...not getting the vibe at all. In fact not getting any vibe. Compare that to some real contactee videos. The emotional factor, you can read the struggle in their eyes of what they've gone through and go through when recounting their experiences. Whereas this guy if you read through his tone just didn't/doesn't seem to care much.......Or I could be wrong and we going to get invaded by aliens this year and world going to end..............not.

Another interesting tid bit is that he says he doesn't see anything after 2012!!? He says that we will be meeting other people, an encounter...an alien encounter...2012 is the year of The Encounter!! he then goes on to talk about how we will feel with happiness...happy...I think he is trying to explain that consciousness will hit the roof ... he also says that we will be the losers...but I suppose its difficult to imagine the expansion of our consciousness from 1980 until now ...

Being a frenchman myself, this is not at all what he was saying....

Roughly translated:

Happy? How do you want me to feel Happy? There will be conflict... listen, we are going to encounter a race far more advanced and powerful then us. There will be winners and losers... and we will be the losers. If i don't see anything after 2012 it is because humanity will have vanished . (walks of scene)

Now as for the fashion debate... his jeans dont fit right for the times and the film quality is far too good... especially as they flash from scene to scene. As for the glasses, that style came back 2 years ago. Retro is (or was) in baby.

Also in the video he claims he made his prediction of a man on the moon in 1950 at which time he claims he was 10 years old... which would place him at 40 yrs in this video which would make him 72 yrs today? hmph ...

Well, then, what is your point? That the fact that this man wasn't wearing bell bottoms proves this is a fake? Nah. If a few less fashion-savvy folks were wearing bell bottoms then, that certainly doesn't mean it's a fraud now, does it?

How do I know my memory is correct?

Way back in the 1970s I was an actress. And I worked at a theater kind of full time then, but I got a job making commercials for a department store. Like a little female "spokesperson." I made a big $200. So I'd go and change clothes all day and say, look at these clothes, they cost this much.... And the jeans I put on were straight legged, and I was surprised, because I was still wearing bell bottoms. Well, gee, I hadn't bought any new jeans in years, I guess.

So I looked around, and, yes, people were wearing straight legged jeans. I mean, just your average normal everyday people.

And that was a couple of years before I ended up in New York City, which was in 1979 at the latest.

So you can't convince me that wearing straight legged pants in 1980 means this is a fake.

Now, it could certainly still be a fake. But not for that reason. f

And I can't find that post #14 in this thread by BestLion. I find one by Whitefeather. Am I doing something wrong?
