Default Virtual Tours of Vatican Art

Wasn't sure where to post this.... I hope this is OK.

If you would like to see The Cistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, St. Paul's Basilica or the St. John.....

Translated from my Italian friend's e-mail....

"The students at Villanova University of Pennsylvania worked (on this) for 2 years using a high tech motorized camera with 3D resolution..."

    Enjoy...or maybe... happy hunting....lol

PS: to move around in the virtual environs, press the left side button on your mouse and drag in any direction or use the directional buttons on your keyboard ( I think).

Finished looking at St. Paul Ouside the Walls. Now I'm sorry we didn't visit that one on our last trip to Rome. Thanks, Morning Song. The others will be a "trip down memory lane"! The technology is impressive. Not only 360 degrees but ceiling and floor also. Better viewing than stuck behind hundreds of tourists in the Vatican. And no sore feet!

I hope you did visit San Clemente?
I am asking because it is my favourite church in Rome.

What else could anyone ask for? :-)

    That is awesome.

I would love to see something similar done at Rosslyn Chapel. Thanks!
