Yes the Yin and Yang symbol is different. It doesn't picture human beings and the black color doesn't look "angry" and the white one doesn't have a heavenly smile upon it's lips.

As as dark complected being, I can tell you that I have no issues with the image used; as it is clearly a symbolic message that has meaning within the culture/audience it was intended for. What you do not understand is that polarity-dark/light, black/white, etc. are merely illusions and distortions of "The Law of ONE". Perhaps you are not ready for that lesson, however, it will be one that you encounter at some point within your journey. I assure you of that. It may take additional incarnations to reach that point, but this learning/understanding is not avoidable as it represents a brick wall within the process that must be passed to continue along the path.

Obviously the creator of the video may not have known that the image selected might be a detractor. If so, perhaps they may have chosen one that is less controversial in the eyes of a few. It is clearly disturbing to you and has disabled your ability to process the message. I wish you well in processing your fear.

I'm very familiar with The Law of One. Also you don't know me and cannot have the slightest idea about how ready i am for the lesson about polarities dark/light black/white. As a scorpio with many strong plutoaspects born in 1949 i can assure you i have made a journey i would not wish my worst enemy. What did disturb me was the patronizing Bashar teacher and his "message" that i didn't feel was coming from the heart. This in combination with the image was repelling for me. This is my gutfeeling and personal experience and no arguments will ever change that. I know my own heart.

This in combination with the picture put me off. I know pple in India are darkskinned and don't have an issue with it so that was not the main issue.

There is no single learning/teaching that is one size fits all from my experience. This is quite evident from the range of responses that this thread has generated. Although the Bashar teaching did not resonate with you, I hope that Kimberly's did; as the essence of the Bashar teaching is ever-present in Kimberly's eloquent description of the process. I bid you all the best and thank you for sharing.

We must replace all actions of separation with connection. A freeing-up. Hang loose! When you create tension, you create separation. It is healthier to let things "flow". And sometimes, this means, Go with YOUR Flow. (and it is also easier to change things when you relax with them ). "Go with the flow!", which brings us to;

3. Makia - energy flows where attention goes
Keep up a positive energy flow to an idea, object or person, and you will get a return flow of positive energy. Consistent thoughts of abundance brings abundance into your life. Thoughts of joy and happiness will come back to you in joy and happiness. But understand that the reverse is equally powerful. The same energy works for consistent thoughts of revenge, violence, distrust and dislike. We have the choice of focusing our thoughts and our energy's attention and thereby their flow back.

4. Aloha - means love, which in turn means, "happy to be with"
To the degree that you are happy with everything and everyone around you, you are "In Love." And every degree that you don't like the things around you, you diminish love. Love is not pain, guilt or hate; love is the joy and pleasure in our relationships with others and the world. It is the true meaning of "Ecstasy."

5. Manaua - NOW is the moment of power
There is no power in the past or future, but NOW. The past has no power over you if you don't let it in. Unburden yourself and live in the present. You create your own reality and beauty, and increase it by appreciating the things around you. The more you take pleasure in the moment, the more you increase that beauty, reality and power. The future doesn't wait for you; you create it in every present moment with your seeds of thought. To use an analogy or metaphor, this is the concept of, "Pull out any weeds and replant with new seeds!" We have the "energy-power" to utilise every moment - to the best of our potential.

6. Mana - our divine creative power and energy
There is one source of all power which flows through everything. This mana is the inner power which gives everything its "essence", the power of the wind to blow, the power of the stone to be strong and stable, the power of the human to be creative. All power comes from within. There is really no power outside you that has power over you unless you give them that power. Mana allows a thing to be "itself" in its utmost potential. We have the power to claim it and match our highest potential.

7. Pono - effectiveness is the measure of "truth"
There is always another way to do anything. There is no ONE way to do anything, no ONE truth, no ONE technique, or ONE way to be happy. (If there was only one way to do a thing, there would only be ONE person on the planet!) That's how creative each and every one of us are! There are infinite ways to fulfil yourself and be happy in creating the reality you prefer. Plans are not sacred (although your purpose might be). But use your integrity - the "right" means to the end; to create peace you must use peaceful means. Violence begets violence. To understand the All-That-Is, we must become the All-That-Is.

This discussion is very valuable. Thanks. I am reading an article that may hit a sweet middle ground spot. It is called "Synchronicity As a Mirror of Our Thoughts, Emotions, and Beliefs". There are so many valuable traditions that have messages supporting us in knowing our we must use our own capacities to master our experiences. I believe that as I stop behaving in a way that denies the possibility, the probability will increase for success. There just does not seem any other way than to behave as if I AM what I AM cracked up to be (hehe).

In Crowleyan tradition, people are encouraged to consider every event, etc., an act of communication between 'God' and their soul. We're taught not to think like that because it overestimates our importance, but really there's a strong argument to suggest it's the very foundation of synchronicity

There are two words common to the language;

"Godswill" and "Yeahbut".

Argue for your limitations and you get to keep them. Play - Dream - Pretend.

The Ladder Analogy
Each rung is there to help you get to where you want to go. These rungs need to be accepted and integrated in order that you grow as each rung taken individually is of no use in and of itself.

Understand, that in order to grow and evolve, you must build on all former foundations; even non-preferred former selves add - in their own positive ways - to the growth that you are now.

In other words, you must accept all of your former selves. Don't shun them or put them aside believing that they¹ve been no use to you whatsoever. Recognise that with the integration of yourself there will be those previous selves which you have preferred to be and those to which you do not. Those that you don't prefer to be provide the reflection on how you want to be right now. This is evolution and constant change.

The Mirror Analogy
A mirror reflects all and contains nothing; it holds onto nothing and is therefore open to show everything. A mirror holds nothing back from you and is always neutral. It reflects all.

The three keys to manifestation: SEE IT - FEEL IT - BE IT!

See It
Daydreaming; defined in an escapist sense, it is the running away from what is truly representative of you at that moment. Defined in this sense it is the ability to imagine what it is you prefer to be. See it - the things, situations and circumstances your prefer - design it, visualise it, place yourself in the picture, go into detail using all the senses.

In this way, it is impossible to imagine non-reality.

Fantasy is imagination reality. Excitement is what you are capable of achieving within your imagination.

Representational excitement exists in all realms in all time frames, in all alternative lives, in all ways, and in all manners. In any one moment you are always within your excitement.

Finetune the imagination reality until it represents the one you prefer.

Feel It
Recognise the difference between;

- how you feel in the preferred reality
- how you feel about the preferred reality

The latter places a value judgement on the preferred reality. Play in the preferred reality you have created, and play with the excitement of feeling the preferred reality.

Doubt is the 100% trust in a reality you don't prefer. Feeling it is the emotion, the energy motion of manifestation. Do not:

o become over-analytical within the preferred reality
o settle for less than what is your preferred reality
o doubt the excitement that arises from feeling your preferred reality.

Seeing It - is the blueprint, the vision of the manifestation.

Feeling It - is the emotion; "energy motion" that activates the blueprint, that actuivates the excitement and increases your frequency vibration. Feeling It places you, connects you to the blueprint, your preferred reality.

You must have the belief system that allows acceleration of your frequency to manifest the reality you prefer quickly.

That is, you must take the step to cease doing the things that are representative of the unpreferred reality and start to do the things that are representative of what you are and what you prefer to be. Otherwise the reality will not manifest - how can it when you are not feeling it!

What does living your preferred reality feel like? As if your life is an ecstatic, excited explosion. What does that mean? It means you are not tired, it means you will eat less, sleep less, do more, and attract more like people and situations into your life.

What happens when you feel that you cannot handle that much excitement? You will expand to accommodate it.

Be It
Your belief system is one where your physical reality holds you back and you fear that your preferred reality won¹t work for you. You believe that you are not worthy or deserving of your preferred reality.

You doubt that you are not worthy or undeserving of the unconditional love that the All That Is/God Force has. This is your guilt, your lack of self-worth, your doubt that the Universe will not support you.

This is arrogance; the belief that the God Force, the All That Is, Infinite Universe, will not support you. That you are separate from the All That Is.

Change this belief and you automatically and instantaneously create the "you" you prefer to be to the best of your ability.

Find, make and play-act the vision out in the reality that you prefer. Find the closest representation of the vision that you can find and be it - feel it - see it.

Therefore, understand that ALL of this happens with integrity - the integral state - acting with all you need to get exactly what you want. If you already have it, you do not need to force yourself, your beliefs, or anything else upon anyone or anything to get it. Integrity is the recognition that you - all of you - are connected to the whole.

Acting with your integrity means that the Universe will support you 100% in what you prefer to be. Acting without integrity creates separateness, judgement, guilt, effort, and negative synchronicity.

Integrity is knowing that you are already as powerful as you need to be to create the reality you prefer, without having to influence others. Be who you are and allow others to be who they are. In other words, "Know Thyself" - be true to yourself, be true to the vision, be integral, and you will know your excitement - can you withstand the joy? If you can't, you will simply expand to do so in ways that are reflective of who you are.

Doing what excites you the most shows you who you are. It shows you that it is effortless to be who you are, and shows you that what excites you the most will support you.

When you are excited, you give out signals that others can see, signals, frequencies, vibrations that reflect who you are and attracts the vision - the you you want to be.

When you are vulnerable you are open and at your best. Being vulnerable means that you know life works for you - that you are not the exception to the Universe. That you are part of the whole and the God Force, The All That Is supports you. You own nothing; you were born with nothing; nothing owns you. Be vulnerable.

Visions do not happen, (ie, do not physically manifest), when expectations are placed on them. Expectations create judgements, judgements create guilt, guilt is the perpetuation of the idea that you lack worth, that you are undeserving.

Expectations - assumes there are limitations on what can happen and assume that you know what the Universe has in store for you.

Expectancy - assumes that your vision will never match what the Universe has in store for you. Expectancy leaves room for surprise and always brings about more than you could possibly imagine. Expectancy is knowing that your birthright - your life path or purpose - is your alignment with the Universe that supports you.

Be it - live in the vision so that it is a reflection and an experience of you on a day-to-day personal level.The vision must be all that you hope to prefer to be and not a part of it - there are no half steps. Take a step, take a half step - there is no such thing, even a half step is a step.

Be it - live the vision - in thought - in word - in action.

Fear - and the excitement that it generates - stands in the way of real excitement. Fear is the belief that a negative reality can happen to you. The excitement of that fear is the belief that it will happen. Anxieties are disguised fears which are beliefs that negative realities will occur.

Real excitement is simply knowing who you are and who you prefer to be.

Given any negative situation, recognise that everything that happens, happens for a positive reason. To recognise that as such is the first step to getting beyond the negativity of the situation.

Redefine your world - your reality - until you have a belief system that perpetuates a positive state of what happens to you. That will perpetuate a belief system of excitement.

Change any negative definition that you are having of an experience into a definition - a perspective - that you would prefer. All situations are neither inherantly "good" or "bad"; they are simply a persepective that you choose to have.

Excitement is "knowing" where you are; where you are going; who you are, and who you prefer to be, and then being it.

Children of today have a greater ability to remember their true selves, so when they choose to reincarnate they are less likely to absorb the belief systems of ther environment to survive in the world.

What you may feel as the presence of beings around you is not them coming to
you, but your frequency rising to meet theirs.

Excitement needs to be followed through with in the form of action.

Recognise the responsibiities you create when you follow your excitement. Don¹t shun responsibilities because you fear them or think they are the boring parts of your excitement. Responsibilities don¹t tie you to something but allow you to see the true reason they are there.

By placing expectations upon your excitement means that your definition or perspective of it will not allow you to feel the excitement when it occurs. Excitement and synchronicity will often manifest in a way that you do not expect. This should not in any way lessen or invalidate the experience. Nonetheless, it will manifest itself in a way that you need to experience at the time.

Excitement often impacts on other individuals. Shunning responsibility of one excitement to follow another is a fear of responsibility. The fear is the excitement that you need to experience.

Other people constantly reflect to you. Are they, or are they not reflective of you? Are they, or are they not representative of a you you prefer to be? People who give you advice often see how it applies to others but not to themselves. They do not believe in the power of that advice for them - otherwise they would not need to give advice. This is the idea of "leading by example". Put simply, advice represents the opportunity for you to choose. And choice is the mechanism that allows you to be who you prefer to be.

When two people's excitement differ - if you see a difference - explore the differences and find the best set of circumstances that will allow commonalities to occur. This is not negotiation or compromise. This is the path that flattens the obstacles that you believe to stand in you way. Focus on common elements and explore differences to find these common circumstances.

Therefore, understand the difference between need and needy; Need implies complete. Needy implies incomplete.

Always do what you feel is appropriate action within your excitement regardless of obstacles (that aren't really obstacles, - simply chosen perspectives - the goal, and getting to the the goal analogy). Within excitement there are no real half-way steps. In other words DO, or DO NOT, there is no such thing as "Try". Try implies that you may - or may not. There is no commitment.

Grief is a situation that you recognise as loss. But what have you lost? Situations change and evolve as you "lose" clothing, possessions, friends or loved ones. Do you mourn the loss of possessions? Are loved ones your possessions?

Grief is your refusal to let go of an idea or perspective - a belief that in self-pity you have been cut off or disconnected. In this way, grief is a "safety valve." Grief you feel inside is the "pressure" from being handed transitional energy. The gift of the Lifeforce is a pressure for change in your life which may further compound the grief. This reflection serves as a need to realign yourself with the Universe.

Death is people planning a surprise party for you when they die. Look forward to your grief as gifts move from those who leave to those who grieve (agreement by death).

If those around you do not share in your excitement, that's O.K. Be joyful of yourself and don't compound the misery.

I suppose it must be valuable in some way for you at this time to have this restricted belief system. On the other hand, Byron Katie would ask you. "Can you say for certain that is true?" and "What would it be like for you if you did not hold those beliefs?". It is much like some of the "thnking" that says being "gifted' with affluent abundance is nonspiritual or that when you win something, someone else must lose.

But you have every right to enjoy the fruits of these thoughts. It is what I say to myself: " I am able to choose".
