    Default I'm not a doctor...

...or a scientist for that matter, I've seen two threads, the first related to the pineal gland calcification via fluoride, the second related to sun glasses and I believe the pineal gland. WHAT IF "sun gazing" when the sun is "watchable" could help to "de-calcify" the pineal gland, and assist the opening of the third eye?

Today without the sun where would we be? So far in our evolution we know that father sun and mother earth plays important roles. The universe is unfolding and revealing constantly, know it and cherish it for it's splender.

we have been told to stay out of the sun, cover up, wear sunglasses, sunscreen (ie chemical bath)..........if you take it that most of what we are told is a lie, it stands to reason that the sun is actually good for us and this is why we are being scared away from it

    Some points to consider:

    - We, as creator beings, are not limited to discovery through the pineal gland. Other ways of 'seeing' such as: clairsentience, touch/feel; clairaudience, inner hearing/listening; claircongnizance, inner knowing. As the veil lifts/lifted (or gone for some), we discover that we have more aspects to ourselves, where it will be seen as ordinary part of our natural systems.

    - If one is able to clear and balance all the body chakras, why not the pineal gland? The combination of such things as meditations, use and development of the pineal gland, visualization, and preventions.

    - An increase of healing discoveries as more people wake up. This exponential energy fosters health solutions, techniques, machines all the way to perfect health which will be the new normal.

    - My guess-a-mation is with increasing, higher consciousness, the physical body is only part of the package. The more we ‘live’ in our total body system, i.e., beyond and including the basic chakras; the chakras above, below, and surround, then all the tools including pineal gland will work succinctly. (too, the chakras or points of accesses beyond the energy gateways that we have yet to discover, and so on, and so on)

    - Final guess-a-mation is that we are/will be discovering that we are Beings of Light, with far greater abilities than one pointed gateway of the pineal. Stages evolve from material body, to more etheric than material, and then light bodies into a syntheses of the Beings of Light. So the need for pineal gland may play as one part of the totality to “see”. Solutions present as a bundle of question/answer/materialization/dematerialization as needed.

    - Knowledge grows awareness. Small, on-going choices add up to surpassing TPTW sooner than later. By appealing to the individual's vanity, it's a good way to obstruct sun filtration for the pineal gland and heightened knowing. The power of advertising: promote contact lenses and lens replacement surgery over framed glasses. Can't leave out brainwashing of pop fashion, large framed sunglasses are vogue; be like a 'movie-star'. Possible solutions: people with blue or green eyes tend to be more sensitive to sunlight, so how about glasses with the changing polarized lens? Along with timed amounts in the "ah-la-natural sun light".

The bold - that's exactly what you should do. 3-4 minutes a day is enough. And make sure you pick a day when the sun doesn't shine too brightly.

That blindness crap is mainstream poo. I know people who do this regularly with their eyesight intact, and their 3rd eye more active.

Dear RUSirius . . . . Are You Serious!!!??? Lol just had to say that. But in all honesty may I be a voice of a bit of wisdom here.

Doesn’t it stand to reason that one does not need to stare directly at the sun to receive all the benefits of the different “rays” of light coming from the sun?

Also, one may not receive immediate damage from staring into the sun but I know many, many people who have worked outside in the sun most of their lives who have cataracts. Of course having them removed now is a fairly easy procedure.

It would stand to reason the more directly you stare into the sun the quicker cataracts would form over your eyes . . . .kinda defeats the purpose doesn’t it?

Another thought . . . .2012 and into 2014 we are and will be experiencing an incredibly strong Solar Maximum with solar flares erupting almost daily. The sun is more intense than ever before . . . . . caution would be advised.

The sun gazing phenomenon (over all) is fairly new and so we have yet to truly document the benefits or actual damage it may be doing.

Just think it all the way through . . . . maybe stare off to the side or something or how about totally nude while you stare the other way . . . . cause maybe severe sunburns are a lie too

Speaking of sun gazing, has anyone noticed that the sun seems to be sliding accross the horizon, rather than just going straight down. And that you now have to look strait up to find the big dipper at night, and the North Star seems to be about 10 degrees higher than it used to be???
Just a couple of things I have noticed over the past 6 months, but nobody seems to be talking about it, except the Inuit Eskimos. For the N-Star or the Big Dipper to be that much higher suddenly, would mean that the earth would have to tilt 10 degrees. hmm! Weather changes, anyone?

If you protect your skin (and eyes) with proper nutrition, then the sun's magnificent rays will heal you, not harm you. Lots of vitamin A (retinoic acid), raw fatty acids, lutein, ECGC, resveratrol, olive oil, and cruciferous veggies are most helpful, no essential. Sunscreen is most damaging for many reasons.

...or a scientist for that matter, I've seen two threads, the first related to the pineal gland calcification via fluoride, the second related to sun glasses and I believe the pineal gland. WHAT IF "sun gazing" when the sun is "watchable" could help to "de-calcify" the pineal gland, and assist the opening of the third eye?

    Pineal gland is referenced twice:

As author Daniel Reid writes in his fantastic book The Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity on p.247:

"The key factor in heliotherapy is the invisible ultraviolet band, and the key receptor is the retina. A layer of cells called the epithelial cells become highly neuroactive when exposed to ultraviolet radiation, without in any way affecting vision. While the visible bands of light excite the retina's rods and cones to produce vision, the invisible ultraviolet band stimulates the adjacent epithelial cells, which transmit the stimulus as a powerful neural Impulse through the optic nerve directly to the pituitary and pineal glands. Western medicine calls this newly discovered biosystem the 'oculo-endocrine system', but the mechanism has been known to Taoists for ages. The discovery has spawned a new branch of western science known as 'photobiology'."

Here are some other comments from medical professionals on the importance of the sun:

"Eyeglasses and contact lenses rob you of energy by blocking some of the ultra violet rays that travel through the eyes to the pineal gland, writes Patricia McCormac."
