Default Recommended starter videos/documentaries for newbs?

hey guys, believe it or not...i have not watched any video(docu, movie, interview- except inelia int, and david icke, remember who you are) that is longer than 10-15 min on yt, to date since joining PA. that being said, im sure there are others out there who are like me, that dont know where to start, once we have found the time.

im open to any recommendation, this is a thread list for all newbs, not just me.
links to other threads are also extremely recommended. like simon parkes and andrew bartize(sp?)(ill look for those threads to add here as they are on the top of my list)

thanks everyone, i hope to see good stuff that will blow my/our minds(more).

I would start with Project Camelot, which is a sister-site to Project Avalon.

Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy have by the far the best collection of whistleblower/contactee/researcher testimonial that fit into the Big Picture out there on the internet.

This is a great place to start. Project Camelot has hundreds of hours of interview material, and from there you can branch off.

such a hard question to answer...

where do you want to start? understanding reality? understanding humanity? understanding possible conspiracy? understanding money? there's a lot of topics that you can get wrapped up in for a long long period of time researching.

If you are coming fresh one of the first UFO documentaries that really made me think its real is...

The Roswell UFO Crash BBC Documentary - Proof
when the BBC was more open imo.Parts have been
disputed, particularly the alien autopsy footage and
and Frank Kaufmans testomony but it is generally a
    positive documentary.

I had seen the few UFO documentaries put on TV and really enjoyed Arthur C Clarkes Mysterious
world. Horizon and other documentaries, I also enjoyed and still do all the Scy Fy series. From there I
would go to the Camelot/ Avalon archive and from there the webs your oyster so to speak. One of
the first ones was was John Lears interview with Bill and Kerry and I thought he was slightly
barmy, but since then I'm open to lots of possiblites.

Its difficult to suggest more unless you are more specific on a particular part
    of this gigantic field.

Graham Hancock is a good place to start, this is not my strongest area.

The Ion material is fantastic but not for begginers LOL ( and can drive you nuts .LOL )

Since reality is based so heavily in perception (and thus, consciousness) I would start with this video:

This video covers neurological function (perception) and reality itself.. it may take several watches to absorbe the information, it is presented in a very dense format

If you want to delve a bit deeper in the implications of that, I suggest you research Epi-genetics (aka changing your DNA/genetics via the environment the genes are in.. ie, your emotional state, etc... this video is a bit technically complex,)

This is a different take on epi-genetics, which is somewhat informative:

So, from these two videos you can see that reality truly is what we make it, and so are we; but the key to it is Will power, intention and the ability to self reflect.

THE CORPORATION is a Canadian documentary film written by Joel Bakan, and directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott. The documentary examines the modern-day corporation, considering its legal status as a class of person and evaluating its behavior towards society and the world at large as a psychiatrist might evaluate an ordinary person. This is explored through specific examples. Bakan wrote the book, The Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power, during the filming of the documentary.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy. Desiderata - Max Ehrman

    Another good video:

Aether, Etheric we've heard these terms before.. we talk about them as nebulous ideas that are hard to grasp.. but 1 man actually studied them and proved them to be real... he labeled it Orgone.

Orgone energy has been shown to be very powerful, from weather modification to curing cancer... pretty amazing stuff and very very easy to harness / gather.

BBC journalist Adam Curtis has done some remarkable work which has helped me to get develop a bigger picture of what goes on. His remarkable documentary series "The Power of Nighmares" was hugely insightful, so too his documentary series "The Century of the Self".

EDIT: 22/01/15 - I see the Vimeo video has evaporated. I think the primary messages delivered in the video series "The Power of Nighmares" are even more important today than they were when the series was first produced. Here's a current link to the video series - https://archive.org/details/ThePower...ItsColdOutside
