Well they couldn't get the Democratic voters to support verizon or Google who are joined at the hip with DHS. Since WE don't use their products, they are looking to buy/tap into something WE use everyday. This way they can match with old addresses and cross with DMV. Cheney and Patriot ACT allowed for this. Any agency that wants to snoop, can now do it through search engines and phone systems, and now the hospital wants an e-address? Huh, who do they think they are trying to con?

What they fail to realize is people aren't gonna spend their hard earned money on "evil intent" ever again. That goes for business, and government.
