Default rotten teeth, mums return to fluoride tooth paste

    guys,

I got 2 friends who are bringing their kids up with organic food, little telly and all the other right stuff, no coca cola or excess other rubbish. and fluoride free tooth paste

several of the kids (6years oldish) , now have terrible teeth with lots of holes, and the mums have decided that surely the damage must have been done by denying the kids their fluoride tooth paste......

    what to do????

Look around the house and see if you can find any of your old tubes of toothpaste that you failed to toss in the garbage and send it to them.

The damage has been done, most probably from the sugar in the other food.

There are non-fluoride toothpaste surely, aren't there? I know there are lots on sale where I am at.

And it is the brushing action that keeps the plaque from building up.

mms will kill bad bacteria, leaving good bacteria alone, gums will strenghten if damaged will grow back, ues it long and often enough will kill all bacteria deep in gums and roots, baking soda, whitens teeth and kills bacteria plus provides sodium, magnesium oil leaves teeth smooth, removes heavy metals from gums, provides magnesium directly to the cells, the mouth is the gateway to health, the condition of teeth are signals as to what is going on inside, all personall experience, must be doing something right, the mercury free dentist that removed my fillings 18 months ago, gives me free appointments every 6 months, as he cannot believe what he is looking at each time i visit, his interest is not my gums, its the way the whole thing has been approached, and the transformation he is witnessing

Is there fluoride in the water supply? I spent the first few years of my life living in Taiwan where my father was working on his doctoral dissertation. Consequently, the Taiwanese water supply had high amounts of fluoride in the water which caused irreparable pitting to my enamel. The only solution, once I was old enough, was to get veneers installed. Eventually, the veneers were replaced with porcelain crowns which have the added benefit of never rotting and a perfect smile. It's an expensive option, but well worth it in the long run.

They have not done their homework it seems. Not using fluoride does not mean zero dental health. The brush sticks work, as do other non fluoride toothpaste, but it must be done. Do the children drink juice and not rinse their mouths with water? Juice will destroy teeth if the sugars are not removed. It seems they just need to study more and learn from cultures that don't use fluoride and yet have great dental health because of the lack of sugar and using gentle methods to keep teeth clean. Sugar is the culprit from breads, juices, veggies, and other sweet treats.

    Hi my friend,

I may be wrong here, but to me your question is not about what other products can be used for these kids, but more in the nature of: How can you be of help in a situation where 2 mothers are at the verge of starting to use fluoridated toothpaste for their children.

well, Vitalux might be spot on in the end.
There is not much you can do, other then state your opinion and give information like Unified Serenity suggested.
But if they are not open for that, It's beyond your powers.
One of those moments where you have to be a bystander and witness something you feel shouldn't be happening, but it's not yours to control.
In the end...Just let it go!

thanks guys for all the replies!
it is my personal opinion that the tooth decay must be caused by sugars, and not the lack of fluoride...
there is no fluoride in the water here...

I suppose at the age of 6 we are talking mainly milk teeth, and these are more fragile anyway....

I will suggest mms , bicarbonate of soda and the other things that were mentioned..

    cheers

Figure out what nutrient(s) are missing in their diet that are essential to good teeth. This might include Vitamins A, C and D, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and perhaps (I don't know) certain amino acids and fats (especially saturated fats). See further, for example, http://www.adha.org/CE_courses/cours...al_factors.htm and http://www.linksnorth.com/nutrition/nutrients.html.

Figure out what poisons are getting in, perhaps via the water, vaccines or any processed food. There are other ways they get fluoride in us, and other poisons they get in us.

If the eldest child has better "baby" teeth than the younger siblings, then this could reflect increasing nutritional deficiencies in the mother during pregnancy, which tend to be more pronounced as the number of pregnancies increase.

Consider these sites: http://yourreturn.org/Treatments/Teeth/index.htm and http://www.curetoothdecay.com/, as well as this set of three videos:

For a tasty, though pricey, treat of fermented cod liver oil and the finest butter, consider Green Pasture's Blue Ice Royal Butter Oil / Fermented Cod Liver Oil Blend. I am getting addicted to the Cinnamon Tingle flavor .

I don't want to sound like a bummer,...
But do these kids also drink milk from a sippy cup before bed? Or vitamins before nodding off?

I'm doing the non fluoride toothpaste thing with my kids; my husband is skeptical on the tooth decay issue.

There are natural toothpastes that contain the baking soda and mms in them- for celiac children they also come gluten free..

    I still don't get it...

Fluoride is a 'Toxic Poision' (Period)..! It should be banned for Human Consumption and the 'Fertiliser Waste By-Product should disposed of in the correct manner, using the same standard Safety Procedures as for any 'Toxic Waste'..!

I cut out brushing with 'Fluoride' over a year ago, and now brush with this toothpaste instead...

good points Jack. One of the worst drinks are those "Monster" ones and others like them. They are highly corrosive and recommend using a straw to drink them. I don't drink them at all.

Energy drinks start to destroy teenagers' teeth after only five days

    • Enamel damage apparent after only five days exposure to sports or energy drinks
    • Energy drinks caused twice as much damage as sports drinks
    By Daily Mail Reporter
    PUBLISHED: 04:36 EST, 2 May 2012 | UPDATED: 09:31 EST, 2 May 2012

Teenagers' love of energy drinks is taking a terrible toll on their teeth, scientists have warned.
A study published in the Academy of General Dentistry charted an alarming increase in the consumption of both energy and sports drinks among young adults in the U.S. who use them to help get through the day.

But they said the habit is causing irreversible damage to teeth as the high acidity levels in the drinks erode tooth enamel, the glossy outer layer of the tooth
In some cases it can take as little as five days for the eroding effect to begin.

'Young adults consume these drinks assuming that they will improve their sports performance and energy levels and that they are 'better' for them than soda,' said lead author Dr Poonam Jain, from Southern Illinois University.
'Most of these patients are shocked to learn that these drinks are essentially bathing their teeth with acid.'

Sweet-tooth: A can of Monster Energy contains 54g of sugar while a can of Red Bull contains 27g of sugar. They were two of the nine energy drinks tested in the study. The American Heart Association recommends having no more than 30g of sugar a day

The researchers found that damage to enamel was evident after only five days of exposure to sports or energy drinks, although energy drinks showed a significantly greater potential to damage teeth than sports drinks.
In fact, the authors found that energy drinks caused twice as much damage to teeth as sports drinks.

With a reported 30 to 50 per cent of U.S. teens consuming energy drinks, and as many as 62 per cent drinking at least one sports drink per day, it is important to educate parents and young adults about the downside of these drinks.

I would tend to avoid that ingredient -- see for example Toxic Cosmetics Ingredient List (Anionic Surfactants )

    I've switched to Toothsoap.com.

However, the jury is still out on Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. See for example http://www.baseformula.com/blog/2010...inate-not-sls/ for an argument in favor of it.

    Hello All,

I would like to suggest that people watch the Andrew Norton Webber interview with Lisa Harrington, which is here on alternative health...It is long but so informative...his teeth got whiter and stronger due to drinking only distilled water and keeping his urine in his mouth for 5 minutes 3x a day...I know this will upset people here but since listening to that interview I have been using urine therapy and distilled water...my diet for the past year has been mainly live/raw food, with hard boiled eggs from local farms where chickens run free and have food that is chemical free and no antibiotics given. The only meat I have eaten since 2004 is chicken breast with celery and mayonnaise. I have not been able to give that up since I am 0 negative blood and suposedly my ancestry came from hunters and meat eaters....
So, I do not have a diet with processed food, use toothpaste without fluoride, and I used to drink bottled spring water but since watching the interview a month ago switched to distilled...My own experience is that my teeth which were gray, and I am not able to visit a dentist for cosmetic reasons such as whitening my teeth, and so as I have been doing the 5 minute swish 3x a day my teeth are getting so white and stronger!! A couple were loose and I had to have 3 removed in 18 months...I am simply amazed but cannot share this with others around me as it is a subject that would bring ridicule if not publicy then privately and I am wise enough to keep this to myself. I have more energy and many other things I will not go into here as I want to stick to the topic of teeth...

That is what is happening to me...clean up your diet...I juice raw organic frulits and vegetables once a day. This might not be a solution for parents with a young chiild as we have been taught urine is waste but it is 100% sterile. I hope this may help some people who are ready to explore this subject and whiten and strengthen their teeth at the same time...It is also the best antibacterial substance you can use as it is your own DNA and what is more, it is free!!!

    All the Best,

mms will kill bad bacteria, leaving good bacteria alone, gums will strenghten if damaged will grow back, ues it long and often enough will kill all bacteria deep in gums and roots, baking soda, whitens teeth and kills bacteria plus provides sodium, magnesium oil leaves teeth smooth, removes heavy metals from gums, provides magnesium directly to the cells, the mouth is the gateway to health, the condition of teeth are signals as to what is going on inside, all personall experience, must be doing something right, the mercury free dentist that removed my fillings 18 months ago, gives me free appointments every 6 months, as he cannot believe what he is looking at each time i visit, his interest is not my gums, its the way the whole thing has been approached, and the transformation he is witnessing
    I fully agree!

These kids have not toothpaste problems but microbe problems...
and maybe heavy metal problems to
    or perhaps imbalance from vaccinations.
MMS, baking soda, xylitol gum and brushing with xylitol are the answer.
They, their little bodies need to be cleaned from the inside out.

Why are people so resistant to seeing that parasites are a real deal!

I understand the healing benefits of urine but..... BUT.... if this got out.... if these kids started talking about it.... they would have child protective services all over them.
