I thought an inspiring story would be good for the soul, as the "what's wrong in the world" stories get very tiring, and I know that I could use a "what's right in the world" story to balance things out a bit - and thought others might enjoy this as well. It's not all bad - and most of the time it is only our perspective that needs to change.

Wow, I absolutely loved this. My grandfather was 105 when he passed and our great grandmother a few months short of 107. They were both very independent and believed in hard work. Thank you Horizons

Wow! What a lady!

She reminds me of the movie 'La Vita è Bella', about a sheer optimist. He and his family got caught in a concentration camp. In order to survive he uses his wit and optimism.
