Default Trying to find previous thread about Recycling of spent fuel in nuclear plant

I'm trying to find this information that was posted a few weeks back. Does anyone remember reading a thread that described a method of reusing spent fuel from a nuclear plant. I think it mentioned that once used, it's then chemically processed, and reused I think about 4 or 5 times. After, the end product is almost non-radioactive.
If I remember correctly, the idea was designed by the man that drew up the plans for the nuclear reactors back in the Carter days, but it was never adopted for some reason.
Anyway, I'd appreciate it if someone with a good memory could help me out.

    Thanks,

Sorry folks, I found the info; my mistake. The info I read was most likely linked from one of the Avalon Forum thread, and I had thought I read it here.
