I had these really bad a few years ago on my right hand nearly all the way down the index finger (people noticed them often) and quite a few on the ring finger, I never really sought treatment for them but bought some blueberry bushes and spent quite a bit of time planting them up in large pots which involved having my hands in ericaceous (acid+) soil for quite a while (after a while your hands will start to tingle and then burn slightly) and a few days later they had vanished and have never returned. I had them that long I nearly named them, I can nearly remember where everyone was! I don't think mine were due to low immunity though I must say.
