Default James Redfield - the 12th Insight

for those who haven't had the pleasure of reading his books, or watching his movies I highly recommend it.

this video explains what is going on in his words over the next few months in very simple terms...

I REALY enjoyed his first book, the Celestine Prophesy. Are his other books as good? If so, I will definitely order them.

I have noticed over the last few years that I've become much more intuitive and that there is also a lot more synchronicity occurring in my life.

Thanks Rocky for bringing this to my attention!

I enjoyed reading his books in college! Thanks for posting this. I haven't thought of him in a while.

I bought this book about a year ago. I've only read about half of it.
The reason that I stopped was that each day my own life began to parallel what I was reading about.
It became so freaky that I became too chicken to open the pages.

So I lent it to a friend, she read the whole thing in a couple of weeks,
but nothing happened to her. No synchronicities, zilch.
But then she doesn't live by the motto "where focus goes, energy flows".
I'm very careful these days where I direct my energy.
Now the book is here on a shelf in my bedroom, staring at me with those weird eyes, like a living entity.
Maybe I should try again, and write a daily report on the Here and Now thread.
Here in the mountains of Costa Rica my life is so quiet, what could possibly happen?
But back then I was in Barbados, and that was another matter. Crazy stuff.

I read these books at their first publication, (was it in the mid nineties? ) and have them to this day. In fact, I was going through the library last night,, looking for a collection of Gothic tales, and spotted these books, sitting side by side and reminded myself to read them again. I would highly recommend these wonderful, hopeful books. As I watched my husband drive off to work this morning, headed for a meeting with "the chosen", a handful of Illuminati offspring who have been hand selected by the board of directors to lead the company/companies in the future and over-stepping the hundreds of qualified people who have toiled for their benefit, a re-read of these gems definitely helps to remind us that these evil do-ers, these self appointed "rulers of the world" weren't always in power and they won't always be. We are all equal, we've just forgotten that. I can't get over the synchronicity in seeing those books yesterday and this thread. Thank you so very much Rocky!

I do wish these books would make it to every supermarket shelf in the world.
About the Illuminati...for the last two hundred years the world has gone through the fastest changes in history,
and while there will always be leaders who have more access to material wealth than others,
it is the sudden growth spurt that has brought about the current condition...with human nature causing all sides to miss out on finding a balanced role in their lives.
So not only have the illuminati gone overboard in their desire to control every aspect of life, to the point of using the mass media to deceive the less privileged, but this material growth spurt has also enabled millions and millions of people to come out of agriculture-based living and enabled them to enjoy warm water showers, TV, beer and pizza, a comfortable sofa after a day at a monotonous job yet no access to decent spiritual education which would help them find meaning in their lives. The very speeding up of life has robbed them of valuable contemplation time.
Part of the collective Aquarian spirit which is now influencing the masses is that feeling of being an outsider, the feeling that the action is elsewhere. That feeling that everyone is united except me. When in fact it is a collective delusion, that has even gripped the members of the elite...or maybe I should say especially the elite. Because as individuals they are all victims of that same feeling of alienation....this is what I have observed whenever I have been around the rich and powerful.
Gurdjieff used to say "on this planet we are all equally beggars".
But these Redfield books are something special, in that they can break one out of that shell of isolation, with an equal appeal to all levels of society.
(with the exception perhaps of bookworms who expect a specific writing style)

I read the Celestine Prophecy and it was an awesome piece of fiction based on advanced spiritual concepts and an adventure. Extremely well written, very informative and educational, as well as quite entertaining as a fictional read -- I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn / consider a little more in terms of "real" spirituality, without having to read something dry by the likes of say, Deepak Chopra -- don't get me wrong, I love and fully respect Deepak for the brilliant man he is, but I find his books a bit dull to read.

I've lost my copy (likely lent it out and never got it back, which is fine), but I do have the 10th insight and the Experiential Guide ... I don't think I ever did read those ... thanks for bringing up the topic!

Lets not forget the final book from 1997, "The Celestine Vision". It reminds me so much of what I have found in the community of PA. In fact it is kind of funny that I pulled the book out to look at the year under the copyright page, and I dropped it. Is it synchronicity that it opened to page 230. The chapter has the heading, Merging the Dimensions. It reads:

“I believe that our World Vision shows us that human beings will continue to increase their personal energy levels. During the evolution of our business practices and goals, and the transformation of our professional and occupational roles, we will be guided on our way by synchronistic moments, filling us with ever higher levels of inspiration and energy.
As greater numbers of people increase their energy these will be the energy levels expected in the culture, and life spans will begin to lengthen dramatically. As we work to stabilize world populations levels, inspired couples will forgo having children of their own to adopt parentless children from around the globe.
Over time, we will have gradually automated our survival needs, regrown the depleted forests, and returned much of the land back to wilderness. We will live in homes that are infinitely durable and inexhaustibly powered. At this point, our mission will be to grow spiritually and focus on the increase in energy itself. Here the synchronistic moments will be even more inspiring as we meet others along the some wooded path or beneath a five-hundred-year-old oak that lives beside the stream. Again, these meetings will occur at exactly the right times for our lives to evolve to a higher level of energy.
At the same time, contact with angels and departed loved ones who are already in the Afterlife will increase, completing a trend that is already underway. Death will be known as a transition to a dimension that is increasingly familiar and nonthreatening. And eventually, as the quantum energy patterns of our bodies begin to increase to ever higher levels, we will find ourselves in purely spiritual form. We will still be standing right where we are, by the stream again or under the old oak, for we will be able to see our bodies for what they have always been-pure light.”

I was experiencing everything this book shares before I first read it, and as I was reading, synchronicities were happening all around me, it was like I finally found someone that understood what I was experiencing, I was no longer alone...

it was years before joining Avalon, and finding out there are tons of us around the world...

isn't it great no longer being alone...

Amysenthia, I was typing this before seeing what you shared...

I am still stunned that Redfield' s later books have not been accorded with the respect they deserve. Simple parables but on the nose, every one of them. the Road to Shambhala I have read that nearly 10 times. There was a through line and key lessons in that journey that I was compelled to visit over and over again.

And the last book .. I ask myself, how does he know? Thanks for these interviews everyone, I will be listening/ viewing every one.
