Forums in Slow Motion/Your reports needed

The tech guys are having trouble tracking down the cause of periodic slowness in forum response - Both PA1 and PA2.

Please post your thoughts on the speed.
They'd like to get a better idea of who this is affecting.

Post the time (with time zone) and the link you had trouble accessing.

Post if you got this message after waiting a long time.

I got that message here in the UK a few minutes ago - 10:01 British Summer Time, 9:01 GMT. I was in one of Bill Ryan's threads and I clicked on the "Project Avalon" link near the top of the page.

sometimes unbearably slow. like 2 minutes before a msg is posted. sometimes medium speed (like 10-20 seconds) never fast like other forums I know. reporting from spain.

I am in the UK on a mega-fast connection and there is a small delay in posting but not irritatingly slow for me.

Pages load fine, but messages stall while posting. Has to be related to the database on the server.

pages very slow in loading and when posting, its so slow the messages are lost and not posted. I get an error page instead. Please fix!

Have noticed that youtube vids don't always show. I know it's there but sometimes it's just a black box other times nothing at all.

Most of the time it's just very slow

Sometimes when using a direct link to the forum from favourites it's slow or hangs. If I go to Camelot home page and go to Avalon forum PA1 it does connect. Then I can use the direct link when I'm in PA1. When here I find that responding with quotes hardly ever works. I mean it's that slow that it gives the message “bugger off and try later.” I have found that if I want to reply with quotes it's best to right click that and open in new window.....it works every time that way.
