Default Is WWF just a fraud?

I wonder, is WWF just a fraud, or do they do anything that
could be said to be a support for anything living on this
planet? Having seen videos showing that WWF buy large
areas in Indonesia, letting other companies take down the
rainforrest and plant GMO-manipulated oil palms where
this rainforrest were that we thought they should save.
And when we stand at the supermarket buying cheap
stearine candles for christmas we dont realize that they are
made from palm oil from those companies, produced from
those areas. So when we buy those candles we support the
deforrestation that we thought we prevented by giving money
    to the WWF.

A couple of years back they had a campain about saving the
polar bears. Do anyone here know if they have done anything
with that money to save any polar bears, ie have they done
anything that has had any effect on the climate change at all?
Or is WWF just another money making machine and nothing
    else? I wanna know.

Good question. I have never heard of anything being done for polar bears, since the main problem is melting of the ice they use as a platform for fishing - no platfom, no food, and the melting of the Artic permafrost. How could they help?

Should have heard of it, I am Canadian, and no... nothing.

Thanks Jorr lundstrom, I made a Google search, here is the WWF website, and also their Roadmap for a living Planet, look great, but I wonder, as you know when a non profit organisation develop, a lot of money is put in administrative work and less on project, so I wonder if they are at this stage..?

    WWF Web site - http://wwf.panda.org/what_we_do/

    Roadmap for a living Planet - http://awsassets.panda.org/downloads...gn_off_fin.pdf

    All the best to you.

I think it is about getting the information out there to the people and monitoring the ice-caps and it probably pays for research into the bears and research in to what it is that is diminishing their numbers and finding out how we can help them.

Oh, when I was on Svalbard 2009, I visit the museum in Longyearbyn.
They showed a computorprogram showing how the icecap increased
and decreased from one year to another. This program was done by
the Max Planc Institute in Germany and showed the development since
the beginning of the 1900. So the icecaps are monitored.
In juli 2009 we could not get to Kung Karls Land (where most polar bears
in the world give birth to their cubs) with the icebreaker I
was onboard because the ice was too thick. It was a year of very much ice
and the polar bears didnt have any problem. The year AL Gores film
was made was a year of very little ice and the polar bears starved.
But when they show the ice situation from one of those years they
make people think that this is a constant sitation. Its a scam.
We saw 17 polar bears in 10 days. My daughter has been in the arctic
every summer the last 10 years and she has seen starving bears as
well as really prospering bears during this time.

How can it be that those living in the arctic dont view the polar
bear as endangered in any way? On Svalbard and the surrounding
archepelago there are around 2000 polar bears, depending on if
its a good year for them or not. LOL

    All is well

then the whole lets save the bears would be a scam?

You are in europe Jorr. HEre in CAnada this year has been the warmest ever - eeeever. I mean ever. It has been getting warmer and warmer since 2000 and now this winter started a good month late and spring arrived 2 months early - 3 months difference. This is never seen before. Something is happening for sure, may be poles shifting place, warming of climates, sun roasting CAnada more for some reason, but something is happening.

The permafrost has been melting for years and not recuperating, even the Inuit mention it.

In EUrope, it has been very cold this winter. It seems that Canada is now getting EUrope weather, humidiy apart.

    Here, the bears are starving.

So it may depend on which side of the pole they are living.

Nevertheless, the WWF may still be a scam.

I dk a thing about the WWF except that one day a friend of mine who is a bus driver phoned me because he was driving these people to their hotel. He was disgusted and shocked by the way they were talking in the bus because he understood WWF to be involved with wildlife preservation. At that time, my friend had no particular interest in animals; he was only disgusted that these people were representing themselves to be one thing and, in fact, being another. That was about 5 years ago.

the larger number of people out there have no idea on the moral and ethical concerns that may exist for the given company they work for, so the odds of them being able to look into or be willing to look into the murky depths of the WWF...well...the odds are low. Very low.

We'd all be better off taking cash, sending it to a person we really do know personally (directly), and then having that person take a plane to the problem location, and help people directly.

If any charity organization spends more then 20% of their received funds on any form of structure or maintenance of said structure, then..... in my life and thinking, they are frauds.

I'm not sure there is a global charity that spends less than about 40% (a number I heard once) of their received funds on their internal structure.

Yes.... Sadly, this is the state of the ASPCA. They spend small donations on throwing charity balls in hopes of attracting large donations. Or, calling and sending solicitation communications to donors weekly, if one is unfortunate enough to be in their database. Very sad.

Just do the back ground check it wont take long to join the dots on what a 'fraud' WWF is...here's a link to start with

http://wwf.panda.org/who_we_are/organization/trustees/ just click the links on the left get a bit of back ground on 'company'

And a link with not so good view of WWF

    http://www.fpcn-global.org/en/conten...t_programs_WWF

and i could go on but i think the individual should do their own 'looking and learning'

IMO the WWF is just another front for the shyte (ptb) running the show here

    much love

the WWF was founded by prince Bernhard. He was married to Queen Juliana of the Netherlands (house of Orange). He was also co-founder of the Bilderberg meetings where the house of Orange (Queen Beatrix) still has a prominent seat.
I've never done a background research to the WWF, but I would be very surprised if it isn't a fraud.

You beat me with the link to founder Bernhard. Imo that's the answer.
I haven't done research to the WWF too, but I think we can add the

Alot of organisations that say they're there to help people/animals are just money-grubbing-liars out to get money.

Classic example of this is the USA's "PETA" organisation (may have misspelt/named that organisation, but im sure you get who it is) that claim to be all for animal rights, yet euthanised close to 100% of all animals that were given to it to care for.

Can totaly tell they're all for the animals there, right!?

But at the same time, some of the smaller organisations, for example these two:

    http://littlepawskittenrescue.org.au/

    http://www.petswithoutpartners.org.au/

are genuine. I can vouch for both.

    You'll find a common trend...

Very big organisation - corrupt and full of lies

Very small, non "corporate" organisation, generaly the real deal.

Watch out for the "scam" ones tho, theres allways some .... @#$#@! thats out to steal money from you under false pretenses.

David Icke goes into the WWF in detail in his book 'The Biggest Secret', as well as many other organisations.

As soon as I read his book I cancelled my monthly WWF donations immediately.

I now put my energies into a 'hands-on' in local projects and activities; this allows me to see change occurring right on my doorstep. I know this is on a smaller scale, yet at least I know each little step is genuinely a step forward for our future.

An article about the funding of WWF by Royal Dutch Shell
and also about Greenpeace funded by Standard Oil. Other
two big examples of the fact that everything is upside down
    (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...676#post413676)

    "Infowars | April 13, 2012

    By Patrick Henningsen

If any person or group dares to question the great global warming and climate
change orthodoxy, green clerics will first attempt to discredit them – normally
by leaping across the table and pointing the finger of shame right in their face,
exclaiming, “You’re funded by Big Oil!”

That makes it all the more ironic when you consider who first funded, and later
ran the great global flag ship for the modern green movement…"

it's not a fraud. It's a foundation to preserve and maintain the hunting grounds of the wealthy elite, so the animals they like to hunt won't go extinct before they have their fill of hunting exotic animals.

Another self serving organization that people pay money to, in order to preserve the hunting life style of certain elite members.
