So of course the obvious question is, what has the Philippines done (lately) to piss off the Cabal?

SUPER Typhoon Yolanda—which even here seems to be destined to be better-remembered by its international name Haiyan—was, to put it mildly, an unusual storm. Because of its unprecedented intensity, international media focus was on the Philippines well before the typhoon’s landfall on Friday morning, and perhaps because of that attention various levels of the government (with one glaring exception, which I’ll get to in a moment) were exceptionally proactive in attempting to prepare the country for the impending calamity.
It was encouraging, actually. At long last, it seemed the country’s institutions were finally seizing the chance to get ready for a disaster; even President B.S. Aquino 3rd, often criticized (and rightly so) for being uncommunicative and insensitive in the face of natural disasters, made a brief but welcome appearance on TV to warn the country of the danger, and reassure the Filipino people steps to respond to it were being taken. Information being shared through the regular and social media by relevant agencies was both timely and useful, and it seemed that in comparison to other recent typhoons, Yolanda/Haiyan was being tracked with a significantly improved level of accuracy.
Yet while the rest of the government seemed to be making an honest effort in the run-up to the storm, that utter waste of public resources known as the Philippine Senate was determined to be the sabot in the cogs, by going ahead with the pointless charade of Janet Lim-Napoles’ appearing to repeat, “I don’t know,” and “I invoke my rights” over and over again in response to softball questions posed to her from the Blue Ribbon Committee “investigating” the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scandal. How many more people could have been prepared if they had not had precious hours wasted by a group of self-absorbed blowhards conducting an inquest on a crime in which they themselves are among the prime suspect is unanswerable, of course. What is not uncertain, though, is the lack of demonstrated leadership, or a sense of urgency in the face of an impending crisis.
And in hindsight, maybe the cluelessness of the Senate on Thursday should have been a warning of things to come for the rest of us, especially for the millions in the swath of destruction across the heart of the country. In the aftermath of the typhoon, the response of the Aquino administration, as usual, has been an uncoordinated, fumbling embarrassment. Before Typhoon Yolanda had even finished wreaking havoc on the Philippines on Friday night—in fact, before its effects, which were thankfully negligible at this distance, were even felt around Manila, various government personalities were on the air to congratulate the country on achieving “low casualties,” and the initial reports of only three killed were given wide circulation.
By later Friday, the news was already becoming very grim, and the first light of day on Saturday revealed a catastrophe of astonishing scale—sending those same optimistic government officials back to the airwaves to hastily retract their earlier assessments. In the face of what is probably the biggest natural disaster in the country’s entire history, the Aquino administration apparently decided it was time for Amateur Hour, because the silly missteps quickly piled up. Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin and Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas hastened to the Tacloban area at once, which was commendable, but neglected to bring along satellite phones or some other secure communications, and thus were out of touch for a few crucial hours. CNN’s Paula Hancocks related in a report that she traveled to Tacloban on a military plane whose primary cargo was a van—to a place that everyone already knew was completely inaccessible to any sort of vehicles.
And as for the nation’s supreme leader, he apparently has taken on board the criticism leveled at him for the past three years about his habit of becoming invisible in the first critical hours and days after a calamity, which we could consider a sign of progress. We could, if he showed any indication that he actually understood why his visibility was important and what purpose it should serve, which he clearly does not. In successive public briefings, President Aquino first suggested that the people of Tacloban were partly to blame for their own misery for not preparing adequately, used the tragedy to highlight the necessity of retaining his personal control of a large proportion of the national budget under the so-called “Disbursement Acceleration Program” (this according to one of my The Times colleagues covering that particular meeting of President Aquino with disaster-management officials), used the same availability of funds—which most expect will be declared illegal by the Supreme Court in the very near future—as an excuse to off-handedly dismiss offers of recovery aid from foreign donors, and then angrily walked out of another briefing after hearing complaints from a Tacloban businessman about being held at gunpoint by looters who are overrunning the city, to which President Aquino is reported to have sarcastically responded, “But you’re still alive, right?”
In his Sunday column, fellow The Times columnist Bobi Tiglao set out—not for the first time, and probably not for the last—a sound plan for addressing the Philippines’ chronic typhoon risk (Nation must confront the curse of typhoons, November 10), a framework many have been advocating for some time. But to even get to that point, the point at which “risk preparedness” can be considered a marketable advantage for the country instead of a gross liability and investment disincentive, the Philippines must demonstrate basic competence in recovering from a disaster. Now is not the time for overweening concern about image maintenance, an aversion to honest and accurate information that may be grim or unwelcome, ulterior political motives, or irrational pride. Thousands are dead, many thousands more are in serious jeopardy, and a wide swath of the Philippines’ economic and social fabrics have been torn to shreds. What is needed now is leadership and direction; with the eyes of the world now on the tragedy, maybe the attention will oblige those who have the responsibility to do so to actually provide that.

God help us all indeed! In the meantime, we're trying to do what we can. There are a number of dedicated Weatherworkers here on Avalon who are INTENDING to break up storms. If you want to join in this work, PM me.

Haiyan is now over China. It's no longer a typhoon, but is at tropical storm status, carrying a lot of rain. We can INTEND that rainfall there be moderate, not heavy, no flooding.

There is ANOTHER STORM HEADING TOWARD THE PHILIPPINES. It's in the process of forming now, Nov. 11. This is a heads-up notification for Weatherworkers to begin to break up this storm.

Here's a news article and satellite maps:

    Quote http://weatherngayon.wordpress.com/2...cific-weather/

Tropical Depression Zoraida forming southeast of the Philippines, may hamper recovery efforts
JMA and PAGASA are currently warning on Tropical Depression Zoraida, about 300 km south of Palau. Models project this system to slowly develop over the next couple of days before the impacting the Caraga region of Mindanao [the southernmost island] as well as the Visayas. While the forecast intensity is nothing compared to Haiyan, heavy rainfall and gusty winds are expected to hamper recovery efforts from both Yolanda and the Bohol earthquake.

One thing slowing the development of this system is the low latitude at which it formed. Currently just south of 5 °N, Coriolis–an effect caused by the rotation of the Earth and help increase the spin of developing low pressure areas–is very limited and is hindering rapid development. However, ocean waters and atmospheric conditions remain favorable for development. Therefore, the consensus is a tropical storm to impact the central Philippines. Although a tropical storm, those winds can further devastate impaired infrastructure in this region. [tropical storm wind speeds are up to 65 mph]

If this system is upgraded by JMA to a tropical storm, it would received the North Korean name “Podul” meaning willow tree.

RVers ... take a look at this developing system and see what you can do to dissipate it.

There is an scam exposed by whistle blowers (seems to be the taboo) which indicts one of their favorite boys, Enrile, our facebook is full of this garbage being exposed, my daugther came home today with the school paper front page and last page dedicated by students to this scam. It makes sense to divert the attention of people and wait till the anger devoted to this scam subside.

So of course the obvious question is, what has the Philippines done (lately) to piss off the Cabal?
I know the Philippines pissed off China.
Not a bad place to start... I was thinking, in the back of my mind... (which seems to be doing the most of my thinking these days...) "I wonder if there will be news about it being another "HAARP" (engineered one way or another...) type disaster?"... (so speak of the devil....) then of course the next question is who would be responsible and what would be the motives?....

The first thing comes to mind is that the Philippines is supposed to be a "US ally" I am sure the US uses them like a floor mat (like they do all their "allies") But now the question becomes what is the context of the "current situation in that relationship" between the US and the Philippines in terms of recent developments, for example... any trade agreements, military contracts, etc... that should expose some hot leads on what the bigger picture is... and depending on what that is... and... now that the world is waking up to weather control technology... I am sure that someone will be digging into that area and coming up with some interesting factoids... to flesh out some possible scenarios...

So it could break down like this... either the Philippines is either kissing up too hard to the US or it may be seeing the writing on the wall, and doing like what I think Japan and South Korea are trying to do right now... i.e. realizing that it needs to get rid of its "US ally" stink or become a 'pariah' in the East. If the 'evidence' shows some major butt kissing.... then look to China/Russia... saying "hey wake-up" ****tard, the age of kissing up to the West is coming to an end, get off your knees..." (or something like that...)

And if they have been showing some backbone and politely telling the US... they are tired of applying so "chapstick" then it may be the US Military/Cabal... saying to "Hey how come your not jumping as high? didn't you hear me snap my fingers?...."

Well you get the gist... that is where is stands in my mind right now... i.e. need more info on the context of what is going on in the Philippines in relation to above... if I had to bet though, unless what ever comes out shows that they did some drastically retarded major butt kissing to "piss of China" ...I would tend to believe they are "waking up" and getting it from the West/Military/Cabal... as this tends to be more their style (back stabbing) and signature....

    my 2 cents...

Need more specifics than that... Obviously China isn't happy that the US has got their hand so far up the Philippine's butt, but the question is, how much are they making their lips move, and what is the Philippines doing about it today?... They are pivotal in a way... They have to start looking at the next 50 years... And that will be a growing China and a fading US... (unless the US Cabal can get their "Christmas wish" and start WWIII, but that hasn't been trending in their hoped for direction lately)

Mods.///Merge this with the typhoon thread if you want...but this info needs to be seen.

Dutchsense explains how this Philippines super typhoon was engineered

that is a great video, thx...

well they were using technology to shield Japan from storms, knocked a 4 down to a one, but that storm was pushed so hard it landed in the other storm...

we can all see this isn't a very exact science, was it a Frankenstein move, or accident, from lack of military "intelligence"?

article talks about how the Israeli military is sending experts to Typhoon Haiyan disaster zone to evaluate how to best deploy search, rescue and medicine teams.
    Israel to the rescue? Interesting.....
they need to beat their chest anytime they are doing something good, but maybe they just want military on the other side of Iran...

"The team will prepare the ground for the possible arrival of a larger contingency of emergency responders"

Ya you're correct this is same Technique they use in Indonesia ( quake). Military operation on the pretext of aid. First they hit with a calamity and then send troops to help, allegedly.
In the years leading up to the 2004 Indonesia Tsunami, Strait of Malacca was rife with pirates. After this dreadful event the pirates problem was almost non-existent - their coastal hideouts were wiped out. As China rises, more oil from Iran went through this body of water to reach China. Hmm, I am not saying China did it though. Still I am asking what additional benefits the West would get out of this man-made calamity?

As for the Philippines, two words "Spratly Islands". The Philippines are very vocal and determined to keep their claims.

Haiyan was so powerful and from its projected path would have broad-sided Vietnam but stopped short/veered off and died down. It was never intended for China.

China is not as innocent as she appears to be. I just happen to know her too well.

So of course the obvious question is, what has the Philippines done (lately) to piss off the Cabal?
This was passed to me a few days ago. http://www.deepblacklies.co.uk/the_spoils_of_war.htm makes it crystal clear... or it was just a typhoon. Maybe the microwave was trying to keep it away from Japan and the disaster there...
