Default The Lost Book of Enki - Sitchin and the Anunnaki

The tablets were found in what's now modern day Iraq. Famous locations where a lot of tablets in ancient libraries were found: Sippar, Nippur and Nineveh. Sitchin used well over 800 Sumerian, Mesopotamian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrian sources for this collection. He named this bundle of tablets he selected 'The Lost Book of Enki'.

From Atlantis to Sumeria, clues in history and mythology.

    Video with Manly Palmer Hall (March 18, 1901 – August 29, 1990)

was a Canadian-born author and mystic. He is perhaps most famous for his work The Secret Teachings of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy, published in 1928[1][2] when he was 27 years old.

It is claimed that Hall was made a knight patron of the Masonic Research Group of San Francisco in 1953, although he was not raised as a Mason until 22 November 1954 into Jewel Lodge No. 374 , San Francisco. He later received his 32° in the Valley of San Francisco AASR (SJ).

On December 8, 1973 (47 years after writing The Secret Teachings of All Ages), Hall was recognized as a 33° Mason (the highest honor conferred by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite) at a ceremony held at the Philosophical Research Society (PRS). The definitive Manly Palmer Hall Archive states that Hall received the 33°, "despite never being initiated into the physical craft."

In his over 70-year career, Hall delivered approximately 8,000 lectures in the United States and abroad, authored over 150 books and essays, and wrote countless magazine articles. He appears in the introduction to the 1938 film When Were You Born, a murder mystery that uses astrology as a key plot point.

In 1934, Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Angeles, California, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the study of religion, mythology, metaphysics, and the occult.] PRS maintains a research library of over 50,000 volumes, and also sells and publishes metaphysical and spiritual books, mostly those authored by Hall.

I have read most of Sitchin's books and also have Hall's "Secret Teachings of all Ages" These books are great but not easy reads. The research that went into these books is incredible in their depth, complexity and far reaching knowledge. Sitchin presents you with all the material, the artifacts, the 'what if' and let's you reach your own conclusions. I liked this approach. The conclusion I came to is that human history is far richer and complex than we were ever taught. Education certainly dumbed us down, if we allowed it to. Because really, a passionate, open, enquiring mind is unstoppable. The information is out there, we just have to go for it.

If you haven't read "The Lost Book of Enki" by Z. Sitchen then I suggest you put it on your to do list. I thought it was his best publication.

I loved this book. It is among my vast library of unusual and odd books. I did have to read it several times to understand it because it reads like Yoda speaks. LOL! What I liked best about it was the fact that it made you think.

You need to know that book is mosly fiction. just a story told by Sitchin. Also it's worth to note that Sitchin made up alot of the stuff he talks about. there is no such tablet that says the Annunaki ever came here to earth.
you can find more information just google Sitchin is wrong.....

Ancient languages are not a particular strength of mine, but having done a little study in that area, I was at least persuaded that Sitchin's alternative translations (quoted in other books) of some of the texts made more sense than the officially sanctioned versions more palatable to the establishment. I haven't read any of Sitchin's books so far. But I hope, if I ever do, I will have the time, and the stamina to check his suggestions as rigorously as my own abilities will permit.

In my view, the whole Niburu saga is total bullshiit.

Just another enormous myth courtesy of the new age movement.

    Stay calm and Carry on.

Sitchin has a merit. To have drawn attention to Summeria and the tablets. That's about it.
As a historian, I profissionally do not discuss his opinions because they are pure speculation.
A good theory has to have backup facts.

Go directly to the «fountain» . Learning Ancient languages is a powerful key to unlock the «secrets« of our hidden history. That's the reason I started to learn egyptian hieroglyphs.

    Hi Maria,

Great post Stichin, in time, was questioned by Ickle on the "Nibiru" phenomenon, and others, particularly Anton Parks.

I had the pleasure of ready the first three "Chronique Books" of Anton Parks. If ever, time is on your side, he presents his view, on what is "Nibiru". I know everyone here would love to have a read at it.

    The best !

Yes, they are fantastic read. Maybe soon we will know more. The Info talks about some documents that will be found in Azores.
Maybe the time is getting closer...check this...

    -----------------------------
The information is fresh and has been announced this month on the 15th Symposium on Mediterranean Archaeology held in Sicily, Italy.

Ancient funerary ruins possibly dating over 2000 years old have been noticed in plain sight in the islands of Flores and Corvo. Such structures are much similar to those used in ancient Greece and Rome between the IX and III centuries b.C..

Further archaeological excavations and tests will start being conducted during the coming month and, if conclusive, they may suggest the occupation of the islands much before the first Portuguese have arrived in the XV century.

Accordingly, this may also provide support to the idea that ancient civilization travelled the seas across the Mediterranean and way beyond reaching the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

One must wonder to what extent this information may be coincidental with the myth surrounding Atlantis. I won't suggest the veracity of the full "tale" or of the several fantastic stories attached to it.

However, strictly looking to the factual basis (if confirmed by the coming research), the existence of funerary structures similar in terms of tradition to those used in the Mediterranean geography by Greeks and Romans somewhere between the IX and III centuries b.C. must be conclusive that these people spread much further than ever considered. Accordingly, also the idea that a civilization emerged / was established in some island(s) bearing significant volcanic and seismic activity may also find echo on those same stories of a lost city that sank into the ocean.
