Default Canadian Government taking a step backwards on the Environment

Hey peeps, just some terrible information regarding the Canadian front and the environment. I know some of you in the states may be used to this, but I thought us Canadians faired a tad better. Sadly we seem to be taking a step backwards.

    Here's some food for thought.

I was listening to Sonia from the truther girls and she was saying that Canada is the guinea pig for everything.

She's on the case and spot on, as far it goes. I'm slightly disturbed by the smile on her face and how very "tactful" she is being, though. The issue is more about executive authority than is is about any single issue political cause. The rise of single issue politics has driven the dodgy executive crowd onto an offensive. They are now turning "power" itself into a single issue and selling it through the media spin machine as "responsibility". They are betting everything they've got on the masses turning against argumentation in politics generally, and sidelining as much or all they can of the opposition into a holding position to await a more destructive fate if they can pull off this first phase of the attack.

Well, they are gonna have to start cutting something to follow through on their G20 promises - and I'm betting they won't start with oil company subsidies:

Ummmmmmmm... I never said anything of the like. Please don't go assuming such things.

I was meaning that our government wasn't as totally twisted as our American counterparts. However it seems almost daily that its quite the opposite. Its the kind of crap that makes you want to join the secret service just to infiltrate within and 'do something' about these people.

I'm in Burnaby myself and agree, but sadly I don't think it will matter who we get, its all the same oat bag.
