Thumbs up The foundation of every state is the education of its youth.

    Hi all,

Id like to share this video with you. Is from a school parade in the Greek city of Ioannina. These kind of parades are held traditionally every year in that city (and in Greece in general) and the pupils are supposed to march [in an admittedly militaristic way] and while crossing from the deck where the officials sit (politicians, priests, businessmen and all that crap), they have to turn their face towards them as a demonstration of respect and honor.

In this video all kids from all schools turn their faces in the opposite direction as a demonstration of disrespect to them. At around 1:00 there is a group which even extends their hands with an open palm, which is a very offensive hand sign in the Greek culture.

I hope when this kids grow up will remember what they did and why.

    Enjoy!

Youth, which is forgiven everything, forgives itself nothing: age, which forgives itself everything, is forgiven nothing.
