The Mystery of the 'Immaculately Conceived' Baby Anteater

"A Dan Brown-worthy mystery (forget about Dante, what about the zoo?) is as follows: Staffers at a zoological conservation center in Greenwich, Conn., are very confused — as are the rest of us — because their female giant anteater, Armani, has managed to conceive a baby, apparently without the presence of a male anteater. What?

It all started in August, writes Lisa Chamoff for Greenwich Time. Armani, an anteater at the LEO Zoological Conservation Center, had given birth to anteater baby girl Alice. Alice's father, Alf, was kept away from Armani and Alice because male anteaters have a bad history of committing infanticide. And then one April morning, a zoo staffer entered Armani's abode and found ... another baby. Chamoff explains, "The sudden appearance of little Archie was a surprise, to say the least. The gestation period for anteaters is six months. Armani and Alf had not been back together long enough to do what they needed to do to put the cycle of life into gear a second time."

Hypotheses began to fly about the conservation center and beyond. Some people thought it was "immaculate anteater conception" (though probably no one really thought that).* Or that "Alf had somehow gotten the keys to Armani's pen one night in October." Another explanation has been posited by the founder and director of the center, Marcella Leone, who believes that Archie "might have been a case of delayed implantation, when fertilized eggs remain dormant in the uterus for a period of time." Anteater-similar mammals like sloths and armadillos have demonstrated delayed implantation — and yet, still, there is mystery: "some experts say they've never seen a second embryo implant after a mammal has just given birth," and that such a thing would be unlikely in giant anteaters.

The anteater experts themselves are at a loss. "Dr. Margarita Woc-Colburn, an associate veterinarian at the Nashville Zoo, which has one of the largest collections of giant anteaters in the country, said some scientific papers have mentioned the scenario in which an animal's body pauses a pregnancy until environmental conditions are right," writes Chamoff. Stacey Belhumeur, a Tucson, Arizona, zookeeper and species survival plan coordinator for the North American population of giant anteaters, suspects that the baby's origins are far simpler, though. "My guess is they thought they had him separated ... We've had animals breed through fences." Leone says her anteater charges should not have been sharing a fence line at the time that this pregnancy would have occurred — but were they? Was this a case of delayed implantation? Or is it something far more miraculous?

Unfortunately, unless the anteaters themselves 'fess up, there appears to be no way to prove what actually happened. It's an anteater mystery for the ages.

*As has been pointed out to me, the "immaculate conception" refers to Mary being free from original sin upon her conception and not Mary being a virgin upon Jesus's birth. It appears to have been used in the latter way in Chamoff's piece and at the zoo.

Global warming debunked: NASA report verifies carbon dioxide actually cools atmosphere

(NaturalNews) "Practically everything you have been told by the mainstream scientific community and the media about the alleged detriments of greenhouse gases, and particularly carbon dioxide, appears to be false, according to new data compiled by NASA's Langley Research Center. As it turns out, all those atmospheric greenhouse gases that Al Gore and all the other global warming hoaxers have long claimed are overheating and destroying our planet are actually cooling it, based on the latest evidence.

As reported by Principia Scientific International (PSI), Martin Mlynczak and his colleagues over at NASA tracked infrared emissions from the earth's upper atmosphere during and following a recent solar storm that took place between March 8-10. What they found was that the vast majority of energy released from the sun during this immense coronal mass ejection (CME) was reflected back up into space rather than deposited into earth's lower atmosphere.

The result was an overall cooling effect that completely contradicts claims made by NASA's own climatology division that greenhouse gases are a cause of global warming. As illustrated by data collected using Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry (SABER), both carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), which are abundant in the earth's upper atmosphere, greenhouse gases reflect heating energy rather than absorb it.

"Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats," says James Russell from Hampton University, who was one of the lead investigators for the groundbreaking SABER study. "When the upper atmosphere (or 'thermosphere') heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to shed that heat back into space."

According to the data, up to 95 percent of solar radiation is literally bounced back into space by both CO2 and NO in the upper atmosphere. Without these necessary elements, in other words, the earth would be capable of absorbing potentially devastating amounts of solar energy that would truly melt the polar ice caps and destroy the planet.

"The shock revelation starkly contradicts the core proposition of the so-called greenhouse gas theory which claims that more CO2 means more warming for our planet," write H. Schreuder and J. O'Sullivan for PSI. "[T]his compelling new NASA data disproves that notion and is a huge embarrassment for NASA's chief climatologist, Dr. James Hansen and his team over at NASA's GISS."

Dr. Hansen, of course, is an outspoken global warming activist who helped spark man-made climate change hysteria in the U.S. back in 1988. Just after the release of the new SABER study, however, Dr. Hansen conveniently retired from his career as a climatologist at NASA, and reportedly now plans to spend his time "on science," and on "drawing attention to [its] implications for young people."

Creating Past, Present & Future in the Now ...

“NOW” is all there is. If you are like me, you have heard this a million times. But what does it mean? What does “Now” mean when looking at it from the physical world in which we live? Well, this morning, 5/25/13, as I was relaxing in bed just before arising for the day, it “dawned” on me. No pun intended! Here is what came to me in the dawn of the day:

Past memories are holographic images.

Present real time is a holographic image.

Future thoughts are holographic images.

What??? Yes, everything is a holographic image. In fact I downloaded this particular memory from my heart to my computer brain several years ago. This morning, however, I remembered more of what I already know about the differences in these past, present and future holographic images. It is easy for us to think of a memory as a holographic image because there is no physicality to it. And a future thought or daydream is easy to think of as a holographic image because there is no physicality to it either. Now consider the differences in the past, present and future as we believe we experience them:

Past memories are not physical; they are only emotional.

Present real time happenings are physical and emotional.

Future thoughts are not physical; they are only emotional.

Now here is the tricky part. We think and have created this distinction under the illusion of linear time. We think or “believe” that we can’t create the physical or attach a physical reality to a past memory or future thought. What?? Yes, we “believe” this. But remember, beliefs are part of the program of limitations. Since everything is possible, it is possible to attach the physical to a past memory or a future thought. We just haven’t downloaded the memories yet on how to do this. And why not? Because with memories comes RESPONSIBILITY! When we are ready to remember, we will also be responsible with the knowledge. Responsibility means to let go of FEAR. We can let go of the fear attached to our physical creation. We can also let go of the FEAR attached to our emotional creation. Since we all still create fear, we are not ready to remember everything about how the NOW works.

A few months ago, I downloaded a knowing that I feel is important to restate here:

“Knowledge is Power to Create with Love; Belief is Power to Create with Fear”.

If we remember what this really means, we will be ready to download more of our memories on how the NOW operates.

What “dawned” on me this morning is that we can create a physical world with past memories. We can create a physical world with future thoughts. And we can create this all now, in the present moment. When we create a physical world now with past memories—what do we call this? We call it traveling back in time!! And since everything is possible, we can even create a tweaked physical or emotional version of our past memory. Are you still with me? If so, consider the future thought. If we create a physical world now with our future thought—you guessed it! This is called instantaneous manifestation.

We have been programmed to “believe” that someone else is creating our “present” physical and emotional world right now. But we are the ones creating it! We are the ones creating our own reality that we perceive to be the “outside” world in this present moment. So it stands to reason that we can also create a physical reality around the past memories and future thoughts right NOW!

Carl Jung UFO letter up for auction



A letter from Carl Jung to an editor at the New Republic newspaper in Washington D.C. about UFOs has recently gone up for auction at the Swann Auction Galleries. The letter, dated December 12, 1957, appears to be in response to a request to write an article about UFOs and Jung’s upcoming book on the topic.

Jung demonstrated a great interest in UFOs in his career, primarily the psychological aspects of the modern mythology, but as he expresses in the letter, to his chagrin, “one almost must regret that the Ufos seem to be real after all” ...
