“Catch Me if You Can”: Obama’s Successful Trifecta Strategy

    [1] Productive Chinese-American Summit

    [2] Edward Snowden, ex-CIA, ex-Booz-Allen “Whistleblower”

[3] AP, IRS Targeting and Benghazi Affair Disappear from News.

I have repeatedly stated that in the “Games of State” or to put it more crassly, in the world of “manipulation, deception and distortion”, the real province of the Nation State Intelligence—“NOTHING OCCURS by ACCIDENT”!!!

When three different major news evidence occur at the same time, the likelihood of their being connected somehow by some means is QUITE HIGH.

    Let me go into specifics:

First, on June 9, 2013, POTUS and President Xi Jinping met at the Annenberg Estate in Southern California in what I inferred to be quite a successful meeting concerning Chinese and American national security/economic interests. But apparently the one area that they could ‘not agree upon’ was ‘cyber war’. Hmmm. Interesting point to remember.

Sidebar: For an insightful discourse on Chinese behavior and negotiation strategies, please read Dr. Richard Solomon’s ground-breaking book, entitled, Chinese Negotiation Behavior published by the United Institute of Peace and RAND Corp.

Secondly, within about 24 hours of the conference, Edward Joseph Snowden, a 29 year old, North Carolina high school drop- out, who signed up in 2003 for the Army Special Forces training, and was hired at the BELTWAY BANDIT BOOZ ALLEN as a software systems engineer ‘leaks low level classified data’ concerning ‘USG Massive Surveillance Program’ and , most importantly for me, Snowden requests a “CALL FOR PUBLIC DEBATE”.

Now, this scenario is a bit far-fetched and let me tell you why.

Apparently, Snowden leaked his ‘secrets’, ‘selectively chosen not to harm our national security’ and gave them to the British newspaper The Guardian and the American newspaper, The Washington Post.

Next Snowden gave a very professionally staged video interview that was streamed all over the internet in which he declared his honorable intentions that he felt a moral obligation to inform the world that ‘China was not our enemy’ [most people missed that point] and more importantly that he supported the very policies that Senator Obama supported but POTUS OBAMA had reneged on.

Snowden was repeating what Obama the Senator had stated early on his tenure as POTUS, “Let’s review our massive surveillance program and have a PUBLIC DISCOURSE”.

On the surface that seems very honorable and I personally have no problem with that very point.

My problem stems from the following incongruities in Mr Snowden’s personal history and his sudden defection to China, albeit Hong Kong.

    What do I mean?

Reportedly Mr Snowden never graduated high school. That’s interesting. However, not a very compelling background for his subsequent history… He claims he joined the Special Forces and more significantly being CIA to work on information technology security serving first in Geneva. Then in 2009, Snowden joined the N.S.A as a ‘contractor’ in Japan, where he watched "as Obama advanced the very policies that I thought would be reined in."

What’s troubling me? And why can’t I stop harping on this story line?
The narrative presented by Snowden to the Guardian does not add up. Snowden well knows that as an ex CIA and ex-NSA employee, he ‘blew the whistle’ to the two newspapers that are completely in COLLUSION with both the USG and BRITISH INTELLIGENCE.

    No secret there.

Just remember that movie "Three Days of The Condor" when Robert Redford brings CIA secrets to the NY Times? And then he is asked "how do you know we, the CIA, don’t control the media?"

So much for disingenuous intentions and methods.

Then, Snowden has a history of ‘moral obligations’ that seem to terminate his careers no matter where he is located.

For example, Snowden joined the Army, Special Forces, in 2003, because he wanted to fight in Iraq.

Interesting. But here comes the familiar Snowden punch-line:

“I felt like I had an obligation as a human being to help free people from oppression," n he said to the British Intelligence-run The Guardian.

But then he added---watch his pattern of becoming “disillusioned”--- "he became disillusioned with the military."

“Most of the people in training us seemed pumped up about killing Arabs, not helping anyone.”

    WOW !!That’s quite a revelation.

Snowden CONVENIENTLY BREAKS HIS LEGS DURING A TRAINING ACCIDENT. And he was HONORABLY DISCHARGED FROM THE ARMY.

Now, in my experience, this type of attitude concerning SOF really blackballs you for the rest of your career, be it civilian or military.

    But not in Snowden’s case.

    Here is what happens next:

He goes on to become a SECURITY GUARD at the N.S.A SECRET FACILITY on the University of Maryland Campus.

That is really stretching the credibility of the narrative.

I happen to know about that facility and even with my previous TOP SECRET and other esoteric clearances, I could not go to the bathroom without an escort- let alone hire a high school drop out who failed the Special Forces Training Program and disliked the Army.

    Give me a break!

Did anyone who created this narrative remember that anyone but anyone who had anything to do with the N.S. A had to pass Polygraph and High Education Standards and Civilian/Military evaluations?
You are getting the idea that I do not buy Snowden’s NOBLE effort to reveal State Secrets.

This is a classical scenario where the WH, CIA, and other USG intel groups decided to open up a much needed discussion in a way that allowed Obama to save face from the fact that he had reneged on his former promises of transparency and restricted intelligence surveillance.

And Snowden’s TIMELY REVELATIONS AND DEFECTION TO CHINA where he declared [absurdly, I might add], "that Hong Kong is a place for FREE SPEECH AND IS NOT CONTROLLED BY THE PRC."

Oh, and conveniently adds, as a sidebar, ‘that CHINA is not the USG enemy’—only 24hours after a major US –China Summit.

All very propitious. But not credible.

For me in the business of Counter Intelligence, I would say that Snowden played his part well. He was convincing, credible to the degree that no one would check the inconsistencies of this back ground and most importantly he salvaged Obama’s Presidency for the next few years.

What Snowden points out is legitimate. How it was orchestrated was devious but clever.

The WH and others made sure that Snowden worked at an outsourcing contractor—BOOZ ALLEN—a company I know very well.

That company should be completely expunged.

Booz Allen is nothing more that an expensive CUT-OUT FOR EX-CIA, MILITARY AND GOVT OFFICIALS who can’t find work anywhere else.

To get an idea how worthless and expensive BOOZ ALLEN has become to the American taxpayer, please read NY Times Article, June 10, entitled “Leaker’s Employer Became Wealthy By Maintaining Government Secrets” written by Binyamin Appelbaum and Eric Lipton.

Basically what Snowden and his cohorts ‘exposed’ intentionally but probably ‘unintentionally’ is the following RAPE OF THE AMERICA PUBLIC MONEY:

[1] Over the last decade most of the BOOZ ALLEN growth has come from selling ‘expertise, technology, and manpower’ to the N.S.A.—1.3 BILLION DOLLARS. 23 % of the company’s revenue.

[2] James Clapper, DNI, former Booz Allen Associate. John M. McConnell, Former Director of National Intelligence also Booz Allen executive.

Folks, you see how we are getting ripped off. The CIA, MI and other rejects and ‘antiquated failures’ received their six figure govt pensions, then went on to receive seven figure salaries and then go back into the ‘revolving door’ of ‘crony capitalism’ and 'political corruption'

[3]The CARLYLE GROUP (private equity group), composed of ex- government officials many whom I have known use their influence and contacts to ‘buy out USG contract agencies’ and make them public. A useless banking organization like Carlyle that adds no value to society buys out a another useless consulting company which derives most of it’s income from the INCOMPETENT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, charging you, the taxpayer for services that you had already presumably paid for in having the govt agency. For example, sixty to eighty per cent of the intelligence community is OUTSOURCED TO BOOZ, LOCKHEED MARTIN AND COMPUTER SCIENCES CORPORATION who are populated by ex govt officials already receiving USG pensions.

So we, the US taxpayers, are paying of the ineffectual govt agency, then their outsourcing and their going public.

Boy are we the suckers in this game. Rip off of the millennium for taxpaying citizens!

Forget about being monitored by Apple, Google and FaceBook. We have just been SCAMMED BY THE LARGEST MAFIA OF ALL: THE USG , MILITARY /INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX and now we are INSOLVENT.

    Get the point!!!

Snowden is a set-up character who made the stupid mistake of not really allowing his narrative to make any sense –other than being a PAWN in the GAMES OF STATE.

So once again, POTUS OBAMA STRATEGICALLY WINS THIS ROUND and we the AMERICAN PUBLIC will be another 5.6 BILLION DOLLARS POORER.

Let us remember the words of President John F. Kennedy:

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution INEVITABLE”.

"The time to repair the roof [i.e America] is when the sun is shining."

PS - IMHO, this (IS) as close to the (TRUTH) as your gonna get on this matter...

Interesting and intelligent questions. We should read carefully and think hard.

Here's a question in return (as Devil's Advocate):

If Snowden was genuine (and i'll declare my hand: I'm pretty sure he was) -- what would have been the best/ right/ optimum time for him to go public?

There's almost always something in the news against which the USG might welcome a 'distraction'. Sandy Hook, the Boston Bombing, Syria, Iraq, Benghazi, etc etc -- the list goes on, endlessly. You will understand the point.

If Snowden had gone public a few weeks previously, the same charges could be made. And I'll bet the same will be true in a few weeks from now.

Occam's Razor suggests he is genuine. We shouldn't be surprised (or suspicious!) that whistleblowers are coming forward. There's a lot for them to blow the whistle about. May there be many more, and may they be for real.

Quote I have repeatedly stated that in the “Games of State” or to put it more crassly, in the world of “manipulation, deception and distortion”, the real province of the Nation State Intelligence—“NOTHING OCCURS by ACCIDENT”!!!
This is the most important statement as it covers the whole enchilada. So what do we do in the face of this? We see. We shine the light of as many eyes as we can on this so that others see with clarity instead of the shadows.

I just read Dennis Leahy's post in which he expressed wonderfully what I see as our next step. He says:

Quote So, are we smart enough to use this story to our advantage, or are we going to waste a golden opportunity?
And as I said here we need to co-opt their moves, take the energy, make it ours and turn the tide.

Snowden, like Manning, is most definitely a pawn in the game and will be easily sacrificed.

If we spend endless hours debating who said what and who worked for who we debilitate ourselves. Use the cases of Snowden and Manning to educate and raise the awareness level of those who don't yet believe the government isn't going to protect them.

Grab the energy and use it, don't lose it.

If we can embrace the entirety of all possibilities they all lead to the same conclusion. Time to take action and educate those who never visit alternative media sites. Get as many as possible on board now.

Quote So it is very important to warn the unwary about the real consequences of giving up their freedoms for a supposed need for security. Necessity imposed by the governments from their false flag attacks.

Edward Snowden gave us another opportunity and tool against tyranny.
    Peace.
    (Above from naste.de.lumina's post here).

Pawn or hero? Does it matter? He has the world stage so use it. If he turns out to be pawn another way to illuminate the despicable manipulations of the shadow government. If he is a hero he shines the light on the Orwellian surveillance network. Either way we can win a battle in the Awakening Humanity Game!

we must always look at these things closely, but it *is* possible to get too close. and when things get too close they most often appear blurry...

knowing when to press the breaks while zooming down the rabbit hole is perhaps the most delicate art of all. we here on Avalon are born n bred to scrutinize, but this can result in chasing one's own tail from time to time. i won't pretend to know much about the special forces, but getting into the American army itself is quite easy, provided you are not maimed or crippled, mentally or physically. they'll take damn near anybody. and from there, i'll bet the road to the special forces or any other branch of the military is a smooth one, if you are indeed up for the task.

as far as the Washington Post and The Guardian: what media outlets aren't in some way NWO controlled or affiliated? and I wouldn't be so quick to assume he was aware of this, despite his alleged CIA and NSA background. more surprising than what some of these CIA/NSA types do know, is what they *don't* know (or perhaps rather, "conspiracy" theories they do not subscribe to)

and the suspicion aimed at those who have had moral epiphanies is usually unearned, imo. and when a little gas is poured on top of those suspicions and lit with the match that is our "mainstream" media, the result in an inferno of disinformation. john Kerry lost the 2004 election due to the "swift boat tactics" of the right -- they called him a "flip-flopper" for having served in Vietnam and then having later protested against it. instead of being honored for his bravery and service, he was given this ignoble label...that still sticks today.

oh, and if I defected to China, i'd be kissing their ass too

I think we here in the alt media (and as citizens of planet earth) are so accustomed to being screwed by the PTB, that when something positive happens we can't accept it. we have to tear it to shreds and set fire to it, all the while patting each other on the back while we offer congratulations for our award-winning discernment. the article *does* raise some interesting points, but as we are all well aware by now: if one is determined enough, any story can be picked apart.

    Another slant on that picture:

So... since this taping of people's communication started with "Echelon" and has been going since... how come the communications between Snowden and the Guardian weren't intercepted? And, if they were, then it was allowed to go on...

Hence a hint of psyop... NSA will receive a slap on the wrist and swear not to do it again... etc... and they'll probably stick to their word since they don't need it anymore...

    Why?

They can now tap directly from one's brain: see https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...-Robert-Duncan

Snowden may or may not be a planned op, but there is nothing solid yet to say he is (other than disbelief). If a planned op, the system is shooting itself in a vital organ. The fact that surveillance is old news to you and me, does not make it old news to many-many people who need to hear what Snowden is saying. Anyone can poke holes in someone elses life story -- that this or that doesn't make sense. A high school diploma is overrated. Higher level diplomas may or may not mean much, depending more on the person than the diploma, and may indicate a high level of indoctrination. If Snowden is a creative, self-educated person, who can do the job, he doesn't need a degree. I've yet to read a article by an insider or former insider that offers more than speculation. The system is not invincible.

Yes, no whistleblowers, and it's a losing battle for humanity. At times where each person is being utilized in many ways, (and everyone is being used, even if it's for the 'good'), there is no one verdict that can be cast on almost any matter, no black or white situations. In this case the timing was right (arranged to be right?) for Snowden to release his conscience and information to the public. It is very hard not to honor him for the move he made. But evidently it is all part of a game and the level of the game goes deep. What are the implications for the public and where is it heading to becuase of the revelation? that is the real question. On the whistleblower's part, whether Wikileaks, snowden, manning etc. as long as it's done on the mainstream media and designed for the ears of the general public, then it can be suspected that there is a double game, if not a triple one. double games are also common in the alternative media, but the chances of 'real' and not a used whistleblower to spill the beans are better, although, becoming rare as the days go by. Everything is a game today. We all are invested in this game, having to play it if we like to or not. discerning the wheat from the chaff is important, But what is more important is to grow an outer perspective, or like Christine said -'try to see things with clarity instead of the shadows'.

Everyone is a pawn at this time, but the final 'checkmate' move will be in the hands of those who can see the game from above and know it for what it is. The relief comes in being familiar with the exact definition of the 'checkmate' move : "Delivering checkmate is the ultimate goal in chess: a player who is checkmated loses the game. In chess the king is never actually captured – the game ends as soon as the king is checkmated because checkmate leaves the defending player with no legal moves, Or, simply put, the king is under direct attack and cannot avoid being captured".

As it seems, the defending players of our reality game will be left with no moves, as long as we will be able to see the game for what it is, Then we can 'checkmate' them.

Chinaski, welcome back, Sharp and with no filters as usual : )

I especially agree with one of your points and that is the need to 'zoom out', or as 'Madness' put it best -take a 'One step beyond'.

Ed Snowden Has More, and There Are More Ed Snowdens!

    June 14, 2013 • 9:59AM

Not only has Edward Snowden released a lot of information which has not yet been made public, as Glenn Greenwald has reported, but there are many more Edward Snowdens who will be surfacing over the coming days and weeks.

The series of escalating bomb blasts exposing the corruption and dirty deeds at the heart of the Obama Administration took a direct leap into international policy and espionage, when details of the Office of Tailored Access Operations (TAO), tasked to infiltrate, hack, and attack the information infrastructure of China and other nations were exposed in a June 10 article in Foreign Policy magazine.

The article, "Inside the NSA's Ultra Secret Hacking Group," by Mathew M. Aid, reveals that the Chinese response to the Washington Post, New York Times, et al.'s cyber-war charges against China — that Washington is in fact actively engaged in cyber-espionage against China — was correct. Huang Chengqing, the Chinese government's top Internet official, had reported that Beijing possessed "mountains of data" showing that the United States has engaged in widespread hacking designed to steal Chinese government secrets.

The Foreign Policy article states: "According to a number of confidential sources, a highly secretive unit of the National Security Agency (NSA)... called the Office of Tailored Access Operations, or TAO, has successfully penetrated Chinese computer and telecommunications systems for almost 15 years, generating some of the best and most reliable intelligence information about what is going on inside the People's Republic of China.

"Hidden away inside the massive NSA headquarters complex at Fort Meade, Maryland, in a large suite of offices segregated from the rest of the agency, TAO is a mystery to many NSA employees... According to former NSA officials interviewed for this article, TAO's mission is simple. It collects intelligence information on foreign targets by surreptitiously hacking into their computers and telecommunications systems, cracking passwords, compromising the computer security systems protecting the targeted computer, stealing the data stored on computer hard drives, and then copying all the messages and data traffic passing within the targeted email and text-messaging systems. The technical term of art used by NSA to describe these operations is computer network exploitation (CNE).

"TAO is also responsible for developing the information that would allow the United States to destroy or damage foreign computer and telecommunications systems with a cyberattack if so directed by the president. The organization responsible for conducting such a cyberattack is U.S. Cyber Command (Cybercom), whose headquarters is located at Fort Meade and whose chief is the director of the NSA, Gen. Keith Alexander."

Besides being criminal, the TAO operation, like other Obama games, can cause America deep embarrassment.

Matthew Aid reminds us of this in his concluding remarks:

"In recent years, TAO's collection operations have expanded from Fort Meade to some of the agency's most important listening posts in the United States. There are now mini-TAO units operating at the huge NSA SIGINT intercept and processing centers at NSA Hawaii at Wahiawa on the island of Oahu; NSA Georgia at Fort Gordon, Georgia; and NSA Texas at the Medina Annex outside San Antonio, Texas; and within the huge NSA listening post at Buckley Air Force Base outside Denver.

"The problem is that TAO has become so large and produces so much valuable intelligence information that it has become virtually impossible to hide it any more. The Chinese government is certainly aware of TAO's activities. The 'mountains of data' statement by China's top Internet official, Huang Chengqing, is clearly an implied threat by Beijing to release this data. Thus it is unlikely that President Obama pressed President Xi too hard at the Sunnydale summit on the question of China's cyber- espionage activities. As any high-stakes poker player knows, you can only press your luck so far when the guy on the other side of the table knows what cards you have in your hand."

All right, this is turning into another "place your bets" deal... haha... is he or isn't he... at first I thought woopee, someone calling out the US Big Brother apparatus. But then after listening to the Rense Duffy interview with skeptical ears. I actually became convinced there is a possibility something is not adding up...

And although I can't say definitely, if I had to 'bet' I'd say he's an agent. I think that desperate times call for desperate measures. And right off the bat, I was absolutely confounded that he didn't immediately seek Iceland's offer as I mentioned in another post. That did not quite jive. This guy doesn't give the appearance of a compulsive risk taker. And his history is laced with ambiguity. I guess instead of hiding the fact that he has ties to NSA, Special forces, and military contractors they are going to dress him up as a disillusioned ex military employee that wants to throw away his future for a romantic trip to Hong Kong? Of all the places on the planet to get away from the US influence ... Hong Kong? bizarre... strange logic to my mind.

I'm no military expert, but doesn't he sound like that character from Red October? just a little bit, broke his legs, honourable discharge? I think Limor has a good point, a guy who made his living collecting intelligence, but goes to mainstream British and US Tabloids? I don't know what the game is.. but I don't think that China is being fooled. And so far what has he spilled? like Duffy said, nothing that wasn't said over 15 years ago. And telling China that the US is spying on them and hacking their computers is news to China? He has the look, clean cut, glasses, geeky, not your typical military, picture perfect face value. I'm sold on his looks, but what does that really add up to?

I don't think we can judge this one by what we see and hear, because ALL of it could have been contrived. documents, history, it would probably be hard to hide his military knowledge, training, mannerisms, attitude, etc. so spin instead... all ambiguous in my mind. We need more context. I am going to give credit too, to Duffy's and Piezeniks instinct, these guys got military culture in their blood, and Piezenik I especially admire.

And another thing that sounds just too hoaky, and even if he is so disillusioned with the US Police State apparatus, where is the connection with his love affair with China? shouldn't he just be anti bureaucracy? Logically there is no connection. There is nothing in his background to suggest that he would want to support China, Chinese politics, it doesn't even mention he likes Chinese food! And when was the last time anyone heard that Hong Kong was the pillar of Free Speech?... (like NEVER...) So this guy gets to be a super expert on one opinion and a dope head on any faux paus like not knowing that ALL major Media Outlets are controlled?... aahhh doesn't EVERYONE know that today? Except in this rare case... which is of course another question to be answered... they just went along and made this front page news!

Something is not sitting right, but I don't know what the game is, I don't know what the angles are, the sheer ambiguity prevents any valuable speculation. The only thing for certain is this is highly ambiguous, to say the least.
But I absolutely agree the game is afoot. (lol)

we must always look at these things closely, but it *is* possible to get too close. and when things get too close they most often appear blurry...

knowing when to press the breaks while zooming down the rabbit hole is perhaps the most delicate art of all. we here on Avalon are born n bred to scrutinize, but this can result in chasing one's own tail from time to time. i won't pretend to know much about the special forces, but getting into the American army itself is quite easy, provided you are not maimed or crippled, mentally or physically. they'll take damn near anybody. and from there, i'll bet the road to the special forces or any other branch of the military is a smooth one, if you are indeed up for the task.

as far as the Washington Post and The Guardian: what media outlets aren't in some way NWO controlled or affiliated? and I wouldn't be so quick to assume he was aware of this, despite his alleged CIA and NSA background. more surprising than what some of these CIA/NSA types do know, is what they *don't* know (or perhaps rather, "conspiracy" theories they do not subscribe to)

and the suspicion aimed at those who have had moral epiphanies is usually unearned, imo. and when a little gas is poured on top of those suspicions and lit with the match that is our "mainstream" media, the result in an inferno of disinformation. john Kerry lost the 2004 election due to the "swift boat tactics" of the right -- they called him a "flip-flopper" for having served in Vietnam and then having later protested against it. instead of being honored for his bravery and service, he was given this ignoble label...that still sticks today.

oh, and if I defected to China, i'd be kissing their ass too

I think we here in the alt media (and as citizens of planet earth) are so accustomed to being screwed by the PTB, that when something positive happens we can't accept it. we have to tear it to shreds and set fire to it, all the while patting each other on the back while we offer congratulations for our award-winning discernment. the article *does* raise some interesting points, but as we are all well aware by now: if one is determined enough, any story can be picked apart.
    I Agree with you Chinaski...

The OP presents a complex insider analysis that doesn't appear to have entered the public discourse in any way, and I've been following it closely. We've already been preaching to the choir for too many years here and now its time to reach out and touch the mainstream keeping in mind many are shocked with what they've already learned. They don't need to know what some of us may have discovered that makes it all the more awful and depressing.

The article in the OP seems like disinformation to me, written by an intelligence insider for an audience of insiders. Its effect is to muddy the waters of public discussion rather than shed light. And while the writer's angle may seem logical [except for being factually incorrect on some points...Snowden got a GED and went on to get training in IT and so, he wasn't a high school drop-out], it offers only more doom and gloom and for what purpose? To let us know how powerless and screwed we are? That message doesn't seem helpful to and is hardly new.

I was surprised Snowden released his info to the Washington Post, not because the Post is CIA, but because they're overtly prim and proper when it comes to protecting the government. It's no secret that they checked with the administration to see what they could and couldn't publish about PRISM and in the process they changed Snowden's story. Their misreporting was incorrectly attributed to Snowden not keeping his story straight and that lie stuck with many instead of what happened. I'm on mainstream websites, correcting misperceptions that some are deliberatly perpetrating in an attempt to cause people to dismiss the story and move on to Entertainment news.

The current public narrative is weird and awakening enough to keep the world talking about it without introducing a new angle of speculation that claims to support Snowden's message while discrediting him at the same time..

The information about Booz Allen sounds accurate and the cozy swap of data and staff between the NSA and private contractors is going on, for sure. But focusing on the financial corruption will only sidetrack us from the Constitutional abuses many may be more inspired by to do something about.

A better idea might be to remind others about our 4th Amendment rights, to speak honestly without fear, to call the crooks to task in language most people can related to and raise a stink about the USA Patriot Act with the demand that it be rescinded. Until that changes much of what they're doing is technically legal, even if they ignore the spirit of the law.

In other words, offer people a frame in which its safe to express outrage and then offer a focus that could lead to a solution, even if that solution is not even close to what some of us here may consider worthwhile, adequate or even desirable.

I'm talking about mobilizing mainstream folks for whom even the current pea-sized revelations may feel to them like a boulder rolling downhill aimed directly at their friends, families and all that is familiar. Some people in the comments sections of mainstream news sites think they've got it all wrapped up and this is no big deal. As long as they're not distorting facts, I don't respond to their usual taunts.

This is a time for the alternative community to listen and support the mainstream on their own turf and not drag them down a rabbit hole that will only scare them more, or will cause them to prematurely dismiss or oppose the more complex information that we may more effectively present later.

The high strangeness of current and upcoming events will do our prep work for us and then some. Our deeper more fringe knowledge will be accepted more easily when they're asking us for it.

Love and grounded action are the context that's going to get us through this, not 'figuring it all out' or thinking we can outsmart anyone. Trying to control everything and everyone is the consciousness behind spying on us. No need to be a copycat in order to create something new.

    Off topic, sort of...

If you ever feel threatened by your proximity to a criminal (on the street, for instance) or an intimidating dark power, here's a way to pass unnoticed for the most part. First, as a rule of thumb, you can assume that less evolved, or evil, energy is focused in the lower chakras. If you can tune into the primary location of their energy in their body, great, but its not absolutely necessary.

To become invisible to them, drop your energy to a lower location (and thus lower vibration) in your body than where theirs is located and they won't notice you, or if they do you'll look like a safe, nonthreatening person or power. Misery loves company, after all.

If you can read their energy field notice where they're identity is residing, then move a notch lower in your energy field than that.

It may be necessary to practice before this is useful on-the-fly. If you run into shame, guilt or fear when moving down the scale of your energy octaves, you may need to find a clearing technique to release any negative charge or beliefs you still carry from your limiting conditioning. You may run into beliefs that tell you it's not okay or safe to move into the sexual chakra (without, say, believeng you're a pervert or whore), or maybe feeling 'bad' or 'evil' for moving into places where rage and anger are stored. This drop-down method is also a way to stack the deck so that negative folks who may be annoying but not 'evil' don't bother you. Learn how to embrace darkness without fear, guilt or shame while remembering who you are as a light being and you'll have a lot less to resist, and, thus attract more of the same, in this world and its neighboring universes. There is a guy in Colorado who teaches this. WIth a little research I'll see if I can find his website and post it.

Naomi Wolf: My Creeping Concern That The NSA Leaker Is Not Who He Purports To Be

    http://www.cryptogon.com/?p=35659

    June 15th, 2013
I’m still waiting for Snowden to release something, anything, that hasn’t been intuitively obvious to me for at least the past 15 years, and confirmed as fact since 2006/7 (Klein/Room641A).
If Snowden is the real deal, why are we having to contend with the corporate media censors to decide which sections of the documents we get to see and which ones we don’t?
Snowden, if you’re out there, what happens to the encrypted emails that come across the wire? Or, how does NSA run man in the middle attacks on SSL sessions? (Don’t hold your breath waiting for answers to these questions.)
Anyway, this spectacle is far from over. I’d suggest keeping your dial set somewhere between outright cynicism and ambivalence going forward.
    Via: Facebook / Naomi Wolf:
I hate to do this but I feel obligated to share, as the story unfolds, my creeping concern that the NSA leaker is not who he purports to be, and that the motivations involved in the story may be more complex than they appear to be. This is in no way to detract from the great courage of Glenn Greenwald in reporting the story, and the gutsiness of the Guardian in showcasing this kind of reporting, which is a service to America that US media is not performing at all. It is just to raise some cautions as the story unfolds, and to raise some questions about how it is unfolding, based on my experience with high-level political messaging.
Some of Snowden’s emphases seem to serve an intelligence/police state objective, rather than to challenge them.

    a) He is super-organized, for a whistleblower, in terms of what candidates, the White House, the State Dept. et al call ‘message discipline.’ He insisted on publishing a power point in the newspapers that ran his initial revelations. I gather that he arranged for a talented filmmaker to shoot the Greenwald interview. These two steps — which are evidence of great media training, really ‘PR 101? — are virtually never done (to my great distress) by other whistleblowers, or by progressive activists involved in breaking news, or by real courageous people who are under stress and getting the word out. They are always done, though, by high-level political surrogates.

    b) In the Greenwald video interview, I was concerned about the way Snowden conveys his message. He is not struggling for words, or thinking hard, as even bright, articulate whistleblowers under stress will do. Rather he appears to be transmitting whole paragraphs smoothly, without stumbling. To me this reads as someone who has learned his talking points — again the way that political campaigns train surrogates to transmit talking points.

    c) He keeps saying things like, “If you are a journalist and they think you are the transmission point of this info, they will certainly kill you.” Or: “I fully expect to be prosecuted under the Espionage Act.” He also keeps stressing what he will lose: his $200,000 salary, his girlfriend, his house in Hawaii. These are the kinds of messages that the police state would LIKE journalists to take away; a real whistleblower also does not put out potential legal penalties as options, and almost always by this point has a lawyer by his/her side who would PROHIBIT him/her from saying, ‘come get me under the Espionage Act.” Finally in my experience, real whistleblowers are completely focused on their act of public service and trying to manage the jeopardy to themselves and their loved ones; they don’t tend ever to call attention to their own self-sacrifice. That is why they are heroes, among other reasons. But a police state would like us all to think about everything we would lose by standing up against it.

    d) It is actually in the Police State’s interest to let everyone know that everything you write or say everywhere is being surveilled, and that awful things happen to people who challenge this. Which is why I am not surprised that now he is on UK no-fly lists – I assume the end of this story is that we will all have a lesson in terrible things that happen to whistleblowers. That could be because he is a real guy who gets in trouble; but it would be as useful to the police state if he is a fake guy who gets in ‘trouble.’

    e) In stories that intelligence services are advancing (I would call the prostitutes-with-the-secret-service such a story), there are great sexy or sex-related mediagenic visuals that keep being dropped in, to keep media focus on the issue. That very pretty pole-dancing Facebooking girlfriend who appeared for, well, no reason in the media coverage…and who keeps leaking commentary, so her picture can be recycled in the press…really, she happens to pole-dance? Dan Ellsberg’s wife was and is very beautiful and doubtless a good dancer but somehow she took a statelier role as his news story unfolded…

    f) Snowden is in Hong Kong, which has close ties to the UK, which has done the US’s bidding with other famous leakers such as Assange. So really there are MANY other countries that he would be less likely to be handed over from…
    g) Media reports said he had vanished at one point to ‘an undisclosed location’ or ‘a safe house.’ Come on. There is no such thing. Unless you are with the one organization that can still get off the surveillance grid, because that org created it.

    h) I was at dinner last night to celebrate the brave and heroic Michael Ratner of the Center for Constitutional Rights. Several of Assange’s also brave and talented legal team were there, and I remembered them from when I had met with Assange. These attorneys are present at every moment when Assange meets the press — when I met with him off the record last Fall in the Ecuadoran embassy, his counsel was present the whole time, listening and stepping in when necessary.
Seeing these diligent attentive free-speech attorneys for another whisleblower reinforced my growing anxiety: WHERE IS SNOWDEN’S LAWYER as the world’s media meet with him? A whistleblower talking to media has his/her counsel advising him/her at all times, if not actually being present at the interview, because anything he/she says can affect the legal danger the whistleblower may be in . It is very, very odd to me that a lawyer has not appeared, to my knowledge, to stand at Snowden’s side and keep him from further jeopardy in interviews.
Again I hate to cast any skepticism on what seems to be a great story of a brave spy coming in from the cold in the service of American freedom. And I would never raise such questions in public if I had not been told by a very senior official in the intelligence world that indeed, there are some news stories that they create and drive — even in America (where propagandizing Americans is now legal). But do consider that in Eastern Germany, for instance, it was the fear of a machine of surveillance that people believed watched them at all times — rather than the machine itself — that drove compliance and passivity. From the standpoint of the police state and its interests — why have a giant Big Brother apparatus spying on us at all times — unless we know about it?

How to identify CIA limited hangout op?"
June 18, 2013, by Webster Tarpley
    http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2013/06...ed-hangout-op/

"The operations of secret intelligence agencies aiming at the manipulation of public opinion generally involve a combination of cynical deception with the pathetic gullibility of the targeted populations."

Limited hangout artists are instant media darlings

    "Daniel Ellsberg" "Julian Assange"

Limited hangouts contain little that is new

    "Pentagon Papers" "Wikileaks Document Dump"

Limited hangouts reveal nothing about big issues like JFK, 9/11

"...the principal supporters of Ellsberg were figures like Chomsky, whose hostility to JFK and profound disinterest in critiques of the Warren Commission were well-known. As for Assange, he rejects any further clarification of 9/11."

(People focus on what they are interested in, and not everyone is interested in JFK or 9/11. What about the influence of other worldly beings as a big issue? If an instant media darling says "ETs" are real, which is old news in some quarters, does that make it a limited hangout op?)

Limited hangouts prepare large covert operations

"If the Snowden operation can help coerce the vacillating and reluctant Obama to attack Syria, our new autistic hero may claim credit for starting a general war in the Middle East, and perhaps even more."

(Does a surveillance scandal necessarily lead to a Middle East War? Is it the right tool for the job? Is attacking Syria Obama's decision to make? What about unintended consequences, like waking people up?)

(Do these elements cast too wide a net? How about a false flag event instead?)
