    so they sued the police and won... ho hum...

    sorry for being sooooo cynical but the quiet form letter still smacks of sweeping it under the rug... no troops marching up to the door (like they did in their raiding party) so the neighbors can witness the remorse...

    BUT it is good that you posted it here... show us the tide is turning?

    How many times does such a thing happen, though? None that I can think of.
    How many times have the police broken into a home, tore it to shreds only to find out it was the wrong address? No apologies. No reparations. Nothing. I'm thinking this person was very fortunate. And they even got it in writing. I'm impressed.

    Me thinks that Det. Ch. Supt. Paul Rickett also has a certain correlating view.

    I can just imagine this as a response to some budget cuts or other such thing
