Default CHALLENGE: Describe in One Sentence or Less

Describe in one sentence or less, on a topic that is meaningful to you.
Examples: Who are you? What is life? What is your belief? Philosophy? An Understanding? Goal?

A Goal: Willingness to dispel all that is unreal

PS Comments and kudos are welcomed for your fellow Avalonians. CHALLENGE keep them short as well.

Roman that's such a heartfelt story. I've book marked the threat and will check out other posts and links you provided. And for the record, I agree: I choose heart over intellect any day.

Willingness. Willingness for 'anything' is all it takes.

If this is an acceptable part of that same idea, I want to add commitment. Total commitment with no loopholes.

    Hello, Mark,

Man, I'm glad I don't own a shovel. I agree, and no shovel needed... Love your one liner. I think it's one of mine.

    Thanks,

You do too have a shovel. Or you can get one. That's what I mean.

Good eh? Three days in the tomb, three days of darkness. They used to seal Egyptian initiates in a tiny room underground with three days of air.

Literally suffocate the self identity. If you don't stay 'you' for very long, then the rest of the three days passes quite differently.

    I would suggest enjoyably.

It's a perfect win-win. Either way, that 'you' no longer is, and the "You" resurrects.

P.S. I own a tiny emergency shovel, so it would take 3 days just to dig the hole. (or hope for only tiny emergencies)

    It gets better;

The higher the value system or the greater the character of the initiate, the longer it takes for the ego to die. They don't really care about that, after three days it's settled one way or the other.

Hey now you want to be let off the hook because of a camping shovel. Maybe the extra time digging the hole would be the consolation of more time to think about whether you really know what you're doing.

I agree with "self-importance" takes longer to disappear. Buried three days - it's the red ants that worry me, unless, they share food.

Hey I think I get what they meant. Are you willing to dispel the untruth that it matters what we think and who we think we are?

A Master said to me once "there's nothing more insidious than a spiritualised identity".

I was just an ignorant frightened addict, so I wasn't sure what he was saying to me. And nothing I ever learned or ever had done had woken me up. I was actively f-ing up when that happened.

But he knew that I knew something, I think he was reassuring me.

I retain a little contact with a couple of users who I regard as far closer to God that any of the lightworkers or teachers that I know. Not to besmirch those people because they're my friends and associates in some sense.

But those junkies have absolutely nothing to lose. And they're more or just as lucid about where they are as anyone.

    Is this off topic?

It's not off topic if people are assisting others. Teacher becomes the Student so that Student becomes the Teacher.

Sometimes less is best. When others read what you've shared, they'll fill in the blanks. We all have unique puzzle pieces that we bring. We empower so they trust in their own journey's unfolding.
