The last 43 or so quakes are above or well above 5.0
does avalon have a set standard of how high they are before it is posted on here or is the 5.0 quakes a standard for the world now?

I've got my fingers crossed that a big one happens in Alaska where the HAARP is....

I had a weird experience last week that indicated to me that I should be monitoring CA now for earthquakes or other catastrophic events. I was to find out after I had that experience that there is a lot activity now on the net in the 'earthquake predictions dept.' about something big that's coming up in that state soon. Anyway, I just joined this forum yesterday and good to see that some of you here are keeping track of what's going on on the west coast now. I sure hope nothing happens... have family living on the coast in S.F., but do plan to keep an eye on those gov't earthquake sites to keep updated on everything.

hey Roisin. you have had a feeling something within your lifetime is going to happen?
may not be tomorro or next year but it is in the bones i know.. and on the scale of time in the universe our lifetime is but a whisp.. so i think predicting something that changes us in a major kind of way, within our lifetime is enough of a date for me..
the experts can help us with a closer timeframe.
i have a mate that i talk with a bit about the erath changes and how it would effect coastal areas.. then he up and moved about 300 metres from the beach.. you are where you need to be.

Thanks for your comments bennycog! As for me feeling that something is going to happen within my lifetime, well, anyone who takes the time to do some casual research on the topic of earthquakes will end up being horrified and alarmed, at least momentarily, about that information. The information on this is so bad, most of the time you want to forget it right after you read it. Not to mention all of the devastating earthquakes in the news these days and the staggering number of causalities of those events is just too enormous for me to even wrap my mind around. And as always, I wonder how it is that I am so lucky to live where I do on this planet yet millions and millions of others live in earthquake prone area's where obsession with mere survival is overwhelmingly ubiquitous everywhere you go in those parts of the world. On a cosmic level, it just does not seem fair to me but that's another whole topic.
On my end though, I feel it in my bones that the big one is coming up soon in CA. I didn't feel like this before last week but now I do. Time will tell how long this feeling of doom and gloom about all of this will last but for now, my eyes are peeled to the news and those earthquake maps on the net. I have family living right on the coast in the S.F. area and that's part of it too. One night last week, after I apparently stopped breathing for a second or so, I immediately woke up and when I did, I heard a voice say "San Francisco". So from that point on I have been monitoring that area on the gov't earthquake site. I know that sounds crazy but I know me.... and when something like that happens, I pay attention to it.

sorry it took me a bit to reply roisin ...
    my job is quite demanding......

casual research? yes... that is what most of the newborne awakeners consist of doing. and it brings you to places like camelot and avalon.. i mean at the start of avalon..
you find yourself sifting throught the internet looking for answers that the questions have plagued your life. while they have not plagued you openly, on the inside your pining for an answer to why things around you are in no way they are meant to be.. and what evidence do you have of that? absolutely none. but you know that the life you and those around you lead are such a farce that you have to live with them, and that you have to figure it out within your mind why it has turned out this way..

maybe it is because we are all fairly ol souls on this planet, or maybe we can make a little sense of the energetic realm.. once again i have no experience of this, it is somehow engrained in me..

i am glad your looking out for your family in the way that you are. it shows your an exceptional person. and i know how you feel when you point out that you are going to feel responsible if something might occur with you knowing a whim of it in advance..

who knows maybe the way you are monitoring your area is contributing to the healing of that area? i am still trying to work all this out myself.. but i feel that thoughts and projections are still as much of an energy as you walking down to the shop to buy bread..
though in reality you might not see any repercussions, the inner self or the psyche of this world can absorb and spread your intent with those that are in tune.
in my opinion this is why stories are told,,, such as the dreamtime.

my intentions are foremost focused on my special young kin.. but next i have heart for every soul i can manage to try to effect..

    cool, calm, and the collective

Exact same feeling and timeframe for me, too Roisin! I was spending that week on the WA coast with family, so was probably extra vigilant (paranoid? Lol) but deep down knew something would occurr while I was there. Sure enough, this 5.6 occurred during our last night sleep. My spidey senses are still honed in on the CA/OR coastline... Hmmmmm
