...I ask myself: why is he being allowed to do this, after so much suppression of "free energy"...
    ...
Perhaps he's being allowed to fail? Perhaps his cold fusion works, but not at the high volume, low cost, retail consumer level that he anticipates so soon. Perhaps he will substantially fail to deliver on the expectations he is currently setting. Perhaps this failure will be used to discredit the underlying physics of cold fusion ... yet again.
    Some possible guesses:
    • It is a heater, not an electric generator, and especially not zero point technology.
    • Cold fusion has (I believe) no weaponization possibility, whereas zero point technology probably is fully weaponized by the brown hats*, so at least the military faction of suppression is not so worried about cold fusion coming out.
    • No adjunct anti-gravity technology (that would become evident with zero point.)
    • As of right now, this heater cannot immediately be linked to a generator to create electricity (not hot enough to make steam fast enough?), and so does not impact the internal combustion engine, nor does it (alone) allow someone to go completely off-grid.
    • Perhaps the brown hat scientists have ascertained that the unit does not scale down well, and therefore this very affordable size and price-point will never be able to muster the oomph required for making electricity - thus the threat is minimal. (Noted is the reality of the hell that was dished-out to Dennis Lee for a heater - super efficient heat pump - so the Powers That Ain't What They Used To Be have either decided to give up suppressing the home heater alternative energy market, or, as you suggest, they have reason to believe that there will be problems with the e-cat units (unlike the heat-pump units sold by Dennis Lee, which proved to work very well.)

*("brown hats" as opposed to "black hats": Black hats are our traditional, evil overlords - in the shadows. Brown hats earn their title the same way as a sycophant brown-noser does: by proximity to the discharge end of a black hat.)

I see a future with out a petro dollar, there is no longer a need to keep "fossil" fuels as a matter of national security when there is no more global "petro dollar"

to me, this is honestly the most plausable / probable, as the US is the greatest enforcer in the world & has run the world economy (more or less) for years.. when we transition away from taxing the globe via our currency we no longer have to viciously protect what backed that currency (this included suppressing competitive engergy sources to ensure oil's spot in the lime light).

This is what clicked in my head when thinking about the topic...

Oh & while this Gen1 won't be able to directly produce heat.... there are things like this in the works that will REALLY change the game when combined with the E-cat......

    Hi Etherios,

Perhaps if I knew more about science the details would intrigue me and I might see this differently. For me the energy needed by anyone to do anything during routine life should simply be completely free and endlessly available. When prices are the main idea I'm just not impressed. Money leads to the same place as now. Who gets the twenty dollars? What if they change their mind and want fifty? What if they make a deal with X for five dollars if they just do Y? And so on....

Science on how this particular machine works:
    http://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...-video-series-

    Summary:

    The Catalyst:
Paladium (spesifically enriched paladium) has a latice structure of about 50nm between atoms, which is PERFECT for "cool" fusion (the reaction is happening at like 500* instead of 5,000,000*).

its very simple and a viable way for energy to become VERY cheap.. though it is NOT "zero point" or anything like that.. so it is still a stepping point IMO.. but a snowball has to start somewhere

I'll believe it when I see it.
