Pardon me ya'll but is that little chapel reflecting light out, because I don't see the diver with light flashing in?

Is something in there that gives off an energy source?

    Beautiful artifact find.

Hi Lifebringer. Looks like the divers have torches. All he would have done would have been to place his torch inside the naos and have it reflecting off the side wall. They obviously have a feel for creative shots. One well known underwater photographer, Alex Mustard (At least in UW photography circles) uses this technique quite often for creative and visually pleasing shots. One of his more famous shots is of the underwater wreck of a VW beetle where he placed torches shining out in both the empty headlight sockets.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I am a passionate UW photographer and couldn't help but reply.

Six km off shore and its just recently discovered? Must of been pretty well hidden behind the fish and coral...lol

Would anyone invite the possibility of things being purposefully planted??

in these regions there is very old artifacts absolutely everywhere. So nobody pays too much attention and do not realize that it may come from an complete city or civilization, until an archeologist passes by. I was always passing comments on potential excavations sites in Turkey (goes as far back as 6-7,000 years with the Hittites) and they were laughing saying there is so many, forget it. Once in s while, a farmer would suddenly show money and material wealth, most probably when he dug gold in his field and told nobody not to be taken by the govenment but sold it on the black market. You dig, you find, including in the sea. There is that much. So I am not surprised it has just now been found.

Wow tht must b nice! Artifacts everywhere...same in parts of Africa where bones are concerned. Some areas you could b walking on a site with a bed of bones under your feet...

Also these statues found from the egyptian city seem very much intact and smooth for artifacts...if it were a legitimate find--wht a good one.

I think its interesting that we are just finding about this now 13 years after the fact. can you imagine how many artifacts have been smuggled out of there never to be seen by the general public??? My opinion of course, AND, is this the real Atlantis?

That did cross my mind, too.!!!!! also would you think after that many years there would be more build up of debri and barnacles etc. Some of those statues look brand new IMHO
