Comedians can be an unexpected source of wisdom. Though perhaps it should not be so unexpected; they spend a lot of their time observing the world around them.
Here is Louis C.K. on the modern human condition, and the value of being sad and lonely. Presented somewhat crudely (have to keep it light on these types of shows), there is nonetheless a poignant message he conveys.
