Albert Pike

Recently, I was listening through some lectures given by the Canadian born scholar Manly P.Hall. He talked very highly of this man, Albert Pike (I had seen pictures of him before but I didn't know anything about him), with his vast intellect and sophistication, versed in a multiple languages including Sanskrit. Manly Hall himself being an exceptional scholar of eastern philosophy, esoteric teachings and having such deep knowledge in various disciplines, I was quite curious to find out about this person HE revered so greatly.

I found an article (pretty old, 2009) written by Robert Singer from a site called "thepeoplesvoice.org", which was interesting, but of course common knowledge now-a- days. Interesting to read nonetheless.

I wonder what the relation is between Albert Pike & Baron Edmond de Rothschild shown in the picture of this article.
