I have watched over the last two years at least two hundred of these docs and it is amazing what I have learned. Some are very good, some are excellent to the nines, and some are gd awful. Even from the bad ones these is something to learn. Some of the comments are interesting too.

One of the things that surprised me is that most talked about docs are always about religion in some forms. Made me really understand what a powerful grip it has on our minds.
    Beware the axis of sanctimony.

My son and I watched "Its a Wondeful Life" on Christmas Eve with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.

It was delightful and inspiring. A great story about regular people who have very noramal yet extraordinary experiences. Its long so be ready for that. Nice to peek in on the lives of folks who dont have their heads stuck in an ipad or or iphone 24/7.

    https://youtube.com/watch?

"A nomadic family in Mongolia’s Gobi desert faces a problem when a white camel colt is born in a difficult delivery and the mother rejects it. Repeated efforts by the extended family to get the mother to nurse the colt fail. The colt stands alone and cries for its mother. The family worries that the colt will not survive. Finally, Dude (Enkhbulgan Ikhbayar), the older boy, is sent to a nearby town to find a musician who can perform a “Hoos” ceremony.

Little Ugna (Uuganbaatar Ikhbayar) begs to go along. The two boys travel for miles across the desert, stopping at a neighbor’s yert, where Ugna is delighted by his first encounter with television. They travel on to the village, and then return home with word that a musician is on the way. A musical ceremony is performed in an effort to get the mother camel to accept her colt.

The Story of the Weeping Camel is a blend of documentary footage and narrative. Filmmakers Luigi Falorni and Byambasuren Davaa cast a real nomad family of herders and shot many of the events in the film as they occurred. The Story of the Weeping Camel was selected by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art for inclusion in the 2004 edition of New Directors/New Films."

    ONE, the movie
I watched this a few years ago and loved it. The idea of a "regular" guy with inspiration and what happens when its applied. Dragonfly had one of my favorite answers in the movie. Oneness!

I just watched this on Netflix live streaming.
It's a sweet, low budget little Sundance winner about love, climate change and "Nowstalgia".
A natural for environmentalists who have little or no hope for humanity in the near future, also for those who have much hope, but are aware of the potential for disaster too.

    The Celestine Prophecy.
A great film for me and I want to share with you. This film helps us to evolve spiritually in many ways, for example, teaches us to see the aura of people, to become invisible, to feel and see the good vibes of the people and the bad, to feel that other beings are with us in our evolution...

    Grounded
"Grounded" is an independent feature film about what is considered by many authorities to be "The Greatest Health RE-discovery of All Time". The concept was tested on the people of Haines, Alaska , (population 1,700.) Now showing on Youtube for free for a limited time.

Just watched this earlier and was very impressed, will definitely be watching it again. I have not really got my thoughts clear about what I watched so I will leave no other comment for now.

If there were spoiler tags here I might have something to say but I have to stay quiet.
