We used to get them in the limestone rock around Clitheroe where I grew up. My grandfather took me to see them when I was a kid. You can see them in a lot of the rock built houses around there. Apparently they were like sea anenomes on stalks.

Fantastic news bite Jean...! truly amazing... score one for Richard Thompson and Michael Cremo... I think it's amusing that they immediately seize on the idea that it must be alien! (not very scientific by definition) ie. they must be desperate when they have to use 'alien intervention' in order to hide a possible 'human' existence on this planet from millions of years ago.. lol - if they are still online I would suggest you search the 'Mysterious Origins Of Man' Series, (if you can't find them, I downloaded them and put them on my 4shared... )
