Default Dr. Paul LaViolette's Super Wave Theory- 2012

Dr. Paul LaViolette has done research by analyzing ice core samples in Greenland and Antarctica. In these samples he has found evidence for geologic periods where cosmic dust was abundant in our atmosphere. He speculates that this dust in the ice samples was put there due to massive radiation that is emitted from the galactic center. Astrophysicist have observed massive gamma wave burst being emitted from distant galaxies and he believes that our own galactic center is likely creating similar outburst.

On 21 Dec 2012, 11:11 AM Universal Time (also known as Zero Time Point), our Sun and our planet will be at perfect alignment with the Galactic center.
On the same day, if we consider that everything stays “by default” or on the same track, our Sun will be at its solar maximum, and the ecliptic of our solar system will intersect with the Galactic plane, which also is called the "Galactic Equator" of the Milky Way!

LaViolette envisioned a large solar flare or coronal mass ejection (CME) that would become magnetically entrapped in the Earth's magnetosphere [2]. The magnetosphere would then hold on to this fireball of radiation like a magnetic thermos bottle, allowing the Moon and Earth to be exposed for a duration of time long enough to really "flash bake" their surfaces.

The radiation from such a burst would not be observable until it had reached our planet due to the fact that this radiation travels at the same speed as light. Radiation emitted from the galactic center (galactic super wave) would take tens of thousands of years to reach earth and would appear as a bright blue star in sky, both day and night.

Dr. Paul LaViolette believes these events have been occurring more or less in periodic intervals in this planets history. He further speculates that the ancients had lived through these periods and have encoded a warning into our astrological and metaphorical lore. He thinks that it's possible that the ancients predicted a Super Wave burst of radiation from the galactic center may reach us at the year 2012.

The surprising findings of LaViolette, supported by other research, suggests that the extreme solar event corresponded to powerful radiation coming from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy and was associated with gamma rays and cosmic dust. Recent observations have shown a dramatic increase in gamma ray energy in the Galaxy's equator which will be in maximum alignment with our solar system on December 12, 2012. The past records in ice cores (strata from 13,880 to 13,785 BCE) suggest that intense radiation from this last event could have lasted many years. It seems highly likely that this alignment will cause another extreme solar event since other factors precipitating a "solar maximum" (i.e. the opposition of major planetary barycenters) also converge on this exact date.

    LaViolette... in his own words
Question: Would you please prepare number (range of years) that represents the statistically most significant window for the next galactic center energy burst, based upon observed historical data.

Dr. Paul LaViolette: A conservative guess would be that there is a 90% chance that a superwave will arrive in the next four centuries. I cannot rule out the possibility that one might arrive around the time of the Mayan calendar end date of 2012, as some proclaim. And others have felt that a catastrophic event might occur even sooner. It is just that investigations of the Galactic center mass (Sagittarius A) show that the core continues in its present quiescent state. Whether this present tranquil state will without warning come to a sudden end, I cannot say.

All we can do at present is talk of future probabilities by looking at what has happened in the past. A study of the past shows that we are overdue for a small event, one similar to the bursts that resulted in the 14 gas expulsions which issued from the Galactic center over the past 5300 years. It has been 700 years since the last event and on only two occasions was there a time lapse between events longer than this. Whether the next event will be a small superwave event (Magnitude 1 event) or a much larger climatically significant event (Magnitude 3 or 4 event) is difficult to say.

In referring to past events, it helps to use a magnitude scale as is used in describing the strengths of earthquakes and tornadoes. However, since we do not have real time data, such a scale is understandably very qualitative. We might rank the severity of Galactic superwaves as given below.

    Galactic Superwave Event Ranking

    Magnitude 1:
A superwave cosmic ray burst that is not detectable above cosmic background levels but which carries a gamma ray burst and gravity wave pulse at its forefront. This would likely produce seismic and EMP effects much stronger than the December 2004 earthquake and gamma ray burst.

Magnitude 2: A short duration superwave cosmic ray burst that produces a moderate increase above cosmic background levels and a minor climatic disturbance. This would be similar to the events that occurred around 5300 years ago which produced approximately a 50% increase in the cosmic ray background over a period of about one to two hundred years. This resulted in some temporary climatic change such as blizzards, but was not severe enough to perturb climate from its present interglacial phase.

Magnitude 3: A long duration superwave cosmic ray burst that produces a major increase in the cosmic ray background level, doubling the background level, lasting several hundred to a thousand years, and injecting interstellar dust in sufficient quantities to destabilize climate initiating a period of glacial growth. Examples would be the events that initiated glacial stage 5-d about 110,000 years ago or stage 4 about 70,000 years ago.

    Magnitude 4:
A much longer duration superwave cosmic ray burst capable of increasing the cosmic ray levels 2 to 4 fold above the background level and lasting several thousand years, with dust injection into the solar system maintained long enough to activate the Sun into a state of excessive flare activity. Such an event would induce climatic effects more extreme than a Magnitude 3 superwave, sufficient to initiate a global warming period that would terminate an ice age or induce an interstadial. Examples would be the superwave events that ended the Illinoisan glaciation (stage 6) about 130,000 - 140,000 years ago or ended the Wisconsin ice age about 16,000 - 10,000 years ago, the more recent precipitating the Pleistocene extinction. Another event around 34,000 - 37,000 years ago [11] occurred around the time of the demise of Neanderthal Man.

HOW DID DR.PAUL SUCCEEDED TO CONNECT THE DOTS ?
The discovery of the Dr. Paul LaViolette had echoed deep in the scientific community. Despite the fact that it causes huge amount of controversy and disagreements, he succeed to reject all the attacks to his claims because there were based on pure scientific facts with a huge backup of material evidence.

To have different opinions from the one in the mainstream science and in the same time to stay highly respected in the scientific elite, can work only in one case – if it a case of a genius who has courage and will to look and analyze where the mainstream had stopped looking for a long time or that is already researched thermally and no other scanning on checking is necessary.

But the genius of this man is extraordinary and he often founds more and more parts of the puzzle that are missing so he can see the big picture.

When he was asked how he did it, he said that simple he knew where to look.

He has more info to the subject and if he is right, well... Let's just say that Earth will be quite different in a year.

And no, it's not the end of the world. Or maybe only to the negative elite.

Dr LaViolette is the man, but I prefer to look to the theory that because of the oblique angle of a galactic center ejection or pending supernova explosion that the effect on the Earth would be easily survivable if not negligible (without lights for a few hours).
