    Mad Hatter selects pathway...

then puts in some practice at pre-cognisent obstacle recognition

Heads for the pub with both tacho and speedo pointing at Made in Japan...

Upon arrival at the pub issues a change of underwear for the unsuspecting passengers...

Orders a round of 'nangs' for the bar and slips a track onto the jukebox as a challenge for the belly dancers...

After a pan galatic (or three) suddenly remembers how the bar came to be where it is at the end of this universe!!

Twas a similar scene many many many moons ago...

After having imbibed more than usual I was attempting to light up a peace pipe

unfortunately a little to close to the rear end of a wookie with a flatulence problem

the upshot of this was what is now commonly referred to as the 'big bang' and hence the subsequent re location of this pub to its present location...

I must say I do like the improvement on the decor.

PS I promise the current owner I will only light up the peace pipe outside!!

I was wondering how could it be that we have not gathered more regular Pub patrons ... and it dawned on me we are too far off the beaten path here at the End of the Universe.
A plausible hypothesis Calz, but I rather imagine that it may be the lack of entertainment in the PATEOTU that could be keeping the crowds away. I mean, honestly, your Britney Spears routine is wearing a bit thin!

Soooooo, at great personal expense, I have acquired a jukebok!

What do you reckon? Genuine 1978 model!

The salesdude I bought it off said that it's still got the original music on it, but all the titles are missing, so it's gonna be a game of chance as to what we get.

I'll go first.......... (crosses fingers in anticipation of a memorable tune from 1978; Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" perhaps, or maybe "Miss You" from the Rolling Stones)

OK, here I go................B42 it is!

Oh well!!! Better luck next time perhaps (with apologies to those that are fans of The Floaters)

Fortunately, all patrons of The Pub are able to reprogram this baby simply by posting a favourite tune. So get to it!

Time is no obstruction, anyone can meet up tomorrow from yesterday and today and tomorrow, or yesterday from tomorrow and today.

Last night, there towards the end, there was a dome enclosure with a circular yard, and I'd gone inside where most of the adults were, as all the children were being taught the energetic manipulation of matter, levitating objects with their energy. After watching them for a short while, I commented to one of the other adults inside "that's nothing like what we had to do when we were kids".
The above post is either satire or parody.
    It is entirely fictitious.

Taking advantage of my "weekend" days off to scour the Universe for some quality acts to upgrade the entertainment. Fortunately for the Pub I have a very understanding family.

Trying to work in a few new wrinkles with Britney. I see the crowd grows weary of the hair cutting act so having a look at others.

thank 'ee, it's one of the American movies that actually make me laugh. :D

(Not as much as Withnail and I though, because British humour is definitely much more my cup of tea. )

The gathered revellers will be heartily enthused to know that I am now heroically restraining my Self from posting a flurry of 80's music youtube clips! What does it say when all of one's children know the complete lyrics to Shock Treatment and are prepared to discuss why it's musically a far better film than Rocky Horror? I don't know what it says, but it's fun listening to them singing when they get together. :D

What an awesome addition to the Pub- yes, we now have one. Without all the background traffic noise though. Here's the entrance-

Default Re: Welcome to The Pub At the End of the Universe.

So last night's excursion was hijacked by yet another attack from the mindvirus; it was productive and I progressed further in my experience and perspective on what's going on between my Self and the elements of the virus that get expressed around me. I got an email this morning asking me in part about what I mean when I'm talking about the virus- I'm having to take off for half a day and Do things, so I shall be taking my lappie with me and writing up some of these things that I've been putting together. I think I'll start them as threads in the Main Zoo area and link them onto the Welcome to the Pub post on the front page.

It's been difficult this past year with the mindvirus switching tactics and using booby traps in my body to wreak havoc; it's taken me awhile to come to grips with it (and many, many nights of little sleep and pacing the hallway for hours while I endeavoured to calm the internal raging storm). These days I am getting a lot of 'off/outworld' support with the process and I'm repairing the physical damage with a variety of modalities and approaches- high grade essential oils ingested are working wonders and I'm able to really work with the embodied energies within them. Vibrational modalities work best with me as most herbal or other remedies tend to be like hitting a mosquito with a nuclear bomb, I simply don't need things to be as heavy handed as when working with a more human based DNA- I've had therapists remark about that before and it took an excellent kinesiologist to twig that he wasn't working on a human, which he took with little surprise whatsoever, but then again this was a Being who would make 'Fairy' homeopathic remedy by leaving the mix out in his garden to be worked on by the garden divas, so.... :D

I'm feeling better this morning, although the episodes can leave me feeling like I've been run over by SWHS, so I'm taking this as a Postive Sign that things are improving. :D I have Things To Write so that I have Things I Can Post so that I can have Interesting Things To Discuss!

And I shall away with something from a website that I love- for all those who may not have been introduced to Superdickery...

Yep, that's right, even Wonder Woman and her mother are working for the Cabal.

    *And* they're into bondage.

Although if you want some true mirth, try looking up Batman and his boner...

    Dear SFTOK,

May I politely suggest that you reconsider your heroic self restraint, as until the jukebox is loaded with more pallatable offerings, I shall, on occasion, continue to press random selections from 1978.

*staggers in through the door and faceplants onto a comfy cushion*

    *speaks with muffled voice*

I've been out all day slaving over a hot post and none of you started an intellectually sparkling and enticing conversation?

    Slackers!

    *laughing*

I'm currently creating a fabulous meal and I'm probably going to faceplant into bed after because it's been one of those days. I have, however, achieved monster post, will edit and upload tomorrow (if the world doesn't turn into a bowl of petunias, that is)

*hugs* to you all, so there!!

    I'm off to the Spa...

Mad Hatter............how's that for synchronicity? I hadn't even got it through the door, and you've already managed to get it crankin'!
    I did say
Quote practice at pre-cognisent obstacle recognition
so I knew something bulky was due to block the doorway for a bit...

Wiping the dribble from his chin while trying not to get caught ogling at the lithe forms of the belly dancers so easily taking the Neelix track in their stride Mad Hatter sidles up to the Jukebox in the hopes that it might actually contain a challenge for them circa 1978, crosses his fingers and deftly presses Z13...

with a slightly mischievous grin appearing on his face when realising the JukeBox was true to it's era he slides back to his previous stance as bar support sits back to await the general reaction to 4/4 5/8 timing.

Despite the particular track not being his 'cup of tea' in a feeble attempt to disguise his real focus he attempts to strike up an intelligent conversation with the inquisitive alien next to him...

This is awesome sauce. It deserves to be beamed over the top of every city by alien ships. :D So much concern about 'alien agendas' and 'they're coming to get us, Barbara!' when it's already all happening- and what is here in the forum? 'Vote for BLAHBLAH 2012!!! HE'LL be the one to save us all!!'

Oddly, the same hysterical rhetoric happened with the first Obama election. It's like slowly boiling a frog, really...
