The area north of where this interviewer is talking about is where I've explored in Southern Venezuela, it's a canyon area 10x the size of the Grand Canyon that has never been explored to any degree and is all highland jungle.
I won't tell you what I've seen there because, none of you would believe me. This region has been unchanged since the dawn of time. There are no roads or "outsiders" for many hundreds of miles.

I agree. It really seems odd that every year, there are huge forest fires
in that area and california. I think some alphabet agency it setting these
fires on purpose.

I was checking out the Quakes hitting the Canary Islands and didn't realize they have underground cities too...

Although this underground city goes 7 floors down the visitor is allowed to visit the 4 of them. Have in mind that in some parts you have to duck down because some tunnels between the rooms are lower than a meter! Some tall people had some pain in their back after that! The rooms are big enough though even with more than 10 people inside but if you are tall maybe you will feel uncomfortable in some parts. Of course, if you have claustrophobia the visit to the underground city is a no-no!
