    Sorry to hear it, Eric Clapton was most notably the 'big star' that brought J.J Cale into the limelight, 'After midnight'..time is sure passing...

    He will be missed however his music plays on forever!!!! He was 74

    I loved JJ....especially the songs he recorded with Ry Cooder... Crazy Mama was so one of my favorites. I'm going to miss him.
