Default Well bust my dental floss ...

New one on me (and yes Margaret ... I had a root canal)

Posted By Dr. Mercola | February 18 2012

Do you have a chronic degenerative disease? If so, have you been told, "It's all in your head?"

Well, that might not be that far from the truth… the root cause of your illness may be in your mouth.

There is a common dental procedure that nearly every dentist will tell you is completely safe, despite the fact that scientists have been warning of its dangers for more than 100 years.

Every day in the United States alone, 41,000 of these dental procedures are performed on patients who believe they are safely and permanently fixing their problem.

    What is this dental procedure?

    The root canal.

More than 25 million root canals are performed every year in this country.

Root-canaled teeth are essentially "dead" teeth that can become silent incubators for highly toxic anaerobic bacteria that can, under certain conditions, make their way into your bloodstream to cause a number of serious medical conditions—many not appearing until decades later.

Most of these toxic teeth feel and look fine for many years, which make their role in systemic disease even harder to trace back.

Sadly, the vast majority of dentists are oblivious to the serious potential health risks they are exposing their patients to, risks that persist for the rest of their patients' lives. The American Dental Association claims root canals have been proven safe, but they have NO published data or actual research to substantiate this claim.

Add Mercury into the equation, and what have you got, a nice little bomb inside your gob, insidiously leaking one of the most toxic substances on Earth into your nervous system, great !!

I've often contemplated having my (mercury) root-filled tooth removed, but not sure if that would cause even more problems. Maybe I'll just let myself go insane instead (half way there already !!)

I was told years ago that nearly 100% of breast cancer patients have a history of root canal.

Good thing is, if you have had one, you can have it removed and it considerably helps your chances of not getting cancer. I'd also take HIGH (25-50 gram) dose vitamin C daily pre, during and post root canal removal. The removal will release a lot of stuff into your bloodstream and you want heavy duty antioxidants to assist your body in fighting it.

For mercury teeth find a non-mercury dentist to do it... loads of shows discussing mercury available here and SAFE ways to remove them... and also issues with root canals too...

I had loads of mercury filling removed in 2008 which I documented on the old PA forum. I also posted some info on this thread...

I had a root canal done last year. I have had a few infections since then and the root canal is coming out today along with the tooth. I am nervous about the procedure because the oral surgeon is going to put in a snap of some sort for an implant. I hate the dentist. May I ask anyone who could spare a moment to wish me well and send some positive thoughts? My procedure starts in an hour.

    Thanks,

The trouble of course with this kind of stat is that it is too general: you can always say 100% of cancer victims drank tap water in large quantities or whatever.

Holistic dentists flood the cavity with ozone to kill any bacteria. The issue is blood supply. If not killed at the time of surgery the bacteria migrate into extremely tiny tubes under the tooth. Very little blood supply, so anti-biotics can't affect them. The ozone seeps into these areas easily.

I wondered the same thing ... maybe it is not profitable enough, so you dont see it out in the open... or maybe the holistic part is to take care of your teeth well enough to not NEED a dentist??

    MMS!

Use it regularly, and... use it with a waterpik.

    Makes a big difference.

About 6 drops, then add into about 8 oz of distilled water, and run that through the waterpik, get it deep into the gums, into the root area, kill that bacteria.

    I ~think~ I already reported this cancer/root canal correlation? maybe....maybe not.

    Jim Humble :
The story behind Miracle Mineral Supplement

    Sasbachwalden, Germany, November 2008

Aerospace engineer Jim Humble's third career started accidentally while on a gold prospecting trip in the jungle of Venezuela. There, using stabilized oxygen, he improvised an effective remedy for his colleagues who were stricken with malaria. As curious as he had always been in his life, he returned to his native US and wondered why the cure had worked so well.

The answers to his own questions led him to the development of a more powerful form of oxygen therapy, chlorine dioxide, which he called Miracle Mineral Supplement. With a mission to help the human race whatever he did, Jim made it widely available in the form of sodium chlorite which the user 'activated' by adding lemon juice or vinegar - and medical teams conducted 100,000 research trials in Africa where it was found that MMS would frequently relieve the symptoms of malaria in as little as four hours.

In this 75 minute interview, Jim talks with Project Camelot's Bill Ryan about his life and work. Charming, engaging and passionate, Jim reveals his most interesting background in aerospace and mining engineering - careers few users of MMS will be aware of - and then goes into detail about how MMS works, his experience successfully treating not only malaria but hepatitis, cancer and AIDS, and his personal spiritual and philosophical perspective on everything he does.

    • During the interview, we have discovered that orbs were captured by one of the photographers, Christian Köhlert. In the final group photo, one orb is large and vivid. In another one, most remarkably, orbs are shown at the mouths of both Bill and Jim simultaneously. We claim no explanation for this, and present the images for their curiosity value. Click on the two thumbnails for high resolution images.

    2 questions come to mind

    1) If there is so little blood supply that antibiotics can't reach the bacteria, then how do the bacteria, or toxins thereby produced, spread out to the rest of the body?

    2) if the root filled tooth is a cause of such toxicity, why doesn't the body reject it? ie cause it to fall out?
