I had mixed feelings about Russell after he took part in the Olympics opening ceremony. He must have known what it's all about, really. Then he broke up with Katy Perry, the dummy who openly talks about sellilng her soul to the devil and all that jazz - good move... I heard about that without following any tabloid media or any other media... I know... I wish I could remember how I found out while staying away from TV and papers and all that... Still a miracle to me even...

Then he had Laura Eisenhower (mad person that she is), Icke and others on his show, giving them a mainstream platform, which is great, so he's in my good books again.

Also, he propagates vegetarianism, spirituality, the Vedas, consciousness, ends his shows with the words "Hare Krishna" and provides a positive role model to the younger generation (as in someone who is articulate and uses words most 18 year-olds have never even read about and is sort of an intellectual guy) which is GREAT... And his autobiography is quite hilarious, too.

Keep it up, Russell!!!

He uses some shock humor but overall I find his uncensored and direct nature refreshing. Not many people speak their minds or tell you how it is. It's human nature for most to adapt to those around them. He is himself regardless of who he is around.

Funny to watch but I bet he'd make a majority of people extremely uncomfortable with his mannerisms and directness.

I can see something kind of ground breaking here.
Russell is doing things no one else in front of the big cameras is doing.
In this case he broke the newscaster interveiw paradigm for these folks,
turned them into relaxed humans being themselves.
All with the tools of improv performance and what seems to be scads of awareness,
and the creepy tool of charisma used for all the right reasons.

Russell is one to keep on your radar for sure.
Yknow the saying about always listen to the old and the quiet, well I know he's not quiet in his typical flighty Gemini persona, but you get the feeling what he reveals is only the tip of the iceberg.

Sometimes the wisest people are not those who shout their facts loud and pompously, dropping names and belittling the ones they presume can offer nothing to their presumptuous standard, but those who remain confidently subdued and ask those with facts the right questions.
Russell does this with a hint of mercurial humour and wit, making him ten steps ahead of those oh so serious types.

The court joker was the only one allowed to tell the King the truth without loosing his head.
We need more Russell Brands!
