Default Audio books (does anyone have a pile?)

    Hi,

as for as piling up audio books that is, why the question?

Well, i just purchased a second hand first gen i pod touch ( 15 euro) and i am a total digilectic and would not know where to search for interesting Avalon style audiobooks, and since i am going on a small holiday to Tenerife soon i would like to have something informative to listen to on not so sunny days, or on very sunny days while laying on my back on the beach and or in bed.

So if anyone has some audiobooks to share, i would be most apriciative for that.

Maybe other people would be interested in them as well and if you have some and are willing to share for nothing but a bunch of thank you's, please share them in this thread.

    Thanks in advance people.

    Edgar

Hmmm what interests you in particular at this time/ I'm just finishing "Proof of Heaven" by Eben Alexander. Very good in my opinion! I loved "DMT: The Spirit Molecule" by Rick Strassman. The Conversations With God Trilogy. The Power of Now or A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. Evidence of the Afterlife by Jeffrey Long is good too. Give me some ideas what you like.

I listen to a lot of podcasts like Veritas, Red Ice etc. But you probably know where to find those.

Then of course you could browse http://thepiratebay.se/browse/102 (Audio books on Pirate bay)
and download them with e.g. µTorrent

I have Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke. PM me if you want that because then I have to put
it up somewhere for you to download (approx. 210 Mb).

Some years ago i started with all the rabbit hole interviews (mp3s) mentioned on forums. Looking back many of these are dated and overly concerned with limited events. I doubt i'd go back to listen twice. Besides the good ones are usually second hour needing subscription fee, (which i have honored).

To get more specific information and views... I have downloaded many books in pdf. Then converted these to mp3 using GhostReader software. I cannot say enough good things about text-to-mp3..... There are some pdf book sources listed in threads here. Besides books there are countless online pdfs. I bought some new books by popular authors to... Always making sure first, that the text could be copy-pasted into mp3 converter. The DRM softwares proudly prevent this. But some authors use Kindle just to gain book-release audiences, then after a contract period allow their book to become accessible text.

"Avalon style" would to me imply an integration of science, philosophy, historical, metaphysical, galactic-political, spiritual, etc... Yet i have seen most people here do not integrate numerous view-points... Rather most people here seem to devote interests to more singular areas of non-interfered subject matter... Interference, after all, is said to be the heart of the hologram! No doubt average people world wide are not integrative with their own thoughts. Perhaps this is part of the human dilemma: Too much specialization and self focus. Me i have absorbed so many texts in recent years and really love understanding current thoughts widely. It keeps my mind wondering.
