    Default Healing wounds.

    Healing wounds.

There is much work to be done, with no effort!

We all carry around wounds, in the body and in the mind. It's time to start healing those wounds.
In our heads we say there is no right and wrong, but our heart feel something different...let's be honest!

If we do not heal these wounds now, we will only continue carrying them and they may even get deeper. Just the mention of someone's name and we get a gut reaction. So in the back of our mind, good and bad do exist, or rather likes and dislikes!

Wounds exist because we believe that what happened was real. A 'real thing' that happened out there, when it actually only happened in the mind, and was felt in the heart. The result of this is a residue left in our subtle body.

This is all due to our 're-actions' to a situation, because we disliked something or liked something, and it did not turn out the way we wanted, where what we thought was 'right' and they were 'wrong'!

We all make mistakes: we all unintentionally or intentionally hurt others. Why? Because we are ignorant of the true nature of everything. We are still in this dream land. If anyone was awake, they would at least be kind. Everyone wants to be happy and not suffer. But we generally think that this is some else's responsibility, don't we?

Not so. When we feel hurt, the only one who suffers is us!

So how do we start healing?

First recognise that any feeling or thought that arise, are products of the past. In the moment of recognising, there is only our 'mirror essence' that is perceiving a product from the the past. In that very moment no karma (fixated mental imprints) are being produced - there is mere awareness.

If the re-actions are merely noted, our intelligence is present. Guilt, pride, jealousy, anger or fear may then arise, but that is still a product from the past...let it go! And watch! You have just broken the vicious cycle of suffering, and are free. Let it go.

Now, in this moment there is no good or bad!

Now you are free, you are free to look at the situation for the benefit of the other, without a thought for retaliation. This is conduct. You have just become very intelligent!

You not only heal your own wounds, but give space to the other, for their wounds to be healed also.

What is also needed is awareness of how to settle the subtle body, by bringing an energy wind down from the head or heart or guts to below the navel, where it should be. When we heat up, become anxious or fearful, the wind below the navel rises and we feel tension in the upper areas of the body. This is quite simple to bring down.

A bad video is to follow, but hoping for good results!

Remember to take baby steps. Try this with simple situations, and don't expect too much. Just a slight loosening is satisfying, and the first stage of letting go. You will find that you have let go with the right hand, and the left picks it up again...just laugh!

    Tony

Ace hope this is an ok observation to add to the topic... As a tai chi student for a number of years I find this topic highly relevant to the central practices... learning about the different 'bodies' we have, ranging from the physical, energetic, emotional, etheric bodies and so on (like a Russian doll) which extend infinitely into space... Emotions and thoughts are believed to be held in our bodies and one often also needs to break a physical cycle to free them...

Anyway.. no one cell in our bodies is the same as it was a few years ago, so in fact we have completely new bodies that are constantly replacing themselves... But... I always wonderd why scars stay, if that makes sense... We must carry these injuries in our spirit bodies or somewhere... Obviously some scars fade but others don't, but if our bodies are brand new why would scars stay.... Not sure exactly what I'm trying to contribute here, other than physical wounds go deeper than our physical bodies and mental wounds often have corporeal manifestations too

thanks for the post. I looks helpful but also costs $$$....what of those here who do not have the resources for all these wonderful "secrets" about how to heal? I am waiting for the day when a really enlightened Being is prepared to offer these Truths free to everyone as he/she will certainly be above the need themselves for monetary gain and know their path is to no longer have a "secret" others must pay for but they know it is FREE to all....Tesla was one who was such a man and wanted to give his discovery of electricity FREE for humanity's use...Look what happened to that poor man!

    Thanks again for the post.

There are two excellent methods that will cost you nothing but your transient self-images, which are the source of suffering when identified with and clung to, mistaking them for who we really are.

The first consists in inquiring into the true, original nature and identity of the one who would be healed. Who is that one? This requires some persistence, discarding all second-hand notions and conceptual formulas.

The second consists of surrendering and letting go of all fixated attachment to the body/mind/organism, allowing life to live one without interference or complaint.

Both are ultimately the same method, and lead to the same place. Both are the function and play of real love.

You are right it does cost!
I've had to leave retreats because it was too expensive.
That is why I like to share what I experience.

But then again, sacrifice is needed.
To do certain teachings and practices, it too me
20 years to do the preliminaries.

Inner prayer, does work, and something will come up
    ....free of charge!

    Dear 21cc,

    Nice to have you aboard!

Our emotions will always pop up, it comes with being sentient (having a mind). These reactions are products from the past. If we can just accept them without reacting , thereby neutralising the emotions, we ARE being kind to ourselves! More importantly we begin to see this in others, therefore we do not condemn them, or react.

This does two very important things: One it produces no karma. Two, it allow us space to be creatively positive!

Accepting I am not perfect takes one out of the outer race: is such a relief! Accepting I am perfect in the inner realm: is such a relief

    Tony

    Thanks Pie and another Bob,

I was just venting my frustration in years past when I was unable to pay for or attend these great seminars...I did go within myself and Bob I have been working on exactly finding out who I am without my "story." I keep asking who am I and why am I here? Then I take time in my day to "listen" via meditation. Turning away from the world in general or being forced to do so and following "the road less traveled" is no easy task. I, too, have been doing it for more than 20 yrs. pie. And it is true for me now that answers do come from being in that silent space as much as possible.

Thank you both for your kind replies. The work goes on.

    Love & Gratitude,
    Sunlite

Absolutely, but the catch always is: it must be genuine and sincere. When we scrape a bit below the surface, really examing our motives, it can be a bit discouraging to see how self-serving our idealism may still be. There are many layers, and it gets very subtle and tricky, which is why a qualified guide is often essential as we proceed -- someone to act as a clear mirror, reflecting back to us where we are really at, rather than where we imagine we're at.

There was a book by Ken Keysey Jr.
Can't remember the title as I read it in the seventies...ages ago...
And he talked about the "Consciousness Doubler"...

The same instant one uses one's imagination and puts oneself into the other person's shoes..
That's when the level of consciousness goes up in a 100% leap.
This thread brought back the memory....

Healing wounds is pouring Love on fresh and old wounds.
It`s an elixir which cures, makes whole again.

When we heal by Love (in myriad of its forms) we heal ourselves first for we allow the flow of the elixir though our own minds souls and heart ( for if we didn`t allow this though us first- we wouldn`t offer it at all).
When we heal ourselves we allow Love to be through us.
By allowing Love to be through us we are seeing through Love`s eyes and see only Love in front of us whomever that may be.

Sounds weird but beautiful it is.

    I love you.

    Simple. Utterly powerful.
But only when genuine as Another Bob here said...
Love, love and see what happens!
