I definitely would like to check this one out.

Agree with Omniverse about the plant being put here specifically to aid us. I am not sure it was from another planet or not, but I definitely think its presence here is extremely intentional as is the global conspiracy against it.

Thumbs up OffPlanetMedia: Rick Simpson & The Politics of Cannabis

OffPlanet Radio - Randy Maugans with Rick Simpson & The Politics Of Cannabis

    http://phoenixtears.ca

    YT Synopsis:

We sat down for a conversation with Rick Simpson (over 90 minutes) and covered a WHOLE lot of turf. Rick is the man who “dropped the hammer” on the medical establishment by taking back his power and treating his own cancer using thetrahydrocannabinol (THC) oil. Since 2003 he has successfully treated over 3,000 people with a wide range of ailments, including glaucoma, brain cancer, lung cancer, arthritis, diabetes…the list goes on.

Having done extensive research and testing into the distillation of hemp oil to produce an efficient, provable compound that can be used by anyone with nearly any condition, Simpson went on to make it, and the formula, available to the world for FREE. He has not patented, or attempted to profit from the making, usage, or sale of Simpson Oil, but rather chose to gift it to humanity while waging his own battles with the Canadian Government, who harassed, assaulted, and prosecuted him for continuing to produce the oil. He is now based in Central Europe, where is recognized as a leader in emerging naturopathic health care, and a tireless defender of people caught in the the legal dilemma between compliance with bogus laws against cannabis, and their own healing needs.

The conversation goes into the history of Simpson Oil, Rick’s own legal battles, the history of marijuana prohibition via Harry Anslinger’s Fedral Bureau of Narcotics (interesting, marijuana is NOT a narcotic), the cultural war on pot via “Reefer Madness” propaganda; the rise of the petro-pharmaceutical industry and big money interests, who suppressed cannabis’ healing properties; hemp as a major natural product that can yield 10,000s of products (“…an economy of itself…”) and why the powers-that-be fear the widespread use of cannabis as a curative/palliative application.

The POLITICS OF CANNABIS is simple: Nature is the First Source of all healing; the plants and herbs are God-given; the Big Pharma-Medical establishment is poisoning, radiating, and cutting patients rather than allowing them the choice of a natural, holistic…even spiritual path to wellness. You can support Rick and his work by visiting his website and purchasing his books, “Nature’s Answer For Cancer” and “The Rick Simpson Story”. Also join us in the Media Bomb Campaign and distribute the “Comprehensive Report on the Cannabis Extract Movement” far and wide.

I for one will join in with anyone, I don't care what color you are as long as you want to change this miserable condition that exists on this Earth - Malcolm X / Tsar Of The Star

That was a great interview and a delight to watch. Never knew about this guy until now, but now that I do - it only reinforces my beliefs about cannabis being the great healing medicine it was always meant to be.

Default Hemp-Based Batteries Could Change the Way We Store Energy Forever

Posted by Stephen Cook on August 25, 2014
Hemp has a broad climate range and has been cultivated successfully from as far north as Iceland to warmer, more tropical regions.
As hemp makes a comeback in the U.S. after a decades-long ban on its cultivation, scientists are reporting that fibers from the plant can pack as much energy and power as graphene, long-touted as the model material for supercapacitors.
They’re presenting their research, which a Canadian start-up company is working on scaling up, at the 248th National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society.
Although hemp (cannabis sativa) and marijuana (cannabis sativa var. indica) come from a similar species of plant, they are very different and confusion has been caused by deliberate misinformation with far reaching effects on socioeconomics as well as on environmental matters. Read more…

Outlawing hemp in the US has been another oppressive way of boosting corporate profits. The time has come to reevaluate the many benefits of hemp.

UPDATE- I am so sorry the link is not working. I read the article this morning and even went back to it again about an hour to refer to it and it is gone, gone, gone. Dennis found another article and posted the link below. Again, I am sorry

    Agricultural Benefits of Hemp

    * England, France and Spain have all legalized low THC varieties of hemp for an agricultural crop. England planted 1,500 acres of hemp as a first year crop. Reports from England state that farmers are receiving in excess of 3,000$ per acre for their hemp crop.

    * Low THC hemp is not suitable as a psychoactive drug.

    * A Canadian report from the late 1800′s demonstrated that hemp works very well in rotation with bean and corn crops.

    * In 1991 Ontario farmers receiver 290$ and 240$ per acre for grain corn and soya bean respectively.

    * Hemp was grown successfully in Canada for over 100 years. For a period in the late 1800′s Canada produced ‘hi: of all England’s hemp requirements. At kite time, England was the largest hemp consumer in the world.

    * In the 1930′s, a South Western Ontario newspaper reported that Canadian grown hemp was among the best in the world and far superior to tropical hemp.

    * In Canada hemp can be grown successfully from our southern borders to approximately 60O North Latitude, the parallel that divides the North West Territories from the provinces. This remarkable range is possible due to hemp’s short growing season, usually 90 to 110 days.

    * The hemp plant will reach a height of up to 5m (16ft.) and sink a main tap root down 1 ft. This tap root will draw nutrients from deep in the soil and make them available to subsequent crops when the hemp leaves are shed on the soil. This extensive root system also helps to alleviate the problem of soil compaction.

    * Hemp is very easy on the soil and returns up to 60% of the nutrients it takes from the soil, when dried in the field.

    * A report from Kentucky states that hemp was grown on the same land for 14 consecutive years without soil depletion or reduction in yield.

    * Hemp is very economical crop to grow since it requires virtually no pesticide applications.

    * Hemp is also relatively drought-resistant and has been relied upon several times during drought-induced famine for its high protein seed.

    * Hemp is very resistant to increased UV radiation and should not suffer decreased yields, unlike soya bean and corn.

Dyk that I had to click on one of the other upper articles to enter the page? Wow, somebody is trying very hard to keep this little hush hush silent. Too bad for their greedy little minds. Now if we could unite her and enter the stock of hemp for dividends to really do some good in the world. We could use them to protect whistleblowers, gain more interviews with other world wide witnesses to what we are all seeing and hearing in our world today. We could do sustainable spiritual retreats that offer telescopic tours or viewing at night. Lots could be done, if you jump on it before WS does. Show them how to really put our mouths where our money goes. Go tune it or be present at the meeting to gain the names and then, buy a few stock shares in the company through donation. Maybe a 5% should do a world of good. Just kicking it around because times "financial" times are still rough on the little guys around the world.

Do they have a live stream or video coming out? Gonna check and see who the backers are, and see if I can get a little jump on something. I've also got a page from a AWEA stock share meeting from Dec 13, and by 2015, EU is gonna have work done overthere w/wind. Sooo.....you heard it from me first. Click on share holder update pages and meetings or conventions at AWEA and you'll see what is going on, inside the State's plans and what states are jumping on the band wagon to handle the contracts to fill for the blades.

I couldn't find the articla at the "GoldenAgeOfGaia.com" website, but found a few others reporting the same thing:

For those who need to see stuff on mainscream media to consider it real (most of my family members fall into this group), you could point them to an NBC website article http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/innovati...teries-n178741

    Or,
    http://sensiseeds.com/en/blog/scient...-hemp-battery/

Very interesting. A way to start with hemp fibers and make a material that behaves like graphene (which, by some accounts, is a "miracle" material that will become increasingly critical over the 21st century.)

Dennis, Thank a million for finding this article to cover for my vanishing article. I think this excerpt is really interesting:

    Hemp

The Mitlin Group, a united group of scientists, has discovered how to extract similar carbon from hemp fibres to make nano-sheets. This is achieved by heating hemp fibres for 24 hours at 176 degrees Celsius, after which the resulting material is briefly blasted with a more intense heat. This process causes the hemp fibres to fan out into nano-sheets of the desired carbon.
    A brick of graphite.

    A brick of graphite.

Fully assembled, their performance is better than the current commercial super-capacitors in terms of energy density, and the temperature range in which they can work. Hemp devices yielded an energy density of 12 Watt-hours per kilogram, which is two to three times higher than their commercial counterparts. They also continued to work within an impressive temperature range, from freezing to over 90 degrees Celsius.

“We’ve pretty much figured out the secret sauce of it”, says Dr. David Mitlin. “We’re past the proof-of-principle stage for the fully functional super-capacitor. Now we’re gearing up for small-scale manufacturing.”

I really to believe that the wonderful hemp plant is truly a gift to mankind. We are just beginning to tap into the benefits of it. There really was a reason to keep it away from the masses.
