Russell is one to keep on your radar for sure.
Yknow the saying about always listen to the old and the quiet, well I know he's not quiet in his typical flighty Gemini persona, but you get the feeling what he reveals is only the tip of the iceberg.

Sometimes the wisest people are not those who shout their facts loud and pompously, dropping names and belittling the ones they presume can offer nothing to their presumptuous standard, but those who remain confidently subdued and ask those with facts the right questions.
Russell does this with a hint of mercurial humour and wit, making him ten steps ahead of those oh so serious types.

The court joker was the only one allowed to tell the King the truth without loosing his head.
We need more Russell Brands!

I think that he is softselling an idea that is pure dynamite.
If people really understood iconicism on a mass scale, and how it displaces their creative energy.
Many more would start practicing real freedom.
Also, they would start laughing, and keep on laughing, and Russel would be even richer.
But how can you put a handle on this guy?
Does anyone see any strings on this guy?
Maybe he is too easily discounted, cuz he is so wild and crazy.
But seriously folks, a comedy show on how we give away our power?
How is that not a sign that we are in the age of more shall be revealed?

This is one guy who keeps showing up in MSM,
who to one extent or another knows how to wash this stuff off,

Being a brit I allus thought RB was a bit of a d!ck when he initially emerged on the scene, several years ago. However, he has matured very nicely and is growing in my eyes (ooooh Matron). That video is what RB does best imo. On the spot humour and now with his enlightened view of things he is just getting better.

Russell Brand set for Question Time

Russell Brand has scrapped a number of dates in the Middle East after being told
his safety could not be guaranteed. He had been booked to perform in Abu Dhabi
and Lebanon on his Messiah Complex world tour. His routine deals with figures such
as Malcolm X, Gandhi and Jesus.

"Those gigs have been banned, pulled because of threats from extremists that if I
went there there would be problems," Brand told Radio 5live.

"The venue contacted us and said we can no longer guarantee your safety."

Brand told Richard Bacon the nature of the comedy material led
to "fundamentalists" threatening to cause trouble at the venues.

He also believed the promotional poster for the tour might have played its part in
the cancellations.

"The image by the brilliant artist Shepard Fairey depicts me as looking a little Christ-
like....so there's an indication that it might be offensive," he said.

"If you are in some sort of fundamentalist group and Google my name and watch a
few things on YouTube you might just think 'don't bother having him here'."

The tour was due to open in Abu Dhabi in August but it will now skip the Middle
East and go to the US, Canada and South Africa as well as European venues.
Meanwhile, Brand is appearing on the panel of the BBC's political programme
Question Time on Thursday, alongside London Mayor Boris Johnson and MP Dame
Tessa Jowell.
