Default Origin of the Egyptian Atef Crown - Evidence of Ancient Brain Surgery

I would like to open a discussion about the Egyptian Atef Crown, it's origins which I believe are representations of the human brain, and the Hypocephalus Disks which were placed under the heads of mummies.

The intention of this thread is for people to add their opinions and ideas to what I have been researching, and perhaps expand upon the topic.

My full research paper can be seen here: http://www.egyptmysteries.org/

I have heard many theories about the Atef Crown, including it being symbolic of a white Lily, however as you'll see by the images on my site, it obviously has much deeper meanings.

Yesterday I was reading about the Pineal Gland, and some experiments that were done with DMT, which the gland is supposed to produce. It is my guess that during Tantric rituals the Kundalini Serpent/Sexual energy is channeled up the spine and into the hypothalamus region, where it is directed toward the pineal gland, which then excretes this hormone, creating an "awakening"

Obviously the Egyptian Pharaohs were very knowledgeable about the workings of the brain, and had adorned themselves with stylised representations of it.

The Ventral view of the brain shown here, normally has the Pituitary gland (round and red) sitting in the space you see. It would look exactly as the Egyptians have drawn it, as a red circle, and in the same place.

Interestingly, over the past few weeks I have emailed over 30 important institutions and people including the British Museum, Smithsonian and Cairo Museums, egyptologists, writers and authors, other researchers, well known personalities such as Zahi Hawass, and even people doing masters thesis on the topic, and I have not had even one reply...

Of great interest to me is why Tutankamun's headpiece contains two figures on the forehead, a snake and a buzzard. Other earlier Pharaohs and gods such as Akhenaten and Osiris are seen only with the centrally positioned snake on the forehead. Did Tutankhamun not fully understand the symbology of what this represented?

Thanks sdv...who knows, a sleepless night is often the gateway to inspiration..

I literally woke up with the Great Pyramid Dual Chamber diagram in my head after being awake for 36 hours straight when my son was born. Pyramids were the last thing on my mind...

Here is Osiris with the central singular snake motif on the forehead.

This image is interesting as it shows all of the elements of the Atef Crown, upon a figure with a sheep's head. On the Hypocephalus disks, there are usually two or four sheep's heads (mammals) positioned under the crown.

Still today, the two lobes in that exact same area of the brain are called the Mammalian Body.

Perhaps Tut did know and he was saying something specific by including the buzzard? Perhaps this is not a buzzard but a phoenix?

Hi Straker, thank you for your hard work. This is very interesting indeed.

Seeing the brain map comparing it to the egyptian drawings is quite simple but you need to be a great observer to notice it.

The bottles filled with water to create music and the gallery using it to communicate with other worlds is very possible.

    Quote Bottles and Water

If you've ever filled a series of bottles with water at different levels and used them as an instrument you can understand the principles behind tuning the Gallery. Perhaps the Pyramid is a giant crystal set, capable of receiving signals from far off planets.

Aren't they a cobra and a vulture? They were supposed to be symbols of divine authority and represent the two tutelary deities of Lower and Upper Egypt: Wadjet and Nekhbet.

    ADD

Nekhbet with the White Crown of Upper Egypt, and Wadjet with the Red Crown of Lower Egypt : Could be standing for the white Crown Chakra and the Red Base chakra. So for the power of Kundalini : )
