I just added another report. Dennis, on the report options I think "it's a spam or a scam" hits the nail on the head.

That page is a bloody mess now... it's done whether facebook deletes it or not.

Reported this facebook page as scam....I feel now with that amount of people complaining............facebook has to remove that page....

I do not think you can have libel suit against Avalon for picture taken on Facebook. They made their comments public, anybody has access to it, libel would be lost at first glance from a judge. A bit like what the fake facebook page of avalon, everything in it is public display anyhow, except for few comments. If there is any libel, it can be on these and for misrepresentation/id appropriation if proven, not for taking pictures and names that are already open to the public..

You may certainly be right, Flash, but this is not about their pictures and names, it is more about the insinuations going with it. Spamming another site is not a great response IMO. "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." Facebook does have a policy that if a person is being impersonated that they will close the page and the account of the person who has begun the page. I've recently had a run in with this on behalf of a dear friend who passed away. As the reports pile in, it will be interesting to see if they are ignored or honoured. Patience will give us a greater understanding.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! HOW INCENSING!! I would strongly suggest... This could be a sophisticated counter intel operation, (I know understatement, of the century, but we must remain "empirical" We don't know who OUR enemy is yet. It is very targeted, complete with "shills" placing bogus comments. Like the most recent statement saying the page has been up for over 3 years? (I have only seen a copyright of 2012?) and such a direct attack on Camelot followers? Either way, it looks designed to provoke a knee jerk reaction.

Therefore my immediate reaction is to back up a bit...

For people who want to protect any facebook investments (I have limited facebook 'exposure' because I have several issues with their privacy policies and management for years which is now becoming an even more serious issue as anyone who has followed the Sandyhook incident and other Government black operations knows, and now tens of thousands can testify to the new inherent dangers, despite the lucrative potential opportunities it dangles in front of marketers, etc...

In a nutshell, look at it this way, we are being confronted by something pretty perverse here,

a specific attack and immediate attempt to undermine Kerry's efforts to her increasingly successful following of Project Camelot Conventions and growing media presence

Built on a slow and definite path of years of hard work and dedication. Considering the potential for a defamation lawsuit or copyright violation, whoever is behind this must think they are invulnerable or "protected" or deeply funded to take such a huge risk. Any decent litigation lawyer would be salivating to take this case on a commission basis. Besides the immediate acute attack on Kerry, I also see something else going on here...

They could be culling for PA connections to FB users. for possible future "operations"... (something to consider)

Therefore first off: DON'T GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT!!! - in particular to those who may have extensive FB "investments" in marketing campaigns advertising etc, I know how devastating it can be to lose months and years of investment...

Let us not be hasty. Do make your views known on this and call make complaints to Facebook, (which is weird why that page is still even there!) But if you want to make life difficult for whoever the creeps behind this counter intel operation are. Create an alternative facebook page yourself. Think about it, you don't even know who you are confronting here!! The naysayers are shills too. Who would care to make such a directed attack and have a name like "Chelly Parks" (those are the kind of fake names I would make up, when I am in a hurry)

Don't make PA Users easily identifiable targets by always using the same account, fight fire with fire, and make the work of the jerks behind this difficult. Make them gather as much useless data from created accounts that you won't use, in the future.

This isn't about putting any personal information on the line,

what matters is that you speak from your heart, your inner conviction.

I would dump as much false personal reference data on whoever is trying to POTENTIALLY collect it. WE MUST DO OUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE! I promised I wouldn't make epithets, but I have some choice words I am forcing out of my mind right now.

FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE, view this as a potential attack on all PA users!

Sorry that's complete "baloney" if Project Camelot and Project Avalon are registered and copyrighted (I have to assume they are) then it doesn't matter that they are public, that makes no sense at all... A libel suit should be definitely looked into. This is damaging both to the Names and reputations of Bill and Kerry and it will have financial consequences to Kerry, this is clearly a liable offense when you damage someone financially. That is the law of the "commercial" world. The fact that the damage is "financial" is going to be a BIG DEAL. I say pursue it and FIND A LITIGATION SPECIALIST OF THE HIGHEST CALIBUR. you are right for copyrights, you are right for id stealing, you are right for reputation, and you are right for money, but not for things that someone has published and is in the open, from its own will: ex: the guys that are writing on the fake facebook account, telling stories that are false. You can put their picture here, without a risk of litigation, since they made it public and had no copyrights to it - a bit like lady gaga picture that would be put on this forum.

What is copyrighted is the format, the forum content in terms of everything concerning the forum, but not my post, i do not think Bill owns my post. I know, I was caught in a similar litigation and I had to sign away my rights to my writing for the company to use it in litigation. That was the first worry that I addressed.

Same thing here, in the present post. If i do not copyright it, it can be reproduced anywhere, as long as it doesn't harm any reputations or brake any other law. All of our posts can. Picture is another story, it depends, at least in Canada.

Now, since you are right in the main point, and did not look at the whole context before answering, could you at least not tell Limor and I that what we say is complete balloney and that it makes no sense at all?

I have reported the page as a scam and also posted as such on the page urging people to do the same.. i guess we will see the power (or lack of) our voices in the coming days! hopefully this character assassination attempt with be stopped before it goes any further!

I'm new to the word myself, so I would still double check. Not sure why this isn't "sophisticated". I can't claim to say that it isn't. Although on second glance, I do notice that the graphics are poor quality. We don't know who is behind it, how many, how long it has been up. And they have almost 5,000 plus "likes". So I would grant a level of "sophistication" to whoever is behind it. Also their ability to "mimic" Bill's persona online, and carry on a "facsimile" of authentication in tone and verbiage. And there seems to be other shills involved (unless he is faking unlimited user accounts which I doubt)

And I would have been fooled, in fact I was fooled for the first 30 seconds reading Bill's post. As I thought "hey, I didn't know Bill had an Avalon Facebook Page!"

Anyhow, and with all due respect my focus is that Bill and Kerry should consider,

FINDING A LAWYER AND LOOKING INTO DOING WHATEVER THEY CAN TO SUE (NOT FACEBOOK) BUT THE PARTIES BEHIND THIS. BECAUSE IF THEY CAN SOURCE THEM, THEY WILL NOT HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON. THEIR INTENTIONS ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR. THE ONLY ISSUE IS FINDING THEM. AND A GOOD LAWYER WHO IS WORTH HIS SALT AND WILLING TO LITIGATE BECAUSE HE SEES A CLEAR INJUSTICE AND A GUARANTEED WIN IS ONE WHO WILL TAKE A COMMISSION.

There are two pages, one of them is a group: Bill Ryan - Project Avalon, and the other one is Bill Ryan - Project Camelot, which appears to be the one impersonating Bill and bad mouthing Kerry. I have reported both of them to face book, and the one as Bill Ryan - Project Camelot reported me back as spam, and have been warned by face book.
