    Default Important: Judiciary Rules (video)

The case taken up by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, as published Friday the 25th, has the integrity of the Federal Republic as its subject. This potentially carries devastating consequences for the Barack Obama administration.

Obama's Recess Appointments and Claims of Ruling Without Congress Were Just Like Hitler, LaRouche Said

    January 28, 2013 • 9:03AM

On January 6, 2012, two days after President Obama had made his unconstitutional recess appointments, and had, on the same day, declared that he would rule without Congress if necessary, Lyndon LaRouche pointed out that Obama's actions were just like Hitler.

In this context, we again documented the parallels with Hitler's 1933 Ermächtigungsgesetz — the notorious "Enabling Act" — which was passed by the German Reichstag on March 23, 1932, and which gave Hitler the right to govern on his own, in contravention of the Weimar Constitution, without consulting parliament.

We also noted at the time, that Obama's accusations that Congress is dysfunctional, and his mantra of "we can't wait," were likewise reminiscent of Hitler's Crown-jurist Carl Schmitt's contempt for parliamentary democracy, and Schmitt's legal rationalizations for the Führerprinzip (leadership principle) under what he termed "the emergency."

Speaking in Cleveland on Jan. 4, 2012, Obama said: "But when Congress refuses to act, and as a result, hurts our economy and puts our people at risk, then I have an obligation as President to do what I can without them. I've got an obligation to act on behalf of the American people. And I'm not going to stand by while a minority in the Senate puts party ideology ahead of the people that we were elected to serve. Not with so much at stake .... We're not going to let that happen."

Shortly after the passage of Hitler's Enabling Act, Schmitt had publicly defended it, declaring that the Executive prerogative now included the power for the Executive to pass laws by itself. Schmitt wrote that "the present government wants to be the expression of a unified political will which seeks to put to an end the methods of the plural party state which were destructive of the state and the Constitution." Sound familiar?

Everything coming out of the executive branch
any more is coming from hitlers play book.

It's time that congress grew a pair and put a
stop to all of this nonsense.
