Default Why we don't see UFOs (...we are them)

    Hi

I just wanted to post my theory of life here so it's off my chest.

It's based on Einstein's theory of relativity as much as the idea that we are "Galactic" spirits. The two concepts (mainstream science vs Bob Dean type interdimensionality) are often pitted against each other, so I wanted to point out an aspect in which they are in agreement.

[1] RELATIVITY AND THE NATURE OF EXISTENCE

The "lightspeed limitation" theory - which prevents many mainstream scientists from entertaining the idea of UFOs - only applies to objects of FINITE MASS.

To recap, examples of objects which have mass include:

    - bits of metal
    - our bodies
    - a sandwich

Examples of objects which are massless include:

    - our personalities
    - our thoughts
    - our "spirit"
    - a song
    - a story
    - politics
    - an objective
    - a state of mind
    - .... in fact just about everything that makes the slightest bit of difference to our spiritual lives

(When we're born, the molecules that make up our DNA have a finite mass. They can't reasonably be transported around the universe in that state. On the other hand, the INFORMATION that our molecular DNA encodes is massless and can have come from anywhere in the universe or go anywhere else).

    [2] REASONABLE vs UNREASONABLE TRANSPORT

If we are really spiritual beings, floating around the universe in between physical incarnations, then it would be a bit pointless trying to do this while in the material plane as well.

In the context of galactic time, a physical lifetime is the blink of an eyelid. So considering interstellar travel while incarnated in a body would be a bit like "beaming" yourself across the atlantic and then trying to swim back for an hour to pick up your mobile that you left at home. It's just a no-goer, "don't even consider it" job.

Even interdimensional travel in a spaceship seems kind of pointless. Why use such a "clunky" method when your already doing it on a hyperdimensional plane - all you have to do is disincarnate and re-incarnate somwhere else. I know it involves "dying" which may sound unpleasant, however, despite that we all do it all the time. Being born is also not to "funky" an experience and yet that seems to be universally popular as well.

    CONCLUSION

When discussion UFO's, I think we should give more consideration to the perspective of physical lifetimes, galactic timescales, physical properties and metaphysical properties. We are so small that we tend to see our lifetimes as "long and slow", whereas in fact they are more like the sparks emanating from one of those handheld sparklers. There just isn't time to be jumping out of one "spark" and going off to explore another - nor is there any point because your going to be the "other spark" yourself in less than a millisecond !

Phew. As the guy says, "sorry, but I had something to say" .. . https://youtube.com/watch?v=33LMU...eature=related

I'll go back to washing the dishes now.

    Pete

Quit being a dishwasher. You have a lot to offer.
Unless these thoughts only enter your mind while washing dishes.

Here is my version of the same, just different words, perhaps.

Everything that is composed is subject to being decomposed.
Over a period of time. In fact, that is how a life time is measured.

    What remains is consciousness.
It is the consciousness that decides
when a body becomes useless. That is when it leaves it.
After which decomposition processes really speed up.
    Dust to dust, kind of.

    Meanwhile...
Consciousness plays with more concepts. The range is infinite.
Just think what we would be talking about here
if planet Earth had two suns, like a binary system.
I don't mean a second sun that looks like a distant star, but another really large sun.
Two sunrises, two sunsets every day.
Even our math would be different.
No more day and night only, but two dawns a day and two dusk periods.
    Lots of grey areas there.
Hey this could go on forever.
Maybe I should take a break here and wash dishes now.

You can duct tape a bunch of those sparklers together for one really big spark, too.
