In recent years (especially since 2008, the financial crash) it seems that no one seems to know where the gold is?????

Many countries are demanding their gold back, they want their physical gold in their possession, but no one seems to know where it has all gone.

What is really so "important" about a yellow looking metal that would cause some of the most evil and genocidal behaviors mankind has ever seen/witness/experienced??????

The annunaki probably do have something to do with it They seem to have had it in their temples and considered it quite important and valuable in ancient Babylon and even before then in Sumeria or in the land of UR.

My guess is that DNA probably is somehow connected to gold...we as a species seem to be obsessed with it for reasons that make absolutely no sense, unless you want to say "it's worth something" for an excuse to act like psychopaths over it's existence, or having actual possession of it.

Perhaps the annunaki tweeked our DNA to act like this over gold so we'd be better slaves mining it for them......

It said that when two binary stars start to fuse together, gold atoms are produced in the region where the two stars collide...
It made me think, wow -- maybe it's a bit rare than we thought? And it holds some of the energy of the thing that produced it..

Until today, astronomers believed that all the gold on Earth, and in the universe, was forged in ancient supernova explosions. But new evidence points to a far more violent birth for this most precious metal.

The new culprit is the cataclysmic collision of two neutron stars. The impact produces a titanic flash of intense but short-lived gamma ray bursts (GRB) along with a debris cloud filled with a complex cocktail of heavy elements, including copious amounts of gold. Using NASA’s SWIFT gamma-ray hunting satellite, astronomers on June 3 detected just such a distant, high-energy explosion—dubbed GRB 130603B—some 3.9 billion light-years from Earth. The team of astronomers estimates that material (some of it gold) equal to about one-hundredth the mass of our sun, was ejected by the gamma-ray burst. Edo Berger, lead author of the new study and astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, and his team followed the resulting infrared glow from the burst for days until it faded out of sight. This glow can only be produced by the radioactive heavy elements rich in neutron stars, and the team believes it indicates that GRBs are a product of two neutron stars merging.

With several moons worth of gold being produced by just one GRB, and the many such blasts that are thought to have occurred since the Big Bang nearly 14 billion years ago, Berger and his team suggest that neutron star collisions are the primary factories for gold in the cosmos.

“We estimate that the amount of gold produced and ejected during the merger of the two neutron stars may be as large as ten moon masses—quite a lot of bling!” said Berger in a press statement.

At today’s market rate, that amount of gold would be valued at ten octillion dollars—that’s a 1 with 28 zeros behind it, says Berger.

Unlike supernovae, where lighter elements like carbon and iron are born from the demise of a single star, GRBs are the universe’s most cataclysmic events and are powerful enough to forge precious metals.

“To paraphrase Carl Sagan, we are all star stuff, and our jewelry is colliding-star stuff,” said Berger.

The gold study has been submitted for publication in The Astrophysical Journal Letters and available online.

Been battling this concept for 35 years, with my elders telling me the wonders of a gold backed currency.

I couldn't grasp the symbolism of a piece of paper with numbers and letters buying something of value, versus the same piece of paper buying gold, versus a piece of gold buying something of value. The story of the goldsmiths and the promisory notes held true, but only if gold somehow held an intrinsic value aside from being pretty, shiney, maleable, and rare(ish)...

It's only got value because we give it value, same as the piece of paper with the writing.

But we seem to be hard wired to want to collect the stuff, keep the stuff, and as we aren't dragons, maybe it's the dragons that want us to collect it for them.

There is quite a bit of information in the lithium thread on gold. What it is, what it means, how it works, and so on. Also, any of my posts on gold and alchemy.

Another thing about gold, is that it may be possible to use high output radioactive materials to create gold from lead. Bombardment has a history of creating gold out of lead, via transmutation. Takes a few years. This is a proven science. Thus, to hold back and utilize large amounts of radioactive material and make gold from lead.

IIRC, the Russians had a reactor or high nuclear bombardment device (Can't quite remember what it was, an experiment that ran for years),and after many years, the 11 ton lead shield had converted to gold. Parts of the atomic structure of the lead were knocked out and the lead converted to gold.

This is not conjecture it is a known and accepted phenomena.

Also, that gold is a superior radiation shield compared to lead. This is a known thing in science and elsewhere, but it is too expensive to pursue. I believe, I'd have to research it again, but that gold may not pick up radiation from exposure to radioactive materials. not sure on that one, but fairly confident. (check for yourself)

so, to gather a large amount of radioactive materials, to convert to element 115, or to convert lead to gold, over time, like slow growing plants for harvest.

An additional angle is to use the radioactive materials as a seed material to convert lead into gold, via the use of brown's gas techniques, in the same way that browns gas can be used in conjunction with aluminum and iron, to convert radioactive waste into being non-radioactive. this of course, being proven in official government tests in Canada, that were recorded, and enacted officially, by scientists and representatives from Canada's Chalk river facility.

There is a video tape available of this test done, which was enacted on an amount of the radioactive element 'americium'.

IIRC, the bit on the Russian result of conversion of the 11 ton lead shield, into gold, came from one of Joseph Farrell's books. he provides references for the statement/claim. (as well as the science itself being a known/accepted reality)

Thus, the large amounts of radioactive waste and dirty materials may be more than just 'residue and problems' (for breeder reactors). element 115, possibly and a near 100% potential to be used to convert lead into gold, via chemical and brown's gas means.

I'm so confident on that last one that , if forced to bet, which I don't like to do, I'd bet it all on it being a 100% reality.

Anything representing a store of wealth (energy) will work, gold was convenient as it was supposedly scarce and easily tested to see if it was genuine...anything would have worked with these two properties, and ("special") paper is the most efficient for our times.

The real value of gold (& most things) are hidden from us...that knowledge is the real wealth. Attachments to specific materials and currency are distractions preventing us as species from empowering ourselves. This ideas needs to be discerned/separated from Carmody's important information...the real and practical applications and values of different materials.

Service to others vs service to self comes into play here...but is hard to see if you can't distinguish the real value from the artificial value as mentioned in the quote and lots of posts. I think it is important we focus more on the spiritual implications of economics, we act like it is some separate science--a force of nature, rather than the artificial construct (Ie--arrangement of society) that it is...we aren't going to fix the system, it's core is rotten. You are right, lots of information of gold in the lithium thread, and, should I add, most probably the real reason for which gold is so precious. You most probably hit the target Carmody over there and it has nothing to do with currency and an end objective, although currency is a way to make sure gold is cumulated for the other objective, wich is eternal (or about) life.

The Anunnaki Gods

Perhaps you never heard about some Sumerian gods with names like, Enlil, Nin-urta, or Enki. Enlil means "Master of the power of the air". Nin-Urta means "Hero of the lord". Enki means "Master of Ki". From "Ki" derives the Greek name for Earth, "Gi", and "Gaia".

Those names became Zeus, Ares and Poseidon in Hellas, Jupiter, Mars and Neptune in Rome, Yahweh, Gabriel in Canaan and a lot of different names in other tongues. Enki and Enlil are mentioned in the Bible as the "Lord" since the Jews couldn't accept more than one god.

We often refuse to use foreign names. We prefer names that mean something in our own language. It seems that translating names is like a curse. It's also a result of the confusion of the tongues by Enlil, some 5,500 years ago. No wonder why he didn't want to reveal his name to Moses! Ironically, not all the translated names mean something. Yet, we continue to do that at full speed.

According to the Bible, the purpose behind the confusion of the tongues was to make it impossible for the earthlings to communicate with one another. Enlil allotted different languages to different groups, and scattered them all over the earth. Our language is therefore not our own invention! It's not even a gift from God, but a punishment for cooperating in the building of the tower in the place that later would become the city of Babylon. No wonder why he hated Babylon!

Sometimes a right interpretation helps us to identify persons with very different names. Take "Yahweh" for example. In the Greek Bible (Eph. 2:2) we find that Yahweh is the "master of the power of the air", and in the English version he is the "prince of the power of the air". No doubt, this information is taken from the Sumerians. Nin-Urta, the hero of the lord became Gabriel in the Bible, meaning "Strong man of El." In the same way we find that Nannar, the one with heavenly power became Michael, meaning "he who is like El.'

Those gods and messengers were known as the Anunnaki in Sumer, which means 'those who came to earth from heaven." They are also called Anakim in the Bible, which is a corruption of Anunnaki.

Why do we have to know about them? They created the human. Were they gods? Of course not. They were extraterrestrial humans much like us. After all, we have been created in their image. At some time, they decided to call themselves gods in order to maintain dominion over mankind. So, in a way we are gods too. Except for the ridiculous short life we are programmed to live compared to them.

The Anunnaki came to Earth before the existence of the human race. According to Sumerian and Babylonian clay tablets interpreted by the prominent author Zecharia Sitchin, they were humans from the planet Nibiru. They came to Earth to obtain gold, which they needed to restore the atmosphere of their planet, as they said. We could consider them as mythological beings, often associated with nature, but if we do that we would reject our own history, which is closely associated with them.

If you believe in them as mythological beings, Planet of Gold is going to turn your beliefs upside down. If you believe in the God of the Old Testament, then you believe in the Anunnaki too, because he was one of them. The Sumerians have left behind historical "documents" stating who the Anunnaki were, and why they came to earth.

When did they come to Earth? The Babylonian historian, Berossus, (ca 278-290 BCE) reported in his 'Babyloniaca':

The first king on Earth, according to the Sumerian king list, was Alorus, who reigned 162,000 years. He was, of course one of the Anunnaki. The difference between them and us is that they live so much longer than we do.

In his excellent book, "Genesis of the Grail Kings", p. 83, Laurence Gardner says about the Anunnaki:

Only a few humans knew about the gold operations of the Anunnaki. Those who worked in the underground gold mines could not reveal any information, since they worked and died in the mines. Enki, Ptah, Nudinmud, Poseidon, Neptunus. He was the great scientist who created the human race. He was a half brother of Enlil and Ninmah.

Ningishzidda, Thoth, Hermes, Quetzalcoatl, Mercury. He was a son of Enki and the most well educated of the gods.

Marduk, Ra, Amun, Bel. He was a son of Enki who challenged Enlil, and eventually replaced him as the chief of the gods on Earth, at about 2000 BCE.

Inanna, Ishtar, Aphrodite, Venus. She was a daughter of Nannar and a grand daughter of both Enlil and Enki. She was known as the goddess of war. It's quite unexplainable how she became the goddess of love!

Utu, Shamash, Uriel in the Bible. He was a son of Nannar and twin brother of Inanna. He was the chief of the air forces of the Enlillite administration. Utu means "Shining". Uriel means "Fire of El".

Any sufficiently developed Civilization will have figured out how to turn other elements, like lead, into gold, so there would Never be a scarcity... and as donk has so well pointed out, "service to self" vs "service to others" is a primary factor regarding a civilization's Spiritual development, which is an indicator of it's True State.

At it's current pace, the human race has a ways to go yet.
