I found this image online and eventhough i already knew how the mainstream media can control public opinion, i thought it was still a very striking example. Especially useful to save to computer and show to sleeping family members or friends.

Or how about printing it out even and hanging it on the workfloor, as a kind of joke, just to plant a seed for thought

While i agree that MSM is manipulating information to direct public opinions i would like to point out that above picture is itself a manipulation. Please notice that i do not assume that the whole OP is a manipulation. The reported on picture is and the author of it. Assuming that OP and author of the picture are two distinct persons

We can see that picture this way:
1) In a middle there is a whole picture. We assume that it is a whole picture. Could it be a part of something bigger?
2) Left and right picture shows an assumption of the author of this manipulation, of what parts of the whole picture certain media outlets will report
3) Notice there are only 2 media outlets mentioned. Are there none other out there?!
4) And has that picture been actually used in reports by those 2 certain media outlets?

It could be other media outlets (a competition ) trying to discredit those 2 certain media outlets and steal their customers (ehem... distinguished viewers & readers)
