The Der Spiegel article mentioned that the Iranian president got slapped in the face by a military general because he wanted Iran to have "freedom of the press."

The MSM will try to spin whatever comes out of these cables in whatever way furthers their agenda, and will ignore the stuff that doesn't fit into their narrow frame. I'm looking forward to reading through the actual documents myself once they become available.

Using Iran as target, TPTB failed to start WW3 in time. Now they try another path/plan.
The FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt) mongering is always pushed on low intensity, they must save their cause and face. As they did with weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The main issue now is supressing the new energy and alternative technology popping all over the globe. These technologies and science are much greater threat and the effort required to supressing them increase exponentialy.

Regime envoy to Switzerland disappeared with intelligence

NCRI - A former regime ambassador to Switzerland, who was also a senior member of the regime’s negotiating team for nuclear talks, has not returned to Iran and taken loads of information with him, a state-run media has reported.

The state-run Jahan News said Sirous Naseri “who was part of the Hassan Rohani team, has never returned to the country and has taken intelligence with him.”

It added that another official, “Moussavian, is also accused by the intelligence ministry of handing over nuclear intelligence to westerners.”

Jahan News derided Hassan Rohani’s negotiating team and said, “The achievements of this team was to accept all of the West’s conditions. It accepted to close Natanz and UCF, suspended nuclear activities and according to statements by the western side, it even accepted to suspend nuclear activities for 10 years.”

Top US officer says Iran still driving for a bomb

MANAMA, Bahrain (AP) — Iran is trying to build a nuclear bomb, posing a threat to its neighbors, and the United States is "very ready" to counter Iran should it make a move, the top U.S. military officer said Saturday.

Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reassured Persian Gulf nations nervous that an increasingly militarized government in Iran might try to start a war.

"The United States takes very seriously our security commitments in the Gulf region," Mullen said following a meeting with Bahrain's king. Bahrain, directly across the Gulf from Iran, is home to a large U.S. Navy base that would be on the front lines of any war with Iran.

TEHRAN (AFP) — A 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck southeastern Iran, wrecking villages, bringing down power lines, and killing up to seven people and injuring hundreds more, Iranian media reported on Tuesday.

The late Monday quake, with its epicentre near the town of Hosseinabad in Kerman province, was followed by more than 30 further tremors, including one of 5.0 magnitude, the Mehr news agency said, quoting the geophysics department of Tehran university.

State media reported that mild tremors continued into Tuesday near the epicentre of the main quake.

"So far damage has been concentrated in villages in the areas of Sahraj, and seven dead and hundreds of injured have been pulled from the debris," Mehr quoted Kerman governor Esmail Najjar as saying.

"Considering the damage, the death toll is expected to rise," he added.

Other Iranian media gave slightly different casualty tolls. The state television website quoted the head of Iran's emergency medical services, Gholam Reza Masoumi, as saying that four people had died.

The deputy governor of Kerman province, Javad Kamali, told state television that five people had died and that the death toll could rise.

"Around 30 villages are still cut off as they are in a mountainous region. Our helicopters have been despatched since early morning and we will get a fuller assessment later in the day," Kamali said.

The quake struck at 10:12 pm (1842 GMT) on Monday and was felt as far away as the neighbouring province of Sistan-Baluchestan on the Pakistan border.

Iran recruiting nuclear scientists for weapons programme
Iran is operating a worldwide recruitment network for nuclear scientists to lure them to the country to work on its nuclear weapons programme, officials have told the Daily Telegraph.

What officials?

They claim that the country is particularly reliant on North Korean scientists but also recruits people with expertise from African countries to work on developing missiles and nuclear production activities.

North Korea relies on an lucrative financing agreement with Iran to fund its expanding nuclear activities. In return for Iranian money and testing facilities, North Korea sends technology and scientists.

Mohamed Reza Heydari, a former Iranian consul in Oslo, told The Daily Telegraph, that he had personally helped scores of North Koreans enter the country while working for the foreign ministry's office in Tehran's Imam Khomenei airport.

"Our mission was to coordinate with a team from the Ministry of Intelligence in checking the visas of the foreign diplomatic and trade delegates who visited Iran, with special attention to VIPs," he said.

"We had the instructions to forego any visa and passport inspections for Palestinians belonging to Hamas and North Korean military and engineering staff who visit Iran on regular basis.

If West needs war to keep the money going so be it. But if they want a chance to spend that money they need to wipe everything that moves clean off within the borders of Iran cause one thing I'm sure about these guys and their Chinese allies: they won't go easy.

Gosh, Diego Garcia being used for these bombs now? Needs to be cleansed for sure. I remember when working on a satellite project for Loral Space Systems and the Air Force providing logistic support for those satellites on Diego Garcia. Many of the supplies included liquor because of the isolation involved in some of the locations, so far out of reality are they located. This was just one of them with others on Thule in Greenland. Now that they are filthering it up out there, it will probably be part of the Pacific that needs to be cleaned up. Never focus your attention on such negativity and potentialities. Turn instead to focus on happy days ahead when there will be no wars.

This is possible now but it will take all of our concentration to get there from here. Do not keep fueling the fear here in these dark thoughts of creating new wars. No war is possible at least on Earth in these last days during her Ascension into higher frequencies and realms. Its not a good effort to support any time but especially now. Think and imagine a new world without wars and conflicts where brothers are not lusting after each others homes, possessions and lives. Where peace and wellbeing come forth and are available for everyone not just a few select people but for all of us without exception.

You have a lot of power whether you can appreciate it or not. Don't spend any effort thinking about whether some idiots would like another war or what silly things they are doing in secret or out in broad daylight. We do not support any of these dark efforts.
