Yeah, It happened in 1977, in England. This broadcast interupted the main evening news. An "impossibility" in those days as the average joe simply did not have access to such powerful transmitters, more powerful then ITN's. Quite a powerful message.

If it happened, why are we just hearing about it now? I figure it would be more widely-known outside of the U.K.

Also, a similar incident happened in the U.S but it didn't involve aliens, but rather a practical joker that somehow hijacked a station signal.

The Winter 1977 Fortean Times (issue #24) [15] featured a transcript of what they described as the 'short message' that was broadcast:

"This is the voice of Asteron. I am an authorised representative of the Intergalactic Mission, and I have a message for the planet Earth. We are beginning to enter the period of Aquarius and there are many corrections which have to be made by Earth people. All your weapons of evil must be destroyed. You have only a short time to live to learn to live together in peace. You must live in peace... or leave the galaxy."

The Fortean Times article went on to criticise reports of the incident in other newspapers.

"Inexplicably the News Of The World and D. Mail call the owner of the voice 'Gillon, of the Ashdown Galactic Command' and that he said: "Unless the weapons of Earth are laid down, destruction from outer space invasion will quickly follow." I hope their regular news reportage is more accurate than that, for the indication is that they've simply invented a more shocking message."

Whatever Even the fortean times article was wrong, the message was much longer - assuming the audio in the YT vid was the real deal.

If it was a hoax, it was certainly elaborate.

And even if the speaker spoke the Queen's English, that wouldn't matter as they would have to speak in a manner where people could understand them. Speaking in an alien language would only bore people and they'd just put the TV on mute!

I've been awake for most of my life so that's not an issue for me.

While I'm not a doomsdayer per se, when you look at all the evidence of just the earth/universe history there are some very real and serious possibilities for bad news...

I'm much more negative about the state of the state and less optimistic for the future of the planet, especially the U.S., with so many sheeple still asleep.

I believe that whatever is happening most people will be blindsided and steamrolled, then will have no idea or understanding of what happened.

That aspect sadly acknowledged, I do believe this period is the best time in all of human history to be alive if you're awake.

It's very surreal to be in this position, fully prepared, eyes wide open and waiting.

I'm just really looking forward to whatever happens...

If I think in respect to the philosophy of this reality only possible option would be doom & gloom (between two of them).
Do you imagine yourself in a mass awaken world? Will you still be able to improve yourself spiritually? Unfortunately I think we constantly need a challenge. Doom would be a huge one.

Mass awakening is a kind of bypass (in this respect). Therefore everybody wishes it.

But I believe nothing will happen.

Right now as we type and read, everyone across the planet is being exposed to high enough frequencies to purge out old emotional baggage. Most of this emotional baggage is from this life and others before it. We can allow these things to be removed from our consciousness for us so long as we are ready to forgive them. Or we can refuse to let go of them and push them back in when they are moving out. If we do the latter then it will not turn out to good for us. This is the process that has already started in regards to the ascension. Everyone is feeling it, however not everyone is willing to accept it. That is what will determine who goes where.

I'm of the opinion that the 2012 ascension and the 2012 armageddon predictions are just distractions. I don't see why we, as a planet, get a "free pass" to leave the mess we created, nor do I see why the entire planet is going to be destroyed come the winter solstice of 2012.

Now, I do believe that we are up for some very strong changes in the near future, somewhere around 2012; but I do not believe these changes will end humanity. I believe they are necessary, as we are living in a system that allows for far too much destruction of both each other and our environment. Change needs to happen, and it's quite possible that whatever happens in the next several years will be the catalyst for a growth in consciousness.

So, I guess we're all sort of right, then, yes?

I see awakening happening all around, one person at a time. I know children who were born able to see much more than I can. It's may not be a fast process, but I think it's unstoppable. The 2012 date has no particular significance in this process.

I had my first full 'birth to death' past life recall when i was 12, and was tested on prediction and other phenomena when I was 6, so I've been at this a long time. I gotta say it was a bizarre experience to wake up as a 12 year old kid after dying as an old alien 'gray' type (weak star, blue light, commune-like lifestyle) after a long and frustrating life.

As for doom and 2012, I've looked ahead and found a disaster earth but not a soul in it, so I think at least in my particular understanding (all our individual visions are flavored by the emotional underpinnings of our given ego function) , we've moved off of the current most disastrous outcome timeline.

Don't worry. We'll have a new disaster timeline next week to freak out about.

I think all this 'going to a higher spiritual plane-new dimension etc..is wishful thinking! Sillyness! Mankind is devolving!And has been for the past 6,000 yrs of written civilization. Just look what we have done in the past 100 years.. We had man-made famines that killed up to 70,00,000 people, 2 world wars that killed over 100,000,000 million people. We set off nucs, have been draining the earth of coal, oil,and anything we can get at an astonishing rate. We as mankind have become ultra-materialistic and selfish. And yet we have people here thinking the earth and cosmos will reward us with a new spirit and enlightenment... Therefore I take the other option..if mother nature gives mankind anything it will be worse then what she gave Atlantis! Also note Atlantians were more spiritual then modern man is today..and look what mother nature gave them!
All this higher dimension stuff is a new age teaching of the age of Aquarius..universal love etc..a utopia..Well nice wishful thining..aint gonna to happen!

Hey Bestlion, I hate to agree with you on this but, I can't argue with the way you see it.

I will keep my options open for good outcome and a as smooth of a transition as possible.

After all we have lived through, we are supposed to focus on the positive, and spread Light and Love for our reward of ascension. lol

I feel like i have awakened but, I am less confident about the vast majority of mankind. Oh s**t, I did it again those negative thoughts keep popping into my head when I am supposed to be focusing on the positive.

Oh well, guess I am still getting the hang of earning my ascension.
