That is strange when the guy said that it looked like an umbilical cord. In my previous comment I said that is what it looked like to me, but it was only a joke. I still think it looks like a portal, and that's not a joke

It definately looks like a umbilical chord, i totally agree. That's some weird sh/t. How can a craft that close to the sun, not burn up. Some hi tech alien metal perhaps.

has anyone got any hindsight as to what this thing could've been? everywhere i go for info never has a conclusive answer.

my theory as to what it can be? the entity seems to have a life of its own and that black thread moves naturally once its had its feed and flys away, it could be a ufo but does ufo vehicles move like a living entity? this hing gives off a negative vibe and i don't like it, since it was recorded and it flew away it has never been seen again, from what people have seen that black entity had been there a while before it flew off, where did it come from? did it magically appear from no where or did people record it floating up to the sun? so many questions and not enough answers.

i don't why people are not taking things like this seriously, yes we fear it and the unknown but we always have to ask questions and find out why it is doing this.

Judging from it's apparent diameter, this thing would be about the size of the planet Jupiter, or bigger. More than that, it is able to remain 'cloaked'... perhaps in another 'dimension'. Think about the amount of energy that this thing can accumulate (and Use) to 'do something'. Great Information!

An object this size could Envelope Earth... with room to spare! However, this is only the Earth's 'physical matter' we speak about when we describe our planet's size. In Truth, our planet is Much Bigger than we know (or are told about). There are 'levels and dimensions' of our world that have been deliberately withheld from our knowledge.

Now... if one were desirous of changing a planet's inhabitant's focus and mindset... the Collective Mind/Aura, how would one go about this task? Would not the planet's Aura Also need an 'upgrade'?

I'll simply leave this idea as food for thought.

According to thesuntoday.org, one of NASA's solar experts posted a video which gives a very good explanation of what this was.

In Alex Young's analysis at NASA's Goddard Spaceflight Center, this is what is seen when looking directly into a solar prominence/filament, down into a solar cavity. In this video, he gives a rational explanation of what is going-on here:

Dr. Young's explanation fits right into the Electric Universe template. This filament, or prominence is a plasma discharge. Something one would find only in an electric phenomenon.
