Default Up Close Interviews of Leaders of South American Nations with Oliver Stone

There is a relatively new movie out by director Oliver Stone. Stone interviews all the presidents of South America and you get to hear an uncensored revelation of who these people are and what their vision is as well as their opinon of the Government of the United States and the International Monetary Fund.

We must always remember the talent of Oliver Stone to bring us to the truth.

I place this post in current events because information regarding the leadership of South American nations is so very difficult for the average American to come by. The film is current and explains some of the struggle/coup situations southern nations have gone through.

There is quite a revolution going on down there, bloodless at this time, despite Corporate, Media and Imperialist attempts to make it otherwise.

This film is a must see if you are considering relocating to South America.

I always liked Hugo Chavez and found his humor to be acute and revelatory. I could not see the darkness that the US government tried to cast upon him. Clearly, this film shows why this man has won 13 democratic elections and is beloved by the people of Venezuela.

For the first time in modern history South America is under the control of its people and represented by people of the Southern Hemisphere, not implanted Imperialists with the money of corporate influence or under Euro and US control.

Available on netflix "South of the Border"

The film also provides candid interviews with most of the leaders of South American nations.

The film has Stone and his crew travel from the Caribbean down the spine of the Andes in an attempt to explain the "phenomenon" of Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez, and account for the continent's "pink tide" leftward tilt. A key feature is also Venezuela's recent Bolivarian revolution and Latin America's political progress in the 21st century. In addition to Chávez, Stone sought to flesh out several other Latin American presidents whose policies and personalities generally get limited, or according to Stone, biased media attention in the United States and Europe, notably: Evo Morales of Bolivia; Cristina Kirchner and former president Néstor Kirchner of Argentina; Rafael Correa of Ecuador; Raúl Castro of Cuba; Fernando Lugo of Paraguay; and Lula da Silva of Brazil.[1]

Thank you Chavez was among the "castaways" of poverty along the roads of Brazil. He witnessed friends being kidnapped, dissected for organs and shabbily left with stitches and no pain killers after surgery, along side the roads. Many did not survive. Chavez is a man of the poor people/ALL people who care about life first. Food supply, resources that help the country's economic infrastructure plans to put people in more modern homes with electricity. Chaves said NO TO COLONIALIZED CORPORATE NATION RESOURCE RAPING caused by behind closed door deals with elites who have paid politician Presidents before him. He truly cares and takes care of the people.
Not afraid to say when he had cancer, i put in a good word to heal or eliminate it. Strong leaders need prayer when they are for the people.

Well here is a recent interview with Oliver Stone --- talking about his new mini-series which is on Showtime -- "The Untold US History". Since it's on Showtime, I don't have access to it. The interview is interesting and think about THE TIMING. Oliver may be someone we can appreciate:
