Default Best movie I seen so far, this year........

After failing to kill himself by jumping off a bridge, the man is washed up on a deserted island in the middle of the river, but within view of the city's high-rises. He attempts to escape, but soon accepts his fate and the challenges in living on the island. A reclusive young woman, who takes close-up shots of the moon and has not left her apartment in years, spies him on the island and comes to think of him as her own alien.

It is indeed an amazing movie. South Korea truly has an "eye" for cinematography, Hollywood should learn from them

Best movie for sure. I absolutely love it.

Kind of reminds me of Citizen Kane, but with everything turned upside down, and set in today's time -- well, make that five years into the future.

8 great post! I watched the movie. Lots of similarities to the movie Castaway. One of my favorite movies. Makes you want to get out of the ratrace. And in the end, no I won't spoil it for others.

What is the name of the movie?

I saw a remarkable Korean movie, named Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Fantastic! Most beautiful movie ever. Simple story, but amazing film.

Makes you think about how easy it can be for some people to lose their way in life and become homeless.
    Much enjoyed

The Koreans make very good movies. Most of them are about crimes and clumsy police officers, but some of them are really beautiful!!! I guess I´ve watched most of them, since I´m a big fan of non-hollywood movies.

Thanks for the tip! I´ve already downloaded this one and I´m going to watch this weekend!

    Cheers,

    Raf.
